With how conceited and arrogant Xu Feng appeared in the face of two enraged NPCs, the Berserker lost his composure.
It didn't hesitate to draw his battle axe and prepared to swing at him.
"Guild Leader!" Carn shouted in alarm from the back, clearly surprised by the NPC's surprise attack. She was about to retaliate fiercely with her spell, only to pause midway.
In fact, it wasn't just her, but the enraged Berserker as well. Even his companion, the Gunner had his mouth left agape.

From the tiny pouch itself though, shimring golden light seeped out continuously whenever Xu Feng played around with it. The tiny pouch was thrown into the air and caught back to his palm.
"Oh, what are you doing with that axe, big boy?" Xu Feng feigned a surprise expression as he glanced at the Berserker's axe.

"It can't be that you want to kill or fight , right?" Xu Feng mused. "If it's that, then I'm afraid this tiny pouch will disappear along with my death. After all, I plan to hire you and your companion for a job."

for so spineless person?" The Berserker regained his composure and snorted loudly.
However, the very next mont, the Berserker was on the ground with his legs and arms. As for his back, Xu Feng was seated atop of it, his legs being massaged by the Gunner.
"Oh, so the two of you go by the alias Razor and Brutus." Xu Feng chuckled softly.
Razor was the Gunner alias and Brutus was the Berserker alias. The two of them tead up because they made a strong synergy and didn't wish to share much of the loot gains with too many people.
"Yes, that is correct." Razor, the Gunner smiled amicably as he continued to massage Xu Feng's right leg.
"Do the left one now," Xu Feng commanded and turned his attention to Brutus.
He patted the latter's head lightly and asked, "So you two were doing a mission from the Adventure Association?"
"That is correct, Boss!" Brutus responded respectfully. His behavior flipped faster than a lightbulb being turned off and on. Previously, he was on the verge of fighting Xu Feng, but now he can't wait to please him.
Of course, this was only possible because Xu Feng offered them 20 gold coins. This kind of money was not easy to earn and usually required them to undergo many dangerous terrains or areas.
anwhile, Carn was left speechless by Xu Feng's thod. "This kind of situation was possible?"
She gazed at Xu Feng who seed no different than an emperor being pampered heavily.
"Why couldn't it be possible?" Xu Feng laughed heartily.
"Razor and Brutus aren't so sort of villains or criminals. They wanted an explanation, and I gave them one. Right guys?"
"Of course, Boss!" Both Razor and Brutus nodded their heads simultaneously.
However, Brutus got smacked by Xu Feng when he nodded his head.
"Don't move around too much. I'll get a headache." Xu Feng scolded heavily.
"Sorry, Boss."
Seeing how the almighty Berserker turned to sothing like this… Carn began to question life.
'Are money really that powerful?' She glanced at her inventory and found her wealth had only a little bit over 3 gold coins.
3 gold coins were still a lot of wealth for players in this current stage. Yet when she compared herself with Xu Feng, she nearly wanted to curse him.
Every player was scrambling their best to earn money, but here Xu Feng was casually hiring two supposedly strong NPCs as so lowly thugs for him to abuse.
"Anyway, Razor, co over here." Xu Feng retrieved an inventory full of herbs as well as a shovel. "Take this shovel and these herbs and mimic the small pit over there. I marked down the location for you and just burned those herbs after you finished digging the small pit."
"Eh…" Upon hearing the instruction, Razor was rendered speechless.
Wasn't this instruction equivalent to telling him to poison the area?
If he really did that and encountered so tough opponents, they might outright kill him for believing he was an assassin. And unlike Xu Feng who was an immortal, he only had one life.
"If you do it beautifully and return before 30 minutes, then you can gain an extra 5 gold coins." Xu Feng yawned lightly and said.
Instantly, all the worries and doubts in Razor's mind had disappeared miraculously. "Rest assured, Boss. I'll have them done in a heartbeat."
Shortly after, Razor grabbed the materials and swiftly left the area. His speed was extrely fast— to the point that there was no longer any sight of him after 30 seconds.
"What about , Boss?" Brutus suddenly opened his mouth and asked. Truth be told, it was pretty humiliating to act as a chair for Xu Feng when he was a strong Berserker.
Alas, what Xu Feng said next made him regret his actions.
"You can continue being a chair— a silent one at that. Who told you to nearly scare
with that axe of yours? Now I need to pacify my emotions."
With how harsh and fierce Xu Feng's tone was, Brutus could only silently accept his fate as a chair.
anwhile, Carn walked over to Xu Feng and whispered, "Is this really alright? He wouldn't suddenly go berserk and attack us, right?"
"Boss' friend, please do not insult our integrity like that."
"Shut up!" Xu Feng shouted when Brutus attempted to defend its integrity.
Sure enough, Brutus kept quiet and dared not make a single sound.
"See that, Carn?" Xu Feng pointed at Brutus and smirked, "They're now my labor and under their god's eyes. They would really be condemned if they were to attack ."
At this mont, Carn didn't even know what was happening. Her head was spinning like crazy when she attempted to decipher how a supposed violent encounter turned into a submissive scenery.
