Chapter 773: Colossus No More

Carn had the look of disdain on her face, and it was very naturally detected by Gentle Wind and the rest.

The tension between them rose and it seed as if a small lighter would instantly ignite the explosive powder in the scene.

Thankfully, that didn't happen when Xu Feng arrived promptly at the scene.

Initially, he would have arrived earlier but he needed to fix his appearance and recover so of his health points.

"Everyone take a step back." Xu Feng suddenly said and announced, "I've received words from our Guild Leader that he had brought reinforcent over to help resolve the crisis faster."

"Reinforcent?" Astonished, Gentle Wind stared at Carn.

Despite the news already circulating about Carn's prowess, the truth was that those on the battlefield had no ti to pay attention to it. They needed to give their utmost effort to suppress the monsters before them.

So where would they have the ti to check on the stream or ga forum about it?

"Yup, the Guild Commander Lunar Wraith is the reinforcent. The rest of you can just suppress the regular monsters and let her handle the Colossus." Xu Feng nodded.

And before the others could disagree, he turned his attention to Gentle Wind.

"You can check on the various streams and the ga forum. I doubt you would have any objections once you see what's in there." He calmly said.

Although he only told Gentle Wind, the others very naturally followed suit and checked what was going on.

Sure enough, their expressions quickly changed. So beca pale, others beca petrified, and so astonished.

All different types of expression could be seen on their face, but one thing was for certain.

They were all alard by the performance displayed by Carn.

This was especially true for those who were of Summoner Class. When they compared themselves to Carn, they nearly wanted to dig a hole and hide in it.

"Just what kind of monster did the Vanguard Guild recruit?" Gentle Wind furrowed her brows and realized the gap between them was trendous.

For the rged Colossus to be treated like a re punching bag was astounding already. But to think it wasn't even done by Eclipse Nova was another level.

Everyone had already witnessed Eclipse Nova's might, but they certainly failed to realize Lunar Wraith's might as well wasn't limited to just players.

"What should we do now, Guild Leader Gentle Wind?" Night Coin suddenly snickered and asked her.

Having been forced to relegate the authority to her earlier.

He sure was taking in joy that the authority she snatched was now being threatened. Not to ntion, it was being done by a crazy strong player who could demolish a new type of Colossus.

anwhile, Gentle Wind kept a calm composure and ignored Night Coin's provocation.

She nodded and agreed to let Carn handle the Colossus. "I shall leave the matter to Guild Commander Lunar Wraith."

"But Guild Leader?"

"Are we really letting her take over?"

Almost as soon as she made her choices, so of her guild mbers expressed their discontent. They had worked so hard, but once they had the situation under control. Soone else decided to just swoop in and take over.

Just how could they accept it?

Xu Feng kept quiet about the matter and Carn didn't even seem interested in hearing so people's dissatisfaction.

Only Gentle Wind herself was less than pleased to hear her guild mbers openly express their emotions.

"Enough!" Gentle Wind raised her voice and glared at the few who dared to object to her decision.

A second later, Steelshot suddenly chid in and supported Gentle Wind's decision. "The Guild Leader already made her decision, and that's final."

"Agreed. The Colossus is not just the only threat but the other monsters that are still being held back by the other tanks. With our help, their pressure would lessen." SilentWhisper also stepped in and explained the circumstances.

As they had already been reprimanded heavily in the past for questioning her judgnt in public, they were clever enough to not disagree with her anymore.

Although Gentle Wind had yet to say anything, these two knew that those who openly raised their discontent were going to be punished afterward. All of this was all thanks to the Vanguard Guild Leader, Lin Feng.

Ever since Lin Feng made so comntary on her leadership, Gentle Wind was no longer the sa gentle as it was in her na.

"Since I got permission, I shall clean this up," Carn comnted and summoned her voidlings to swarm against the Colossus. This ti, the speed was even quicker, given that it wasn't special like the rged Colossus.

When the onlookers witnessed this unbelievable scene with their very own eyes, they were all rendered speechless.

"Good thing we're allies." Night Coin twitched his brows and uttered. He refused to be an enemy of the Vanguard Guild for no reason.

'I seriously can't understand why MIST still wants to provoke such a monster.' He wondered silently. Their leader must definitely be high on drugs to even ss with her.

"Night Coin, let's rearrange so of the positions to blockade the monsters." Gentle Wind called out.

"Got it!" Night Coin snapped out of his daze and nodded.

Soti later, the two major guilds made their way to other openings to assist the remaining mbers, completely leaving the Colossus for Carn to handle.

Only one person remained and that was Autumn Breeze.

"So, care to tell

how you managed to recruit such a monster, Mister Honorary Elder?" Autumn Breeze asked, her eyes staring at Carn who easily bodied the crap out of the Colossus.

"Luck." Xu Feng replied coolly. Indeed, it was luck that made him encounter her. He had never held the thought of possibly recruiting her, given the difference in their gap was too large to even be calculated.

"Tsk, keep withholding then." Autumn Breeze rolled her eyes.

"With her presence, the Colossus are no more in this region." She continued.

Most of the sieges, whenever the Colossus noticed they were losing. They would order a retreat and escape unscathed. However, that would be a dream in front of soone like Carn.
