With Carn admitting that she wouldn’t be able to kill Skylar in an instant, Xu Feng was glad about her judgnt.

"What kind of foolish person would focus on defense as an offensive mage?" Nicholas grumbled slightly.
"Apparently, ?" Skylar remained unaware and thought it was another aptitude test. So she answered it right away. Her answer nearly made Nicholas vomit a mouthful of blood.
"Please calm your emotions, Elder Nicholas." Xu Feng hurriedly stood up and suggested. "Players like Skylar are quite common, and they rarely have any proper guidance. It’s normal to see most of them being led astray by either their lack of knowledge or stubborn personality."
Finding his words reasonable, Nicholas nodded with a satisfied smile. "It seems like I need to modify the upcoming aptitude tests to cater to these eccentric people. Thank you for your advice, Junior. I’ll make sure to put in a few good words for you later on for the administrators."
"Junior is only speaking lightly. Elder Nicholas overpraised ." Xu Feng remained humble and refused to take much credit. Nevertheless, he was smiling from the inside.
It was the first ti Nicholas addressed him as Junior, which could be considered an increase in rapport status. Too bad that they were still within the trial, so the rapport status was still disabled. Otherwise, Xu Feng reckoned he might have soared straight to level 2.

"Simple. Greed and selfishness." Xu Feng chuckled softly. He dared to say such words aloud because he was certain that these people from Super Guilds were shrewder than the others. There was no way honest people could ever remain in the Super Guild, especially at high-ranking positions.
Of course, there were exceptions, and that was if they had connections to those at the top. But even then, such people tend to beco stepping stones for similar status people who are more ruthless and decisive than they are.
"Ugh, too complicated and too much politics." Carn frowned and rubbed her temples. The Super Guilds being described by Xu Feng were no different than real-life politics. It was just a bunch of hypocrites gathered together at the top and making many decisions that affect the lower people.
"Alright, I’ve said enough." Realizing that Carn’s emotion was about to explode from complicated sches, Xu Feng no longer discussed such topics.

"Shall we play so chess while we wait?" He asked.
"We can play chess?" She raised an eyebrow.
"It was added a while ago and has always been there. Just that nobody had ti to play so mini-gas."
"Huh, then why bother adding them?"
"For circumstances such as this." Xu Feng explained. "Do you think the player’s ntality can remain sane if they were constantly forced to wait for hours on nothing without anything to break their boredom?"
Upon hearing that, Carn found the explanation reasonable.
"Alright, but I’m a pro. If you play with , then you better not cry like a baby." Carn suddenly warned solemnly. Her eyes narrowed as she seed ready to decimate him in chess.
"Hah, chess is a complex ga that requires critical thinking." Xu Feng smirked and stretched his hands. "Maybe you would be the one crying, and I’ll be forced to console you."
"Shall we bet then?" She suggested and stretched her neck.
"Sure, how much?"
