Chapter 806: Lumora City

Shortly after the remaining people in the eting room at Green Life Corp made their exit, Sylvan turned to Tess and began questioning details about the Divine World.

"Is the ga really that fun?" He asked skeptically.

"It's not just a ga, President." Tess smiled and shook her head.

"The imrsion in the Divine World is just like living in another world. The experience is surreal and one would have lost their sense of reality if it weren't for the system interface." She continued, ntioning how one could easily forget they weren't in the real world when playing.

Startled, Sylvan's expression beca intrigued. He had nurtured and trained Tess for a long ti. There was never a ti when he could see Tess enjoying sothing this much.

"Is that so…" Sylvan uttered and furrowed his brows. "Should I give it a try as well? But I'm afraid my physical condition would be a burden to play."

He wasn't interested in VRMMORPG, but that didn't an he was ignorant about it. He had heard about how virtual reality imrsion was at a different level. Even those with disabilities and paralyzed people could join with a perfectly fine condition.

However, his body was healthy and didn't have those illnesses. Rather, what he had was just his age creeping upon him. Despite the dical advancent and even the amazing creation of Life Water, enabling him to live more than 250 years, he could feel his body being inferior to the youngster.

His major concern was that his body would remain the sa and moving too much would be exhausting for him.

"Your concern is invalid, President." Tess suddenly spoke up and held a stern expression. "In the Divine World, players get to have mana. Although I don't know why or how it happens, the Divine World's mana is like a life force that enables players to move very freely. I've heard even old people at the age of 300 years and above could enjoy it."

"Ages up to 300?" Alard, Sylvan was surely taken aback. He never thought people older than him were actually playing the Divine World.

anwhile, Tess noticed it was finally her chance to convince him to join the Divine World.

"Yes, President. Those people not only beca more lively and healthy after gaming but it was said that they regained their lost vigor. Nowadays, even dical institutions are recomnding people to play the Divine World."

"dical institutions? How co I'm not inford about it?"

Green Life Corp was sothing that promoted health, so it was a given that they had collaborated with nurous dical institutions.

Yet he never heard from them once about the Divine World.

Thus, he rely thought it was just another crazed and trendy ga that would soon die out from the passage of ti.

Tess flashed a bittersweet smile in response, keeping her thoughts. 'President is never interested in video gas and always gets annoyed when people talk about it. Of course, those people wouldn't dare to bring the topic up to you.'

Shaking her head, Tess soon received a report from the guards that Xu Feng had arrived at their floor. The guards were waiting for her to permit them to let Xu Feng enter.

That way, it would prevent the cliche and awkward monts such as suddenly barging in and accidentally listening or seeing sothing they shouldn't.

Soti later, the guards opened the door and stepped to the side. They made way for Xu Feng to enter without any intention of entering themselves.

As Xu Feng arrived at the eting room, his eyes quickly darted around.

"Not bad for a company in the top 1000." Xu Feng mused and lightly comnted.

"It's just a pity that a company of this level could make such a foolish mistake." He continued, instantly causing the atmosphere to turn tense.

Tess's expression frowned slightly and Sylvan remained quiet. Although Sylvan understood how big of a ss Frederick left behind, he didn't expect the opposing party to co at him from the get-go.

In such a situation, one should usually exchange pleasantries, followed by so fake conversation before moving to the actual topic. To make such a move from the start, ant that the opposing party had no intention of staying for long.

Having understood this, Sylvan made eye contact with Tess, signaling for her to make haste.

Tess received the signal and quickly cleared her throat. "Mister Feng, I've heard of your achievent in the Divine World. It's an honor to et you in the real world."

"My achievent?" Amused, Xu Feng casually took a seat and smiled lightly. "I have no achievent, miss. If I had them, then I wouldn't have been ambushed and nearly made a fool of for my guild."

Tess' body tensed up slightly upon hearing such a sarcastic remark.

'It's all Frederick's fault.' She cursed silently, unable to determine Xu Feng's motive.

anwhile, Xu Feng kept his gaze on Sylvan. His motive for coming here was very simple. He wanted to let Green Life Corp understand the severity and how he could easily ruin them further.

Ever since Xu Feng had successfully interrogated KaleSalad in the city's prison regarding his cri, he was quite astonished by the information.

Initially, KaleSalad ignored him and refused to talk. That was until Xu Feng caused him to have his prison duration extended to 3 months. Having realized the extended prison ti, the latter finally caved and told him everything he needed.

It was then that Xu Feng was surprised that Green Life Corp was actually in the dark and the mission was secretly commanded by Frederick— Chief of External Developnt.

He was not the type to go after people randomly like a madman, but that didn't an he would forgive Green Life Corp easily.

After all, it was precisely their lack of surveillance that allowed Frederick to act behind their backs.

In other words, the fault still belonged to Green Life Corp.

Therefore, he had to thank Carn. Otherwise, he couldn't have gotten a flight to co all the way here personally to the Green Life Corp headquarters at Lumora City. He had no plans to push them all the way to their end unless they failed to satisfy him.

'If they dare to act innocent, then I'll let them stay innocent while being punished in both the real world and the Divine World.' Xu Feng thought.
