"Hahaha..." He laughed wildly until a system prompt showed up.
[System Notification: Your physical body has been overburdened. Logging out forcefully!]
’Eh?’ Before Xu Feng could prehend the situation, he found his vision darkened.
"Hmm, what a powerful soul you have?"
"Interesting... this isn’t your first life."
"But now’s not the time for you to know about the event yet."

’Ugh, what are those voices?’ Xu Feng felt a pang in his head. He slowly opened his eyes, only to realize he was surrounded by people.
"You’re finally awake!"
The first to shout was Carmen, who quickly wrapped her arms around him.
As he was hugged by her, he looked confused and stared at the others.
"What’s going on, Veronica, Kai, Yi, Xin?" He asked.
In front of his left side was Zhao Kai alongside his sister, Zhao Xin, and his girlfriend, Lynette.
Then, on his right side were Veronica, Ning Yi, and his girlfriend, Catherine.
It was hard to even see these people all gathered together because of how busy they had been lately.
"What’s going on, you asked?" Zhao Kai was instantly ticked off. He lifted his sleeve and was about to give him a punch. He hadn’t forgotten about the punch that Xu Feng gave him, so now was his chance to retaliate in justification.
"Wait, Kai, your friend is still hospitalized technically." Lynette quickly held his arm and reasoned with him.
"This isn’t even the first time he got hospitalized!" Zhao Kai hissed, his eyes seemed to be burning in fury.
’Wait, what? Hospitalized?’ It was only now that Xu Feng started to look around his surroundings.
The same depressing white walls, and his hand was actually attached to some medical device linked to the oscilloscope reading machine. He was no doctor, so he had no idea what they were called.
"Why am I here?" He finally asked about the main concern.
He didn’t feel any lightheadedness or his body feeling heavy either.
"Are you seriously asking that?" Zhao Kai was once again about to throw hands at him.
"Look at your girl! She’s hugging you so tightly because of how scared she was!"
"Hmm?" Xu Feng wrapped his arm around Carmen’s waist, only to realize she was actually trembling.
It was as if she had gone through a horrific sight and was only relieved when she learned of his supposed awakening.
"How long have I been out cold for?" He asked. Now, some might be dense in their situation, but Xu Feng reckoned he was probably unconscious after seeing the system prompt.
Not to mention, there were also those weird voices earlier in his head.
"A few weeks!" Zhao Kai answered since no one else responded. Or more specifically, they doubted they had the right to scold Xu Feng.
Only one person had that right, but she was too emotional at the moment to even scold or speak up, which was Carmen.
"A few weeks??!" Sure enough, Xu Feng’s body jolted slightly. Was he out cold for that long?

He didn’t even think that much time had passed.
He embraced Carmen more tightly and apologized to her softly. "Sorry for making you worried."
Carmen didn’t respond, but her arms tightened, and her head nudged him harder.
When the others saw this scene, they could only swallow their disgust at the romantic act.
"Let’s give them some alone time." Veronica cleared her throat and said. Since Xu Feng didn’t show any signs of disfort, it goes to show that he was in pretty good health.
Nevertheless, they would go to a doctor to inform them of his awakening. But for now, they will give the couple some alone time.
Once everyone was gone, Carmen finally dared to lift her head up. Her eyes were red, clearly teary at some point.
"You’re so cruel." She used her fist and hit his chest a few times, albeit very lightly.
"What actually happened?" As much as Xu Feng wanted to inquire about the situation during his absence, he didn’t wish to rush things. He rubbed on her back gently and softly.
"Your gaming capsule issued an emergency alert. Ambulances arrived and spooked me terribly. When the gaming capsule opened, you were pletely out cold and unresponsive. There was almost no heartbeat sound either."
Soon, Carmen burst into tears again and banged her head on his chest.
That kind of memory was too traumatic for her.
She couldn’t even imagine how she managed to process that and went through the whole ordeal while the ambulance sent him to the hospital.
’Damn, hospital fees are expensive.’ Meanwhile, Xu Feng felt an aching pain in his heart. Nothing was more costly than medical fees, especially when an ambulance was used.
"Aren’t I alive and well now?" Xu Feng chuckled lightly and gave a light peck on her forehead. "This is probably related to the time when I fought the Tier 4 Demon Lord. You should know that cases of mental strain have happened occasionally with players in the Divine World."
"I don’t care... you’re not allowed to be this reckless again!" Carmen shouted. The gaming capsule had long issued warnings, according to the doctor, but he chose to disregard the warning and continued.
Even though the doctors said his condition was fine, she couldn’t feel secure.
After some more small talk and promises, Xu Feng was finally able to learn of the situation in the Divine World.
Two major events had happened.
The first thing was that Razor Nightmare Super Guild was officially banned, and Razor Technology imposed heavy sanctions on Vanguard.
The second thing was that the Colossuses’ invasion had been resolved, and the Divine World was still taking a long time to undergo its third major update.
"The end of colossuses... and I happened to miss it." Xu Feng sighed heavily.
Who could have imagined the person who pushed for the end would fail to witness the event happening?
"Is the guild still functioning fine?" He then asked, concerned about the sanctions imposed by Razor Nightmare.
"We’re fine." Carmen nodded and embraced him tightly once again.
"Veronica said our funds are still enough to sustain us for at least a few more months."
