Capítulo 1410: Sunrise Inner City Part 27

Xu Feng struggled for a little bit over 10 seconds and ultimately chose to remain in the Origin Dinsion to search for the Origin Fragnt.

It wasn’t that he wanted to be selfish and leave his guild mbers to fend for themselves against the Red Ogre Mist. But this was truly a once-in-a-lifeti encounter.

Compared to the dungeon raid, which clearly allowed multiple attempts, this one was different.

Xu Feng could not be sure or even dare to risk leaving the Origin Dinsion, expecting to encounter it again.

“I can’t even send a ssage or access anything else.” He sighed softly when he realized everything was disabled. He couldn’t even use the guild voice chat or the team voice chat as an alternative to spread the ssage.

With these options blocked off, he was certain that the first attempt would be wiped.

He wanted to have faith in them, but without any knowledge, most people often get wiped out until they receive more information regarding the boss’s pattern and behavior.

“Whatever, what’s done is done. I need to search for this Origin Fragnt.”

Shortly after deciding on it, Xu Feng accepted the system’s arrangent and was promptly greeted by a ghoul monster.

“The heck??!” A bit startled, Xu Feng hurriedly activated the divine shield and shot a barrage of Judgnt Rays at the ghoul monster. The Judgnt Ray was of light elent, and with its energy power, it naturally dealt critical damage to a monster in the ghoul form.

Despite knocking back the ghoul monster, Xu Feng didn’t dare to relax his guard.

After all, the Judgnt Ray, which had been upgraded to a high tier already, only did a little bit over 1% of the ghoul monster’s health points.

“Seems like an elent has no effect.” He quickly narrowed his eyes and attempted to fire a few more light-elent types.

Although the ghoul monster began to react and avoided most of it, they were still ultimately hit and received just a little bit over 0.3%.

It appeared as if his attack was just a small itch to the monster.

Upon seeing the ineffectiveness, Xu Feng’s mind began to wander over the keyword of this dinsion: Origin.

‘Could it be that their weaknesses are Origin-related skills?’

With that in mind, Xu Feng triggered his Origin skills and activated Anathema’s Touch.

To those who forgot, it was a skill with two sets of effects controlled by the player’s desire.

Effect 1– Converts healing done to a person into pure damage, scaling with the caster’s magic power.

Effect 2– Healing’s effect becos tripled and greatly boosts the person’s overall attributes by 5%.

Although the ghoul monster definitely didn’t classify as a person, it still was a target based on the system.

Sure enough, the Anathema’s Touch was indeed effective as the ghoul monster got attached.

“Let

give you so healing.” A malicious grin flashed on Xu Feng’s face.

Unbeknownst to the ghoul monster, it suddenly shivered and felt fearful of that malicious grin. It wanted to quickly remove the attachnt from itself out of instinct.

“It’s too late, buddy.” Like a devil, Xu Feng began to unleash his powerful healing skills.

“SHRIEK!!!” The ghoul monster squealed and wanted to flee.

While Xu Feng was having a blast in the Origin Dinsion, back outside in the boss raid, things were on the low end for the group.

“Tanks, maintain formation and try your best to rotate in between on who will take the hit!”

“Healer, don’t just focus on healing and buffing. Be aware of your position and do not get affected by the cluster mist!”

“DPS, are you even aiming at the Critical Flesh Point? Why are so of your damages below average? It seems like you need to train harder in spotting Critical Flesh Points back at the Training Hall!”

A series of words echoed throughout the field.

Although the majority were being blasted by this voice, not a single person dared to utter any complaint.

Why was that?

Because the speaker was none other than Carn, who seed to have changed into a completely different person.

Despite being well known as aloof, who rarely interacted with many of the guild mbers, it was common knowledge that she was actually quite amiable and approachable.

Most of the female players in the guild would occasionally inquire with her regarding so of the summoner’s class, and Carn would be happy to guide them if she had the ti.

However, the mont Xu Feng was killed and unable to be resurrected, she had a whole personality change.

Fierce, ruthless, and absolutely brutal in her comnts.

A mber who made an amateur mistake was imdiately called out and reprimanded by Carn.

“Is this your first ti playing? How could you possibly use Tiger Roar right when the team needed shielding? Do you want the team to be wiped?” Carn snapped and turned into a real grumpy woman.

Even Veronica couldn’t help but beco baffled by her change.

Of course, she also understood that Carn was taking on the helm from Xu Feng’s absence and wanted the raid to be successful.

And besides Xu Feng’s usual leadership and approach, she had rarely seen much leadership command.

Therefore, she must have taken reference.

Unfortunately, Carn failed to realize one thing. What Xu Feng does might not necessarily be the best thod for Carn.

‘Forget it, I’ll just let her continue.’ Veronica ultimately decided against warning Carn’s action. At the very least, her harsh behavior wasn’t unfounded, and she was indeed only calling out those who made dumb mistakes.

At their current level, it was honestly ridiculous to be making amateur mistakes.

Even soone like her, who was trapped in an office for most of the ti, knew what to do and what not to do, let alone these mbers who constantly explore and grind outside.

Still, as a reference, Veronica decided to record this mont and send it to Xu Feng for review.

Who knows?

Maybe they might have another talented raid commander in the making right here?
