Shortly after being assigned specific tasks in each of their roles by Xu Feng, the rest soon regained their composure as they started to salvage the grim situation.
Naturally, the process was easier said than done, but thanks to Carn leaping down to the actual battlefield, the situation turned for the better.

Starting it off was Voidcaller’s Rift. Carn summoned an Elentalist before sending it to the void. The void then grew larger in size as it started pulling in the Elite Enemies who wanted to chase after the DPS classes from cleansing the lava terrain.
The Elite Enemies who were within range were caught, sustaining heavy dark damage in the process. Aside from that, they were also slowed, reducing their movent and attack speed significantly.
The DPS classes who wanted to turn around and assist Carn after her crowd control skill worked, were quickly halted by Carn herself.
With her hands raised, Carn explained, "Don’t worry about
and do what the Raid Leader had assigned to you. I’ll handle these Elite Enemies myself."
Hesitation initially appeared on their faces, but soon, they decided to nod their heads in agreent and allow Carn to face them alone. After all, the confident tone and her current deanor were no worse than Xu Feng’s.
As Carn was about to begin her next moves, she found nurous icons appearing on her status screen.
’Raid Leader?’ Stunned, Carn recognized those icons, and when she hovered over them, it inford her the creator was indeed Xu Feng.
Despite knowing it was him, she also knew Xu Feng didn’t actually have his attention placed on her. He simply buffed her in an accurate and tily manner.
The Voidcaller’s Rift was a great crowd control and damage-dealing skill, but the mana consumption was extrely high. Yet because of Xu Feng’s buff, her mana recovery rate improved significantly, allowing her to cast her next spell.
"I didn’t even get a chance to show him my skills and he already knows my kits," Carn murmured in amusent. She wondered silently if there was sothing that Xu Feng didn’t know. At the sa ti, she couldn’t help but ponder how powerful the library was.
Could the libraries truly contain that much information?
Carn wouldn’t lie that she was tempted to scour all the books in the city’s libraries and learn all the information.
Of course, it was just a montary temptation, and Carn was positive that Xu Feng must have studied a lot to get to his stage.
She shook her head and proceeded to unleash a concentrated surge of void energy in a straight line, dealing heavy damage to all the slowed enemies.
The enemies that got hit were subsequently marked with the "Void Mark
