After the joyous adventure in alleviating Carn's mood, the two start to head toward Apex Tower.

Within the Apex Tower was an office where Xu Feng and Ning Yi worked together. It was still under renovation, but Xu Feng had inford Ning Yi that he wished to inspect it and asked the workers to temporarily leave.

And with Ning Yi still busy in his pursuit, the matter was easily handled.

"This tower is quite fancy." Carn glanced at the skyscraper and comnted. "Are we going to et with OneMandia here?"

"Mhmm, and I need you to keep one thing a secret." Xu Feng nodded and said cautiously.

"What secret?" Confused, Carn raised an eyebrow. "Is there sothing that he does not know?"

In her mind, she thought OneMandia was another core mber, given he was able to leak hints of the Vanguard guild operation and thods.

Without permission, Carn seriously doubted OneMandia would have the courage to reveal such information.

Xu Feng walked closer to her and whispered to her ears, "So far, only you and Shadow Blade know I'm Lin Feng in the ga. OneMandia does not know and I'm using another ID, Cool Wind, to et with him."

Startled and astonished, Carn's eyes widened after hearing it. 'Cool Wind and not Lin Feng?'

She had long known that there were people who used different aliases, given that alternate accounts are impossible to create under the strict regulation of the system.

However, she didn't expect Xu Feng to have other aliases for other guild mbers.

Through their interaction today, she learned Xu Feng's in-ga na Lin Feng wasn't his real na, but Xu Feng. That was understandable since not many would use their real na as a userna.

Yet now she had been inford that other than Lin Feng, Xu Feng also used the alias Cool Wind.

"Just what other aliases do you have, Guild Leader?" Carn asked in astonishnt.

"Shh, call

Wind for now." Xu Feng placed a finger on his mouth, seemingly telling her to be careful.

Carn pursed her lips and remained helpless.

"Wait a minute, is the so-called boss of yours also one of your aliases, Wind?" She suddenly had an enlightennt and questioned.

"That's impossible." Xu Feng laughed and said, "Cool Wind is done using anonymous ID to ssage others. But the boss ID is literally highlighted and we all know one can't falsify their ID na in the ssage."

Although still sowhat suspicious, Carn also couldn't pinpoint what was wrong. After all, Xu Feng does have a point that if the boss' ID na was displayed when ssaging them.

"But I never got a ssage from the boss," Carn argued.

"Once the major update is finished, the boss will send a welco ssage to you. After all, you could be considered the newest and latest mber of our guild." Xu Feng responded.

With that said, Carn lost all possible argunts to counter back. "Fine, then let's hurry up and et with OneMandia."

Nodding, Xu Feng quickly guided the way. Simultaneously, he sent a ssage to Zhao Kai that if he wanted his help, then he must ensure his identity remained unknown.

The usage of aliases was to remain mysterious, but most importantly. It was to throw their enemy off-guards, ensuring they would be hard-stuck when trying to discover his identity.

So long as his enemies remain clueless about him, then the person with the upper hand will always be him.

Shortly after entering the Apex Tower, Xu Feng guided Carn to their office.

"This is an office?" Carn rubbed her eyes twice to confirm that she wasn't seeing things.

"Is this your definition of an office?" She turned to him with a disbelief expression. After all, the so-called office was empty, with nurous construction materials being scattered across. It was a ss to be precise.

"It's under renovation, but fret not, there's a proper room right here." Xu Feng walked to a neatly-painted door and exclaid.

As he opened it and revealed the interior, Carn was utterly speechless. Indeed, the outside was a ss, but the inside was neatly decorated, and fully furnished.

Entering the room, Carn found a comfortable chair to sit on and felt the softness.

"Good chair." She exclaid, feeling her sore back to be sowhat relieved.

"It's a massage chair," Xu Feng smiled and turned on the massaging function.

"Oh my," Surprised, Carn's expression softened so much and she felt like no one could force her to get up from the chair. "I've experienced massage chairs before, but how co none could compete with this."

"That's because this chair costs a lot and is the latest invention." He calmly explained, taking a seat on another massage chair. Naturally, these were imported from the first-graded city and bought with Ning Yi's money.

This kind of luxury was not sothing he could afford yet. After all, not even money could get a hold of it unless one got the connections.

As the two enjoyed their muscles being relaxed and massaged, a person finally entered and asked, "Hello, is there a Cool Wind here?"

"Yes, co in." Xu Feng exclaid.

Shortly after, a man dressed in a suit with so sweat dripping from his forehead entered the room. He looked to be in his mid-20s, and from a glance, it could be seen that he was fairly nervous.

A far cry from his outer appearance during the news broadcast.

"You're OneMandia?" Carn was astonished by the sight.

How co his confidence seed to be nonexistent?

Without a doubt, OneMandia, otherwise known as Wei Xing, was anxious about this eting.

"Uh, Yes, I'm OneMandia and you can just call

Xing if you want." Wei Xing introduced himself.

"Xing as in the star aning?" Carn inquired.

Nodding, Wei Xing was about to speak until Xu Feng chid in, "Take a seat by the couch. Lin Feng should have already briefed you a bit about the cause of this eting, right?"

"Yes, Lin Feng told

to co here to et with the other core mbers of the Vanguard guild." Wei Xing held a handkerchief and wiped his sweat as he took his seat.
