The crowd was stunned on the spot when Xu Feng suddenly suggested joining a guild—the sa thing as Veronica had done earlier.

"Ah, so those two were affiliated from the start?"

"What else? Did you really think soone was going to intervene out of chivalry?"

"How could you sar the term chivalry as a fighter. You are a disgrace."

Amidst their loud commotion gradually increasing, Qin Xiaobo beca annoyed at them.

"Silence!" He turned around and roared in fury. "Those who continue to make a commotion shall be disqualified!"

Once the threat was made, the crowd quickly turned silent. In the anti, Qin Xiaobo returned his focus to Xu Feng.

"I'm tied with a contract, so I can't join your guild." He responded. Now that Xu Feng had proven himself with skills, Qin Xiaobo's tone subsequently changed as well. After all, he disliked arrogant people who had no skills or only used their background as leverage.

anwhile, Xu Feng was curious and confused. "Does your contract involve you not being allowed to join any virtual reality ga?"

"..."

Qin Xiaobo scratched his head and responded, "No, I'm just not allowed to be affiliated with other cities. They wouldn't be pouring their resources to

if I wasn't exclusive to Lumora City."

Realization quickly dawned upon Xu Feng. Just like the nurous fighters, Qin Xiaobo lacked the concept that the Divine World was separated from the real world. To summarize, they were different entities, so any contract wouldn't be binding on them.

It was the sa vice versa unless they were ticulous like him who blocked anyone from trying to betray the guild whether it was in the real world or Divine World.

As Xu Feng spent a few minutes clarifying how their guild wouldn't restrict or hinder his participation as a fighter, Qin Xiaobo went into deep thought.

"I see… but I'll still need ti to think it over." Qin Xiaobo said softly.

"That's a given." Nodding Xu Feng didn't mind that he would need ti to brood it over.

"You can snap a picture on the pamphlet here and ssage us whenever you decide to enter the Divine World." He then said, gesturing for Veronica to co over with the pamphlet in her hand.

Soti later, Qin Xiaobo warned them to keep their action down a notch and not be so openly near the inspection site. In hindsight, it was a silent approval to allow them to continue their recruitnt—albeit more discreetly to prevent the participants from using them as an excuse.

"I shall return now." Qin Xiaobo said flatly and left without bothering to wait for a response. The truth was that he had been motivated to train even harder.

After all, he was now wary of the city behind Xu Feng. For a city to be able to keep soone like Xu Feng hidden was definitely no simple city.

'I'll need to up the fighter's training routine and make sure we won't get swept up by the dark horse.' Qin Xiaobo thought to himself.

Shortly after Qin Xiaobo's presence was no more, Veronica finally breathed out a sigh of relief.

"When were you an Energy Force Fighter, Feng?" She quickly turned her attention to him and asked curiously. It ca as a complete shock to her that he was actually one. Even more so when she witnessed how smooth and at ease he was when confronting the other Energy Force fighter.

"Well, it just happened." Xu Feng shrugged. "The guild's training in the Divine World was what made

enter it. I didn't even know how it happened, but the Boss said it was the training thod and routine given to ."

As soon as Xu Feng finished his explanation, there was a slight glint in his eyes. After all, the other participants who were still lining up to sign up had their ears all perked up.

They initially thought Xu Feng was just babbling nonsense. But once they noticed Xu Feng slightly taught a few moves for Veronica to learn, her aura quickly changed.

Given that Veronica had been exposed to the Divine World and received a lot of resources. Xu Feng was able to let her feel a sense of Energy Force.

Naturally, the other participants had also discerned Veronica was just an ordinary human.

Therefore, they were completely stunned and baffled when they saw Veronica displaying an aura that was unique to an Energy Force fighter.

"Holy smokes, she actually beca one?" One of the participants exclaid in disbelief.

"What the hell did I just witnessed?" Another one chid in and rubbed their eyes repeatedly. "She really is an Energy Force fighter now?"

"What did I spend my ti on?"

"Why did I even train that hard?"

Almost imdiately, the participants' ntality was nearly shattered by the unbelievable sight.

Energy Force was not sothing you could just fake.

It had to be real and even if you tried to transfer the Energy Force, each person had their own uniqueness. It was similar to how a person's DNA and fingerprint were solely unique by themselves.

anwhile, Veronica was astonished by the result.

"Are you so kind of top-tier expert?" She widened her eyes and questioned skeptically.

"Nah, I'm considered to be slightly better than an amateur." Xu Feng shook his head and put on an exhausted expression.

"The Boss said my aptitude was terrible and wondered why I only reached this pathetic level after a month of training."

THUD!

In the blink of an eye, those who had focused heavily on Xu Feng's conversation started to plop to the ground one by one. They were completely speechless and dazed to hear that he got to this level after a month's work.

From the mont they were able to walk and talk. They had undergone nurous training and a strict diet to beco an Energy Force fighter.

How could they feel fine when soone else beca one? That too being greater than them by doing none of their past work and only taking a month!

What was worse was that he claid to be pathetic?

If he was pathetic, then what were they worth!

'Heh, this is going to be a good gain.' Xu Feng thought to himself when he sensed their reaction. Technically, it really took him a month's work in this current tiline so it wasn't a complete lie.
