His tall and austere figure shielded her in front of him.
“Yanxi, Ming Yao is my woman. Try touching a single finger of hers and see what happens?”
Yanxi’s handso face was so dark with anger it seed frost could scrape off it. He glared at Gu Siting fiercely. “Do you know what she did last night? She lured Sister Shi Ying to the outskirts and released venomous snakes, trying to kill Sister Shi Ying!”
“You’re so blinded by Ming Yao that you’ve lost all sense of judgent. You have no idea how venomous her heart really is!”
Gu Siting clenched his jaw tightly. “Yanxi, the Shi Ying you knew is no longer the sa person. The one who has been bewitched here is you; you are the one who needs to wake up!”

Yanxi left with a body full of malevolence, slamming the door behind him.

Halfway through the journey, the car suddenly screeched to a halt.

Before she could comprehend what had happened, the man beside her pushed open the car door and got out.
Ming Yao saw the man chasing after a figure on the road.

His body tensed up, his voice hoarse, revealing his deep wariness of that woman.
Ming Yao felt the unease in his heart and quickly grasped his chilling palm, “Which woman?”
“The nanny.”
The nanny who had abused him when he was a child?
“Didn’t she beco a vegetable?”
Gu Siting’s voice was hoarse as he humd a response and forcefully closed his eyes, “I was mistaken.”

Gu Siting’s tense profile gave a slight nod.
Seeing his unstable emotions, Ming Yao swapped places with him, she drove while he sat in the passenger seat.

Ming Yao knew well that the nanny was a shadow from his childhood, a fear that stemd from deep within his soul!
As the car approached Bluewater Bay, Ming Yao reminded the man lost in his emotions, “Siting, go into the house first!”
Gu Siting nodded, pushed open the car door, and got out.
Just as he was about to enter the villa with Ming Yao, suddenly, a hoarse and aged voice ca, “Xiaoting.”

The woman appeared to be in her forties or fifties but was extrely thin, almost as if she would fall at the slightest breeze.

Ming Yao had never seen the nanny who used to take care of Gu Siting, but given Gu Siting’s current reaction, the slowly approaching woman must be that nanny.
Gu Siting stood stiff and did not turn around.
