Ella had already slipped into the changing room again, but the mont she tugged the zipper of the next dress halfway up, she froze, groaned, and let the fabric drop.

"I’m tired," she complained through the curtain. "I’m not changing into another thing. I’ll just take everything I picked."

Fiona laughed softly outside. "Ella, you’re dramatic."

"No, I’m traumatized," Ella corrected, pushing the curtain open with a sigh

"How do rich people cope with this?". She groaned and continued

"That witch almost made rethink my existence. I deserve compensation. And compensation is—" she pointed to the pile of dresses on the bench "—this."

She didn’t bother trying them on again. She simply grabbed dresses, two jackets, a blazer she wasn’t sure she needed, and shoved them into the attendant’s arms.

The attendant trembled, sneaking glances at Nathan every few seconds like she was carrying holy artifacts that might explode.

Ella strutted out of the dressing area and headed straight for the shoes.

"Oh, these are cute. Fiona, pick two."

"I don’t need any—"

"It’s not about need," Ella cut in. "It’s about revenge."

Fiona sighed but picked a pair, then another. Ella grabbed four.

Bags was next. Of course. Ella twirled in front of the shelves like they were her personal closet, pointing at anything remotely pretty.

"That one. That one. No, two of that color. Fio, you want one?"

"No," Fiona said again.

"She’ll take that one too," Ella told the manager, who imdiately nodded like he was being blessed.

The pile beca comically large. Ridiculous, even. Dress bags, gift boxes, shoe boxes stacked into the arms of five attendants who looked like they were carrying wedding dowries.

Finally, Nathan stood from where he’d been waiting—one hand casually in his pocket, the other holding Fiona’s purse for her as she shopped with Ella.

"Are you both done?" he asked.

Ella lifted her chin. "I am very satisfied."

"Good," Nathan said, voice smooth and terrifyingly calm. "Let’s pay."

## At the Counter

The manager practically sprinted behind the register, keying things in like his life depended on hitting every button correctly. The disgraced head saleswoman still knelt near the counter, head bowed, trembling

Nathan didn’t look at her again. That was punishnt enough—being ignored by the man she had offended.

The total amount popped up. Even Fiona blinked.

Ella looked proud.

Nathan didn’t flinch. Not even a muscle twitched. He simply slid his titanium card across the counter.

"Sir, please—please allow to discount—"

"Why?" Nathan asked calmly. "Because your staff insulted them? Charge it fully."

"Yes, sir," the manager said imdiately, bowing.

The machine beeped. Approved.

## Leaving the Store

Attendants practically scrambled to carry the bags out—four to six each, forming a comically long procession of luxury packaging as they followed Nathan, Ella, and Fiona toward the escalator.

Passersby stared openly. Ella lla strutted like a princess, this was the first ti she was experiencing ’life’ the good side of course "

Fiona wanted the ground to swallow her whole as Nathan held her but he didn’t care either way— his hand was lightly on Fiona’s waist, leading her with casual authority.

Outside the mall, the blue car was already waiting. The attendants loaded everything in the trunk and back seat until the car looked like it had been used to rob a designer warehouse.

When the last bag was placed inside, Nathan dismissed the staff with a cold nod. They bowed deeply, murmuring "Thank you, sir" like he owned the mall.

He opened the back door for Ella. She climbed in, still buzzing in triumph.

Fiona slid in next, Nathan shut the door and walked around to the other side.

## At Ella’s Apartnt

The car ride was filled with Ella’s comntary.

"You know," Ella said, crossing her legs smugly, "I feel healed. Physically, emotionally, financially."

"You weren’t financially injured," Fiona muttered.

"I was. My pride was financially injured, which is worse."

Nathan looked at Fiona through the rearview mirror. She pretended not to notice.

They reached Ella’s apartnt, and Nathan imdiately stepped out, opening the door for the girls. The mall attendants weren’t there, but Nathan and Fiona helped unload the mountain of purchases.

Ella’s eyes glead as she surveyed the pile spilling into her living room.

"Should we sort them?" Fiona asked.

"No. I want to stare at them first."

Nathan placed the last set of bags by the couch, straightening up. Ella leaned on the doorfra, grinning.

"Thank you, Nathan," she said with genuine gratitude. "Really."

He gave a brief nod. "Next ti soone speaks to you like that, call imdiately."

"I definitely will," Ella promised.

Fiona rolled her eyes at both of them.

Once everything was inside, Nathan dusted his hands lightly and turned to Fiona.

"I’ll pick you up when you’re ready," he said quietly. "Just call ."

Fiona nodded, and his gaze softened before he turned and walked back to the car.

Ella waited until he drove off before nudging Fiona with her elbow.

"So," she said with a smug smile, "your boyfriend is terrifying. I like him."

Fiona sighed. "Let’s just... sort these bags."

"No," Ella declared. "We sit. And we process. Because today—was iconic."

Fiona groaned, but she laughed too.

"Fiona..." Ella called gently and Fiona stared at her. "Yes?"

"Don’t you think you should tell Nathan what happened?" Fiona shot her a stare but she continued.

"I an, Nathan is a rare guy, let’s forget the fact that he’s rich. He loves you and can you really break his heart just like that?"

Fiona just stared blankly, Ella was right but could she risk it?

"Ella, you know I can’t do that"

"Right. It’s hard to choose but Nathan has power and authority and you just witnessed it. But the decision is yours, I won’t interfer and would support whatever decision you make"

"Now!" She continued changing the mood in the room..

"Let’s sort out this beautiful dresses. I’ll have to clear my wardrobe first though" She squeaked in excitent.

"I’ve never had this princess treatnt in my life!"
