Xu Feng already knew a lot of things and understood how to condense Energy Force. Therefore, he didn't have to face the struggles like the other participants.
As for Veronica, she was blessed with a high density of mana after transferring to Haven Wind Town.
Not to ntion, Xu Feng had subtly taught her a set of movents to practice when she ca to complain to him one day about the workload causing her to have large fatigue.
Since the administrative work was actually abundant and only Veronica was solely handling it, Xu Feng felt bad.
Thus, he decided to give her a unique set of movents that improved her body and health. But he never anticipated that she would have grasped the movent right away.
It was then that Xu Feng ca to a realization that Veronica might be equally talented as Carn.
Therefore, Xu Feng wanted to test his luck and see if he could help her feel a sense of connection with the Energy Force to shock the crowd and bait them into wanting to join his guild.
Thankfully, the sche worked wonderfully and Xu Feng knew he managed to bag a ton of good slaves—mbers to the guild.
anwhile, Veronica was still bedazzled with herself and stared at her palms.
Although she couldn't control the so-called Energy Force, she was able to sense it sowhat.
"This is amazing. I didn't know the technique in the Divine World could affect
like this." She exclaid, completely surprised by the result. Since Xu Feng had kept her in the dark about the matter, her reaction was completely genuine.
And it was precisely because of that the other participants beca convinced or at least very positive that their guild's technique had such a miraculous effect.
"I want to join your guild, but I must get to learn that mysterious technique!"
No one knew who shouted their desire to join the guild, but as soon as it ca out, many participants soon followed up and clamored their eagerness.
Previously, Xu Feng had already explained that their contract doesn't clash with their real life. In other words, they could still continue to participate in the City Competition while managing so of their ti for the Divine World to learn the mysterious technique for improvent.
The outco would be like killing two birds with one stone. Only a fool would disregard it and let such an opportunity go.
"Everyone can relax." Before the commotion erupted into chaos, Xu Feng quickly raised his hand to calm the crowd.
"We will gladly take everyone but you already know the drill. A contract must be signed, especially confidentiality because mysterious techniques aren't easily obtained. My companion here will explain the details to you."
His declaration was firm and stern. Despite this, none of the participants found it weird or abnormal. In fact, they felt that it was only right for the mysterious techniques to require so strict confidential contract.
Otherwise, they would have believed it was a scam. There were no such things as free lunch in this world unless one was a holess person and t an influencer who donated food for clouts and viewerships.
Ti quickly went by and Veronica was grinning from ear to ear from the sudden influx of people wanting to be recruited.
anwhile, inside the inspection site, the three judges who were judging and rating the participants beca confused by the situation.
Inspection Site, Room 1
"Didn't we agree to allow at least 10 participants to be here at the sa ti to test them? Why are there only like 3-5 participants?" A fellow judge raised the question with a baffled look.
"It's only been a little bit over half an hour since we started. There's no way we have these little participants, right?" Another judge chid in.
"I've checked the online registration and we have a bit over 10,000 people eager to sign up. So even if half of those are fakes, we should still have an influx of at least 2000." The third judge shook their head, clearly confused by the situation.
Soon, their eyes shifted to Qin Xiaobo, who had personally gone out when so complaints were made and how the participants were attempting to bla their shortcomings on external factors.
Naturally, the judges paid no heed to these excuses.
As a fighter, if one couldn't even remain focused and allowed themselves to be distracted, then they were simply inadequate. Nevertheless, they still sent Qin Xiaobo out, lest an issue might arise.
"Xiaobo, are you sure everything is well and fine outside?" The first judge asked in concern.
Qin Xiaobo was silent for a mont. 'It couldn't be that serious, right?'
When he recalled his questions to Xu Feng, and how the latter responded earnestly, the other participants were eavesdropping on them.
Initially, he didn't bother much, but when he saw the new participants entering, they seed distracted. It was as if they didn't wish to be here yet and wanted to do sothing else.
What could possibly be more important than being accepted as a fighter for the upcoming City Competition?
"I'm not sure either…" In the end, Qin Xiaobo could only report the incident honestly.
Sure enough, the judges beca annoyed and enraged that such a matter was concealed from them.
"Hmph, so so fighter from an unknown city ca here to poach, but you just let it be?" The first judge raised their brows and asked in disbelief. They clearly couldn't believe Qin Xiaobo would be that foolish.
"They're not here to poach for the city competition." Qin Xiaobo explained.
"They're here to poach for so video ga guilds. And truthfully, we have no laws or jurisdictions against that." He added, reminding the judges that what they were doing wasn't illegal.
"I don't care!" The first judge rebuked and stated, "If we just let anybody recruit them right under our watch—even if it ant it was for sothing else. Then wouldn't everyone start taking advantage of the loophole?"
"Agreed, people would start disrupting us on purpose in the future if we let this slide." The second judge agreed with the first judge's opinion.
As for the third judge, he didn't say anything but stood up, clearly intending to go out and stop this farce.
'Ugh, this is going to beco a ss.' Seeing the other two judges quickly follow suit, Qin Xiaobo realized he should have just kept quiet.
