Chapter 923: Training Hall

The Auction House was a vital part that connected multiple branches everywhere for players to gather and list their items to be bought out or to be bid for.

It could be considered the largest organization that makes a ton of money.

However, that was only because of its credibility and approval from the Aetheria Empire.

After all, not every Auction House operated under the sa jurisdiction.

Think of it like a fast food franchise. There was the headquarters which controlled most things, and then there were the fast food franchise branches.

Fast food franchise branches are individual business units operating under the sa brand na and standardized operating procedures.

They determined their own business model without intervention from the headquarters. But in return, they must pay a hefty fee to operate under their na brand as well as eting the criteria to beco eligible to beco a branch.

And currently, Xu Feng had already qualified the criteria to open a branch for himself. It was just that the hefty fees were way too demanding that Xu Feng refused to give in.

Moreover, he was in discussion with Jessica regarding the Auction House located in Star Falls City.

Thanks to the previous plight, the main headquarters had long given up on the branch, allowing the Adventure Association to take over.

Although the Auction House was still under the main headquarters, its influence had long been consud by the Adventure Association.

So long as Xu Feng managed to rope in a ton of rchants from his Haven Wind Town, he could build a bridge of connection to the Auction House located at Star Falls City.

It was unethical, but what could the main headquarters do?

Attempt to shut the Star Falls City’s Auction House branch down?

Sure, then they would risk losing out on all natural resources that hailed from Star Falls City.

‘I just want to see who would suffer more.’ Xu Feng actually prayed more than anything that the main headquarters would actually be that foolish to make that move.

Without the natural resources that had beco mainstream since the revitalization of Star Falls City, other cities would soon stagnate.

And once they learned the cause of it was because of the greed of the Auction House’s main headquarters, one could already imagine the pressure they would face.

“Guild Leader Lin Feng, are you still with us?” Gentle Wind suddenly asked aloud when Xu Feng was silent for a few minutes after pausing his words.

‘Eh, was I lost in my thoughts again?’ Xu Feng quickly snapped out of his wicked thoughts and returned to reality.

“What’s the matter, Guild Leader Gentle Wind?” He then asked, clearly not a bit ashad in admitting that he wasn’t paying attention.

Realizing that he was feigning ignorance, Gentle Wind sighed and pointed at another building that was constantly emitting so sound.

“Did you open the town in advance for other players already?” She questioned. It was clear that she would be imnsely disappointed and displeased if that was the case.

To join the town in advance, she even agreed to join his chamber of comrce.

anwhile, Xu Feng was amused that she was actually trying to figure out whether her bestie had co to the town in advance without doing anything.

Just from the absence of Zhao Xin in Gentle Wind’s group was enough to say that their relationship has beco quite complicated. Nevertheless, he had no intention of intervening in their friendship whatsoever.

Moreover, he didn’t let Zhao Xin or her Dark Legion Guild co in advance.

All he did was guarantee them an area to build their residence when the ti arose.

“You’re mistaken about sothing.” Xu Feng calmly said.

“Hmm?” Gentle Wind raised an eyebrow.

“Indeed, there are other players, but they aren’t outsiders.” He explained and pointed out that they were Vanguard Guild’s mbers.

Realization dawned upon her as she nodded in agreent.

Then she inquired, “Oh, can I greet them?”

“Sure, we might as well.” Xu Feng didn’t refuse and gladly complied with her request. At first glance, it seed that she accepted the explanation, but there were definitely doubts in her mind.

He didn’t need to care about the misunderstanding to form, but it was best to avoid it. Not to ntion, the building she was curious about was precisely the Training Hall that had been constructed.

The matter of the Training Hall was never intended to be concealed. In fact, it was going to be one of the major revenue-generating businesses in the town.

Of course, that didn’t an whatever his mbers were being trained on would be revealed to the public.

Soti later, Xu Feng guided them to a grand building—one that was even larger than the Auction House.

Gentle Wind’s eyes widened in shock at the grandeur of the building.

“Is this an arena?” While Gentle Wind was shocked, Iceheart stepped forward and inquired. She had been to so cities that offered an arena and recognized that this type of grandeur was synonymous with the arena.

However, she found it hard to believe that Xu Feng was capable of constructing an arena.

“Iceheart sure is knowledgeable.” Xu Feng casually remarked, which essentially shocked her deeply. “The arena is already ready, so do you want to give a test?”

“It can be used already?” Stunned, Iceheart glanced at him with a doubtful expression.

“Have you not heard the commotion?” Xu Feng mused and entered the building.

When the rest followed, they were soon entranced by the scene in front of them.

There were many battle stages with the Vanguard Guild emblem. They were either competing with each other or competing with magical beasts.

“No wonder why you said the Vanguard Guild doesn’t lack any manpower.” Gentle Wind muttered, her perspective of the Vanguard Guild shattered almost imdiately.

Not to ntion her, even Iceheart was startled and alard by the hidden power that the Vanguard Guild had concealed so deeply.

Seeing their expression, Xu Feng was pleased that the effect he sought was achieved. ‘This is only just the start.’
