Chapter 941: Rules
As Xu Feng and Carn made themselves comfortable while their surroundings were chaotic, so began to notice their carefreeness.
“Hmm, just who are those two that the Floral Branch recruited? They look so relaxed.”
“Who knows, but just the fact that they even brought chairs to sit says a lot.”
“Hah, the two of you are really ignorant. They’re probably people from the Vanguard Guild!”
“Damn, so it’s them!”
Heavy gossiping erged from the branches that hailed from Tornado, Lightning, and Darkness.
It could be said that the Vanguard Guild had been taking quite the attention lately. Not only did they sohow secure 2 slots for themselves, but they also caused nurous big events.
Only soone who lived under the rock wouldn’t know about them.
“Guild Leader, why is everyone staring at us?” Carn asked uncomfortably. She couldn’t even enjoy her snacks peacefully when she could sense multiple gazes locked on them.
“They notice how pretty you are and can’t stop staring at you.” Xu Feng chuckled and teased her.
One might think Carn would pout or be angry at the tease, but instead of doing so, she raised her chin 45 degrees.
“Heh, that’s a given. But just because I’m pretty doesn’t an they can get close to .” She said pridefully.
Her face had beco rather thick. Moreover, it was indeed a fact that she was pretty.
What was there to be angry about?
“Since you know that well, then just let them keep watching. What could they do besides using their eyes?”
“Alright, but if any fool wants to provoke , then don’t bla .”
“Relax, I doubt there would be anyone trying to cause a scene. Once everyone is in their respective affiliations, so of the leaders would step forward and establish rules.”
Sure enough, a few minutes later, a few groups of individuals walked to the center and gathered their attention.
“Ahem, I’m glad that everyone has made it here for the trial. I’m the Midnight Guild Representative, Midnight Crane. Although we have no idea what we’ll have to face in the trial, I hope that everyone can listen and obey the rules that our guilds have respectively constructed.” Midnight Crane announced loudly.
Once Midnight Crane finished speaking, he turned his attention to the remaining 5 people behind him.
Among them were soone that Xu Feng recognized, CarnageBound of Malefic Order Guild and Floral Witch of Cyclone Guild.
As for the remaining three, they soon introduced themselves and their respective affiliation to everyone.
Mistwalkers’ representative was a female nad Bloom, a Swordsman class.
Twilight’s representative was another female nad Skylar, an Arcane Mage class.
Lastly, it was Driftcore’s representative, a male nad Shaun, and an Assassin class.
Out of everyone’s introduction, it was clear that Driftcore received the lowest reception. After all, almost every mber here was part of the Super Guild, so their arrogance was a given.
Why would they bat an eyelid at so first-rate guild? Although it was stated Driftcore was close to a Super Guild’s status, that still didn’t an anything.
Being close to one and actually being one were two different concepts.
Not to ntion the other mbers, even Carn was too lazy to rember their nas much.
After their introduction, she had already forgotten most of them. She might have a Stealth Cloak on, but based on her posture and angle, almost everyone knew she wasn’t even looking at the front.
In fact, Xu Feng was also the sa as he casually retrieved so more snacks for Carn to sample. It wasn’t that he had no intention of rembering them, but he already morized them.
After all, the information that Evelyn gave him already included the representatives and their details. He got the full information because an hour later, he accepted her friend request as Cool Wind.
The Mirage Pendant item had long been upgraded by the advanced Fiona Forgefire, allowing him to reduce the cooldown tir. Additionally, he could now save usage slots to transform, which was very convenient.
To simplify, it had 3 usage slot charges, and once used, the charge would change to 2/3.
However, if Xu Feng happened to transform again within a ti limit, then the charge would still stay at 2/3.
Think of it as transferring between subway stations and buses. A person could pay a fee to use the subway, but after going outside and wanting to use the bus, the fee won’t be charged because it was considered the sa traveling process. It was recognized as transferring, so no fees would be imposed unless more than 3 hours went by.
Additionally, his alias’s ssage would be on a separate screen in his feature, without the need to transform.
The only reason he needed to transform in the first place was because he needed to accept her friend request as Cool Wind and establish a ssage contact. Otherwise, it wouldn’t work.
And at this mont, Xu Feng was on the verge of blocking Evelyn.
‘Why is she sending
a bunch of ssages?’ Frustrated, Xu Feng had already turned off the notification, but the red icon number continued to increase.
His main, Lin Feng’s ssage was 99
but that was because it had multiple people trying to contact him. The 99
didn’t co from the sa person.
But his Cool Wind’s ssage on the other hand had 99
and it all ca from the sa person.
As Xu Feng opened the ssage, he was dumbfounded.
Evelyn: Hey, I’m participating in the trial right now. I saw your Guild Leader Lin Feng at the Floral Branch.
Evelyn: Why aren’t you replying? I’m telling you that the rules are discrimination against those who joined from external factors.
Evelyn: Fine, I guess you really don’t care then. But the loot distribution and contribution score is going to be difficult for your Guild Leader to earn anything. Floral Witch isn’t going to vouch for them because the Cyclone Guild isn’t whole. But if you reply, then I can personally vouch for them to be exempt from the rules.
