Unlike the poor players who couldn't even afford to waste their hard-earned gold coin, Xu Feng had no qualms about injecting one right off the bat.
Ti was even more important than one gold coin in his mind.
And it wouldn't take long for so impatient players to find out that one could pay in advance to enter the Divine World faster. After all, they would definitely be bored to death and ssing around with the system prompt that showed their queue number.
However, by then, Xu Feng would have already been smooth sailing.
Of course, the lucky ones who had a single digit in their queue number should have entered the Divine World already.
After the brief darkness of the logging-in process, Xu Feng appeared in the hotel room. He took a glance around and noticed the furniture and walls were still sparkling clean.
"That's a good sign." He mumbled, knowing that Paradise Plains had successfully fended off the invasion.
Exiting the room, Xu Feng noticed there were many people in the lobby and drinking beers. For a second there, he had thought he was at a tavern or a bar and not a hotel.
'Are they celebrating here?' Confused, Xu Feng sneakily and smoothly walked toward one of the group to eavesdrop.
"Hahaha, those monsters are really a bunch of buffoons!"
"I know right. How dare those low-life monsters even attempt to attack Paradise Plains?"
"Hmph, so what if they had the nurical advantage? Our Professionist equipnt and utilities easily blasted them apart!"
"Hahahah!"
'Low-life monsters? Nurical advantage?' Xu Feng was taken aback when he heard them. Based on his recollection, Siege of the Colossus did not rely on their nurical advantage, but rather their individual strength to cause chaos in nurous areas to distract and weaken their enemies.
Without further ado, Xu Feng decided to enter the group by retrieving 10 silver coins and yelled out, "Over here, please bring another batch of quality beers for these heroes."
The hotel beers were expensive, with each batch consisting of only 6, but Xu Feng was willing to spend money to gather information. NPCs were like humans, and by offering to give them a drink, they would start treating you as one of them and willingly share the information.
Sure enough, the group of people started laughing and giving a spot for Xu Feng to sit.
"Hahaha, young man, I can tell you are quite powerful with the mana you exude." One of the n laughed heartily and chugged a beer.
"Hehe, I'm not as amazing as you sounded, Sir." Xu Feng smiled and shook his head. "I was stuck in the utilities production site so I couldn't even go on the frontline to see what the monsters were. Compared to you, I'm just a useless person."
"Don't say that, young man." They quickly exclaid. "Your utility's production was a big help against those Kobolds who seed to be on steroids or sothing."
"Kobolds on steroids?" Astonished, Xu Feng didn't expect the invasion to be coming from Kobolds. Your journey continues at empire
"Mhmm, they're not the regular Kobolds that looked stupid. It's like they had undergone mutation and we dubbed them as Stoneclaw Kobolds and Ember Kobols." One of them explained and proceeded to describe their appearance.
According to them, Stoneclaw Kobolds are stocky and covered in a rough, pebbly hide that resembles cracked stone, giving them a natural camouflage in rocky terrain.
Their skin ranges from shades of gray to deep slate, with veins of mineral-like streaks running across their bodies, making them blend seamlessly with the rocky caves they inhabit.
anwhile, the Ember Kobolds are a fiery variant of the typical kobold, distinguished by their affinity with flas and heat.
These creatures are smaller and leaner, but their scales shimr like smoldering coals, ranging from deep crimson to dark charcoal with glowing ember-like patches scattered across their bodies. The tips of their tails and fingers often flicker with small, harmless flas, and their eyes burn with a fierce, orange glow, like molten lava.
"Are there any clues as to why they were trying to invade the city?" Xu Feng furrowed his brows and asked. Such variants were truly shocking, and even he was dumbfounded to hear there were multiple kinds of Kobolds appearing at this stage of the ga.
"We don't know." One of the n said. He was about to shake his head until he recalled sothing. "Oh wait, they did ntion about poison and bad humans."
"Yeah, I don't even know why they were shouting poison when we were hacking them with our axes and swords." Another chid in.
Instantly, Xu Feng's face twitched, and wondered if Carn had truly jinxed him.
'Seriously? When did the underground monsters beco Kobolds?' He was positive that it was another monster species.
Nevertheless, he didn't dwell on it much longer as he asked for the most crucial piece of information. "What about Colossus? Are there any sightings of them?"
The man who had been answering diligently while drinking his beer raised an eyebrow in confusion.
"Colossus? Young man, have you been imagining things too much from working a lot at your production site? If there were a Colossus, then none of us would have been here drinking rrily."
"Haha, young n these days are really imaginative."
As the group started laughing at the humorous question, they continued to imrse themselves in drinking whereas Xu Feng subtly left them alone.
'The Major Update is about Colossus, but the Paradise Plains incident wasn't related to it. I supposed the tiline really didn't change much from my mory.' Xu Feng began to ponder silently about where the danger was looming.
Initially, he thought he would have a clue after logging in, but it was clear that the incident in Paradise Plains was related to his glitch exp exploit.
Amidst his dazedness, Xu Feng suddenly received a ssage from Crimson Heart, informing him to go to Yaren's office.
"Forget it, I'll find so clues for it later on." Xu Feng finished reading the ssage and decided to clean up his business at Paradise Plains first.
