Chapter 1386: Sunrise Inner City Part 3

"Hoh, these are Drop Loot X2 Potions?" Carn’s eyes widened in amazent. She quickly grabbed one of the potions and inspected the detailed information.

What really caught her attention was the na of the crafter.

"Jeanette?" She furrowed her brows and glanced at Xu Feng. "Are you cheating behind my back?"

Needless to say, the question was a teasing remark. She knew he wasn’t the type to cheat. Not to ntion, if he really did, then he would have totally been able to conceal it from him based on his shrewd mindset.

"You don’t check guild mbers often, right?" Xu Feng naturally knew she was joking and teased her back.

"As a Guild Commander and the mascot of our guild, you should know your guild mbers more often."

"Hah... too many mbers to rember. I only rember a few, such as that Lightning Blade. You don’t even know how his plight, caused by your alias, has beco a teasing remark and a lesson for others daily."

At this point, Carn gave him a light punch.

"You should find the ti to apologize to Lightning Blade as your Cool Wind alias or even your guild leader position." She lightly chided him. Lightning Blade’s loyalty was known to all, especially with how fast he climbed back up to retrieve his stripped rit points.

"Hah..." Taken by surprise, Xu Feng didn’t know what or how to respond to that.

Was he a bit extre when enacting the punishnt back then?

Maybe a little... but it was still necessary to ta and suppress his guild mbers from trying to use the guild’s influence to commit evil things.

"Don’t try to avoid it." Carn hissed and leaned closer to him. "You don’t know how much criticism you are receiving from this incident. Many haters and those who are envious of us want to sow discord using that incident."

Upon hearing that, Xu Feng finally understood her intention. She didn’t want to keep hearing or seeing others trying to use this incident as an issue to complain about him.

Although he never cared about these people, it was clear that Carn’s mood had been on a low trend when it ca to this.

"Very well, I’ll make a formal compensation to Lightning Blade as the Guild Leader." It was just right to do so now that Lightning Blade was assisting Zhao Kai in improving.

As for using the Cool Wind alias, it would be impossible.

Not only would it be quite abrupt, but it also doesn’t fit the character setting.

Carn pondered for a mont and nodded in agreent. She had seen Lightning Blade’s work and was amazed by his contribution.

"Are you going to comnd him now?" She raised the question.

Contrary to her surprise, Xu Feng shook his head. "Still not the right ti at the mont."

"Are you afraid of apologizing?"

"What do you take

for?"

"A shaless, despicable, shrewd, petty, and overall scheming person who no one wants to make an enemy of."

"..."

As much as he agreed with her description, it still hurt to admit those on the spot.

After all, he wasn’t the only one with those traits when everyone else was the sa. No guild leader could sustain their guild if they lacked such traits. Of course, there could still be so righteous or morally right people.

But these people were often spoiled and had a big background to support them. They claim to not use their family influence, but everyone knew it was horseshit.

Soti later, Carn finally figured out the reason.

"Sunrise Inner City?" She raised an eyebrow and exclaid in shock.

"You’re finally willing to lead another big dungeon with the guild?" She continued, feeling extrely excited.

Although no one had made any complaints, nearly everyone wanted to have Xu Feng lead them to another dungeon.

The last ti it happened was in the Fortress of the Fallen Hell Mode difficulty.

"Was there a need to be that excited?" Xu Feng furrowed his brows. He couldn’t really understand the excitent when his guild mbers were self-sustainable.

They didn’t really need him at all to raid dungeons. They were all independent and strong enough to form a team among themselves.

Every day, the daily contribution chart would get updated, and he could see more people competing against each other.

When Carn noticed his helpless expression, she knew right away that this man really didn’t care much about his guild mbers’ emotions.

Yes, she admitted that his resources and benefits were among the top. But how could that be enough to bond with them through actual dungeons?

’He’s too isolated. How can his approval rating be high if he never spends ti bonding with them?’ She sighed inwardly.

Sotis, she really hoped that he would cut himself so slack.

She shook her head and proceeded to inquire about the details regarding the Sunrise Inner City.

Without a doubt, this dungeon was definitely at the greatest difficulty, in which they must min-max everything to near flawless mode to complete.

Soone like Xu Feng would never lead an easy dungeon. It just wasn’t his style at all.

"Only Tier 2 are qualified and must pass the Training Hall Session 3.1?" Carn’s eyes widened in surprise.

The Training Hall Session 3.1 could be said to be a nightmare for everyone.

Even she wasn’t exempt from taking that examination. When she completed, she nearly had the urge to thrash Xu Feng down.

Just thinking about it, she suddenly held the urge to thrash him down right now.

And it was at this mont that Xu Feng felt a cold chill. ’Crap... Carn suffered from the Training Hall Session 3.1.’

He recalled how she nearly strangled him.

His hand wasn’t holding a gentle woman, but a ti bomb, ready to explode at any mont.

"Um, Carn, did you have any contact with Librarian Griselda lately?"

Using his quick thinking skills, he hurriedly changed the topic.

Sure enough, it worked like a charm!

Carn’s soured mood quickly dissipated as she flashed a bittersweet smile.

"One of the library branches that Master owned was recently overtaken by the Colossuses. She told

that she will contact

once it’s resolved, but so far, there has been no news."
