Capítulo 1409: Sunrise Inner City Part 26

Indeed, the frightening Red Ogre Mist went after Xu Feng out of the 50 players it could choose from.

And despite Xu Feng’s reaction and attempt to defend or avoid it. The outco was already decided the mont it opened its eyes.

Like a ragdoll—he was shackled and pumled to death.

His fragile body couldn’t even withstand 5 hits.

His skills were also locked at that mont, so he couldn’t heal or do anything to nullify the insane amount of damage dealt to him.

Ding!

[System Notification: You have been killed by the Red Ogre Mist!]

It was truly a first for Xu Feng to die right off the bat in a raid.

Just what the hell was his luck?

If it were any other player who got targeted, then he could have still saved them from being one-shot.

But alas, he was the one who got targeted, and no other healers in the guild were capable of stopping a one-shot chanism.

After all, they weren’t baptized or had Origin power to assist them.

While Xu Feng felt aggrieved, the Red Ogre Mist didn’t care and began rushing toward other players.

“Hmph, co at , you big ogre!” A Knight Lancer snorted coldly and activated his taunt skill.

He wasn’t alone, as other tanks also began to take the aggro.

Although they had complained and even whined sowhat, they weren’t incompetent enough to beco a ss with Xu Feng’s death.

If that was truly the case, then all their training could be said to be a waste of ti and effort.

“Cover the left!” One Tank, who was on the right side, called out. They didn’t know whether the boss had an AoE attack or not.

Hence, they needed to protect their DPS.

anwhile, the other healer attempted to resurrect Xu Feng, only to be hit with a system prompt.

[System Notification: Current target cannot be revived!]

“What the hell?”

“Is the system bugged?”

“Our Guild Leader cannot be revived??!”

Nearly all the healers had an outburst and alard the rest of the people.

This was especially true for Carn. She wanted to say sothing, but could not afford to be distracted. As the highest DPS in the team, she must assist the tanks who are currently trying to defend against the Red Ogre.

“I’ll leave this to you!” Carn told Veronica and soared to the air to proceed stripping the Red Ogre’s defense.

Perks of being a voidmancer allowed her to strip the enemy’s defense attribute.

Because her main kit was still relying on the voidlings to help her do the work, it was only right that she had abilities to strip down the enemy’s defense to make them vulnerable for her summons to damage heavily.

While Carn went to assist the team, Veronica told the other healers to go help the rest, except for one healer.

“Sweet Sky, can you still not revive the Guild Leader?” Veronica asked.

Sweet Sky was one of the Vanguard Guild’s top healers. She was relatively unknown to the outside because she was close to an introvert type.

But still, she sohow joined the guild because she heard lots of news about the Vanguard Guild Leader being an unorthodox healer.

As soone who loves to try out new things but was afraid to speak out, she mustered up the courage to apply to join.

And what did you know?

Her talent in perception, reaction, and healing ti was top-notch.

Of course, she might not be well known outside, but within the guild. She was the most coveted healer that nearly everyone wanted to invite.

Even those in the Elite Teams wish to invite her to beco their healer.

There was even an incident that erupted between guildies who wanted to have Sweet Sky in their team.

Ultimately, it was only resolved under Veronica’s intervention, and she will allocate her position internally. Needless to say, it was simply a discussion secretly regarding whom Sweet Sky wished to join.

At this mont, Sweet Sky tried to cast a revival spell on Xu Feng again, but to no avail.

She was greeted with the sa system prompt that everyone received when trying to revive.

[System Notification: Current target cannot be revived!]

“The system still says the Guild Leader cannot be revived.” Sweet Sky pursed her lips and reported.

Veronica’s brows furrowed as she frowned. She wasn’t dissatisfied with Sweet Sky’s inability, but was more dumbfounded by the situation.

“Was the attack from the ogre a permanent death?” She raised an eyebrow and shifted her sight to the Red Ogre, which was being contained.

The Red Ogre’s health had barely dropped by 3%, which goes to show how tanky and durable it was. In the anti, the team’s health was around 60-70%.

Without a powerful healing and shot caller, Xu Feng to handle the mantle, the raid difficulty had risen trendously.

‘When will you co back up?’ Veronica was worried and turned her attention back to Xu Feng.

While she was helpless, Xu Feng was actually in another dinsion.

[System Notification: You have stumbled across an Origin Dinsion!]

“Hah, is this why I was targeted?” Xu Feng snickered lightly as he figured this must have sothing to do with his Origin Power. Because no one else on the team had this kind of power except for him.

“But what is this Origin Dinsion?” Xu Feng glanced around his surroundings and inquired. He was certain that there was no ti pause between this and the dungeon raid.

[System Notification: The player is free to leave the Origin Dinsion or choose to stay to obtain an Origin Fragnt. An Origin Fragnt is an ancient fragntation known to enhance and modify the Origin Power.]

Unlike the past incident where the system didn’t bother to explain anything, this ti, it did, and the information was extrely mind-blowing.

“Origin Fragnt that could enhance and modify the Origin Power…” Xu Feng murmured, his pupils slightly constricted. He was totally not prepared to learn sothing new about the Origin Power.

This was completely out of his calculation!!!
