Taken by surprise, many players started to panic and felt nervous by their top DPS being embroiled in a chaotic molten explosion.

At the sa ti, they saw nurous players grayed out in the team list, with players plopping to the ground.

However, the most surprised individual was actually Xu Feng.

’Oh, Gentle Wind actually survived and didn’t die?’ Startled, Xu Feng was positive that she was going to die once for ranking so high in the Damage Output.

By theory, she should have been One Shot by the damage reflection, considering her health points weren’t big enough to cover all the damage she had dealt.

While he was shocked by her survival, he beca more perplexed when there was actually another individual who didn’t die.

"Zhao Xin?" This ti, Xu Feng was truly astounded to see Autumn Breeze still retaining so health points. Although it was indeed possible to survive, they required special items that prevented a One Shot Death.

It was indeed baffling for not one, but two people of the sa affiliation to actually have a special item that could prevent them from being killed in one shot.

Despite the astonishnt though, Xu Feng kept his cool and quickly commanded the rest to form a defensive line.

"The Boss is really tricky. I didn’t expect it to have that kind of move. Tanks and Clerics start working together to revive the fainted DPS." Xu Feng shouted, feigning innocence at the situation.

He then leaped to another platform and began reviving the nearby DPS belonging to the Lunar Strikers Adventure Team. And one of them happened to be their leader, Moon Arrow.

As her na suggested, she was technically a Gunner, so her Damage Output was within the Top 20. And she didn’t have any plot armor either, so she was swiftly killed by the damage reflection done by the Sentinel.

By the ti she was revived, Moon Arrow still hadn’t comprehended the fact that she had died once already.

"Eh, what was that molten core?" Moon Arrow asked in confusion, seemingly trying to communicate with her mbers, only to notice Xu Feng standing next to her.

"Raid Leader?" With an eyebrow raised, she was startled by his sudden appearance. When did he get here without her sensing it?

Noticing that their Team Leader was confused, Cold Flare mustered up his courage and stepped toward them nervously. Having been in close proximity with Xu Feng, the latter finally felt the imnse pressure exuding from him.

’Damn, this kind of pressure is even worse than the Team Leader.’ Cold Flare thought to himself before whispering to Moon Arrow about what had happened.

A few seconds later, Moon Arrow twitched the corner of her eyelid and turned to Xu Feng.

"18 people, including , were killed in an instant? How did that happen?" She questioned him with a disbelief expression.

How was it possible that they were all simultaneously killed?

What did they possibly miss or do to result in their death?

Feigning innocence, Xu Feng sighed softly. He then explained, "It appears that on the Damage Output list, the top 20 players were sohow targeted."

"Then how did two other players survive?" Moon Arrow squinted her eyes, finding the situation oddly suspicious.

"I supposed they have so protection item that safeguards them from being killed in one shot." Xu Feng casually clarified. "Even I’m taken aback that the Divine World had implented such perverse design. But it’s not the end of the day since the DPS are gradually being revived and the Tanks are still doing their job."

Still skeptical of the situation, Moon Arrow felt that sothing was amiss despite the sincerity and tone coming out of Xu Feng.

However, she didn’t get a chance to ask further when she felt a loud tremor within the platform she was on. It wasn’t just her who had felt it, but nurous more, and Xu Feng was startled by this upcoming event.

’Seriously? A 10% chance of triggering actually occurred in my raid?’ Xu Feng frowned at the situation.

Without hesitation, he quickly hopped back to the higher platform and scrutinized the surroundings.

Sure enough, from a high altitude, Xu Feng noticed the molten core that had erupted earlier, creating a chain explosion, started to affect the terrain itself.

Lava started flowing down like regular river water and caused a sizzling sound on the platform.

The players that were near the lava, felt their equipnt falling drastically in terms of durability. Their health points also decreased significantly, with a status ailnt, Burn icon on their status screen.

The Burn Icon, when hovered, stated the player would continuously have their health decreased to the intense heat and remain for 1 minute.

Aside from the burning effect that drains players’ health points, their movent and damage were also affected by the intense heat.

"Don’t get too close to the lava!" Lanceroy, who had been revived since his heroic deed, shouted to the other Tanks regarding the danger of being affected by the Burn.

With the warning from Lanceroy, almost everyone started to scurry away from the lava area.

However, they quickly ca to a realization that the space available to them had been shrunk by a large margin.

It was already hard to navigate and move around during the platform being raised high and low, but now they must also avoid the affected lava terrain.

Just how were they supposed to fight under such a condition?

Amidst the dreadful environnt and players’ hopelessness, Xu Feng’s voice resounded to them. Explore stories on Freewebnovel

"Tanks, continue to remain in the front and do your best to receive the attack from the Sentinel. The Clerics shall continuously heal you. DPS Classes, you are to start removing the lava terrain with the Cleansed Water obtained from the Cracked Fountain." Xu Feng leaped down to the lower platform and officially joined the fight in a head-to-head against the Golem Sentinel.

"Those with the Burn Icon, raise your free hand while continuing to shield the upcoming attack. I’ll start buffing you." He exclaid.
