After discussing for a few minutes within the Adventure Association, Xu Feng was ready to make his way to the Teleportation Platform.

"Wait a minute, Guild Leader." Carn suddenly spoke up, her expression sowhat hesitant.

Xu Feng paused his movent, turned around, and asked, "What's the matter?"

"Can I join you at Paradise Plains?" Carn softly said, "I've heard other players discussing it and are crowding the Teleportation Platform. But the guards actually held a blockade and prevented any unauthorized personnel from stepping foot."

"Hmm, I'm not sure," Xu Feng purposely rubbed his chin and frowned, almost as if it was a difficult matter.

"Please Guild Leader." Carn pleaded coyly. "I've been in the city for a while, but there's really nothing much to do here. Aside from so occasional monsters in the outskirts of the city to hunt, there's legit nothing to do."

To simplify her aning, Carn was bored out of her mind. Had it not been for the excitent at the galaxy-like atmosphere, followed by the discovery of Arcane Vein, she would most likely rot in boredom.

Her predicant wasn't uncommon, given that most players who were trapped in Star Falls City began to duel among themselves.

There were only a handful of monsters to hunt daily, and other than that, they were just sitting in dust. Therefore, they decided to compete against one another in hopes of gaining so combat experience and enlightennt.

Of course, it was easier said than done, with only a few players among them having gained so improvent.

anwhile, Carn misunderstood his silence and quickly rushed to him, linking her arms around his. "Oh, Guild Leader, you said you had high hopes for my talent, but how can my talent be expressed if I can't witness other places for enlightennt?"

"Enlightennt?" Xu Feng twitched his mouth.

"Do you really take this for so cultivation crap where you improve trendously from so enlightennt? Those bored players fighting each other in the hope to improve is just doing it wrong, and you shouldn't try to copy them." He added, afraid of her being badly influenced by others.

"If I shouldn't copy them, then the Guild Leader should bring

along to guide

properly." Carn pestered.

'It's over. How did the demoness beco such a shaless person?' Xu Feng cried inwardly, wondering who had taught her to act like this.

Naturally, the culprit was none other than Xu Feng himself, but he would never admit to it nor would he believe himself to be the culprit.

"Alright, you can follow , so release your arms already." Xu Feng smiled bitterly.

"Yay, Guild Leader's the best!" Without hesitation, Carn released her grip and giggled cheekily.

Speechless, Xu Feng facepald and walked away, only to be interrupted by Jessica.

"Ah, Feng, it's good to see you haven't left." Jessica clasped her hands, her smile sowhat sinister.

'Damn, what is she up to?' Xu Feng had a bad premonition regarding that sinister smile. There was never anything good whenever an NPC flashed such an expression.

Sure enough, Jessica's next words made Xu Feng want to curse the hell out of the Adventure Association.

"Feng, as you know, our association has been in the red for a long ti. Although we have so employees who would work for us, the requirent to mine needs different adventurers, but we lack the necessary funds. Do you have any ideas?" She asked sweetly, but even a fool could tell she was hoping he could cover the expense.

And before Xu Feng could even refuse, Jessica continued, "The teleportation to Paradise Plains is extrely far, and required a ton of resources to complete the transfer, in addition to the participation slot."

At this mont, Xu Feng truly had to hand it to her for attempting the guilt trip tactic.

"The solution is actually quite simple," Xu Feng faked a cough and said. "Just tell them that as long as they complete 50 of the sa mission, they will be granted the right to use the teleportation function."

"Eh? Then wouldn't we lose a lot of money by offering them free teleportation?"

"No, they must still fork the necessary money to teleport, but they must et the prerequisite completion of the mission to be granted access."

"But wouldn't those adventurers riot?" Jessica was stunned by his suggestion. It was no different than treating the adventurers as slaves. Not only must they offer free labor, but they must also gain the right to use the teleportation platform after completion.

"Just trust

and let the adventurers know. They would be more than happy to accept such an arrangent." Xu Feng mused.

"A-A-Alright then," Jessica sighed softly.

Once she left the scene, Carn finally burst out laughing, her hands clutching her stomach tightly.

"Ahh, Feng, you really are the worst of the worst." She gave him a thumbs up.

Xu Feng gladly accepted the praise, placed one of his hands near his chest, and bowed. "Thank you for the complint."

Carn really could not believe this kind of man was her guild leader. He was no longer just a ruthless and cunning man, but also an exploitation expert.

The players who ca to Star Falls City to claim the bounty of Xu Feng's head must really be regretting their decision. To get out of the city, they must now slave for 50 tis of mining to get away.

Throughout their journey to the teleportation platform, Carn constantly giggled softly and gave a funny look at Xu Feng.

As for him, he remained composed as he handed the participation slot to the guard.

"Ah, so it's Baron Lin Feng." The guard took a brief glance at the participation slot before assuming a solemn and respectful expression.

Only an idiot wouldn't know about Xu Feng's prestige in Star Falls City.

"Yes, I wish to teleport to the Paradise Plains, and this person here is my assistant." Xu Feng lightly said and introduced Carn.

Normally, the guard would refuse other people from using it aside from the designated participation slot holder, but it was Xu Feng.

"Not a problem, Baron Lin Feng." The guard patted his chest and responded enthusiastically. Stay connected through empire
