Chapter 1366: Aetheria Empire Part 13

Carn could never have imagined any other player would be able to pull off what Xu Feng did.

Not only must he remain calm and collected in the face of a terrifying enemy, but he must also stall long enough for the combat mode to disappear. Lastly, he must rember that he could log out in such a tense situation.

It sounded simple and easy when relaying the story.

But how many players could actually pull them off when faced with such an impromptu situation?

"Can you stop making

worried sick like this?" Carn pursed her lips and pouted. Her heart ached seeing how he could sweat so much that it looked no different than taking a deep dive into the ocean.

"Sorry," Xu Feng smiled apologetically, and pulled her closer for an embrace.

"Ew, you’re sticky."

Despite the complaint about his stickiness, she didn’t push him away.

His condition was no different than their nightti activities, so there wasn’t any discomfort whatsoever.

"By the way, how did you co back so soon?" Lying on her chest, Xu Feng asked softly. He was really too weak at the mont.

Although Cedric hadn’t made any offensive moves, his pressure alone was enough to weaken him. Thankfully, pressure and aura leaked from an enemy didn’t count as hostile or in combat mode.

Think of it like being targeted, but no actual action has been taken against you. In other words, you could still teleport away or flee during that window of ti.

"Kai brought in reinforcent from the empire." Carn wrapped her arms gently around Xu Feng and explained.

His call for reinforcent arrived in ti.

The Aetheria Empire military actually sent flying mounts to rush over to the Oracle Region.

Because of the commotion and the sudden disappearance of the hounds, the incident was resolved, with Zhao Kai officially taking over the lead to escort the NPC scout.

Evelyn and the rest also took the chance to relax under the care of the Aetheria Empire for their effort and contribution in rescuing their scout soldier.

Shortly after she finished explaining, Xu Feng couldn’t help but grin evilly.

"Why are you grinning like so villain?" Carn raised an eyebrow. She was confused about what other conspiracy or sches he could concoct under such pressure.

"Hehe..."

He giggled for a few seconds and relayed the bait he dropped for the Tier 4 Summoner.

Soti later, Carn’s expression turned funny.

She was impressed, but at the sa ti, flabbergasted at his petty mindset that could even overwhelm a tense situation.

"You really threw in the bait to have a Tier 4 Summoner as your blade to take down the two Zhao brothers?" She took a deep breath and asked.

"I an like... it was on the right track." He mused.

The truth was that he never planned on shifting the responsibility to them in the beginning.

However, when he began to fabricate the story and rember where the Necro Alliance was based, so past mories resurfaced.

Although there was no Origin power existing in the Necro Valley, there indeed existed a similar type of power that often misled others into believing it was.

Moreover, this kind of power does have an increase in a person’s ability.

It was just that prolonged use could cause a person’s ntal concentration to be drained easily.

And this type of power was commonly identified as Norigin.

As for why, it was just a combination of no and origin, which made up Norigin.

Simple and concise... it was at least way better than so nonsense that used to send the world amok with 67.

When thinking about that viral , Xu Feng hurriedly shook his head to stop overthinking and returned his focus to the aftermath.

"Since the Aetheria Empire has sent an army, what happened to the Oracle Region?" Xu Feng asked.

"The Aetheria Empire didn’t wish to alarm anyone by giving them a fright. The region will remain open and not be designated as a danger zone. As compensation for suppressing the news, we gain so permit tokens."

"Permit tokens?"

"Mhmm," Carn nodded and explained the permit tokens. Due to the war circumstances, most Teleport Platforms were restricted or required a certain reputation or a heavy price to use.

Many players were left with empty wallets or trapped in their area because of the high cost.

But now with the permit tokens, they no longer need to worry about not eting any of the requirents to access the Teleport Platforms.

Naturally, that wasn’t the only benefit. It was the fact that they could now enter a military camp and directly contribute without needing to go through procedures.

To summarize, they and Evelyn’s team were officially pivoted to one of the main pioneers and vanguards of the second major update.

"What about the Demoness Army?" Xu Feng inquired.

"Rest assured, Feng. The Demoness Army had improved in strength and was granted rits as well." Carn said.

Though she soon frowned when she was worried about the Demoness Army being exposed to Evelyn, it was a good or bad thing.

The strength of the Demoness Army was enough to cause many guilds to beco frightened by their potential.

"It’s fine." He never planned on keeping it a secret for long. After all, the number count was simply too difficult to be concealed from the public.

"Anyway, now that everything has been addressed... Do you mind taking a shower?" Carn asked. He was really sweaty and sticky.

"I suppose so." He smirked evilly.

"What are you doing?"

"Stop it!"

"Put

down, Feng!"

Despite the supposed shouting, Carn barely resisted physically as she allowed him to carry her to the shower room.

As for what happened next... There was no need to emphasize that part.

...

Divine World, Aetheria Empire

"Where is the Guild Leader and Guild Commander?" Veronica arrived at the empire and questioned Zhao Kai.

"The two of them?" Zhao Kai’s face twisted into an ugly expression.

’Carn told

that she would be back as soon as she confird Feng’s condition, but it’s been more than half an hour already. What else could they be doing?’ Zhao Kai was certain that he had been ditched by these two lovebirds.
