Chapter 1340: Divine World Version 2 Part 16
"Feng, if you want to destroy GTB, I’m supportive of you," Carn said.
What she despised were rich people like them who took advantage of the poor and forced them to be at a disadvantage.
In a sense, their actions were even more despicable than those of the Reaver Guild.
At the very least, the Reaver Guild only did things in a ga, whereas GTB was doing things that affected one’s livelihood.
"The GTB... I couldn’t touch them before." Xu Feng smiled and stared at her warmly. "But thanks to you, I now have the leverage to target them."
"Thanks to ?"
"Mhmm, because of you, I’ve made a connection with Kara."
"But I don’t think Auntie Kara will help you out, though."
"I don’t an to have her help
out physically." Xu Feng chuckled heartily. "I just need people to know our Vanguard Guild has a connection with Kara, and that’s enough."
Using Kara to take down GTB was a bit too much.
After all, Kara had no beef with the GTB, unlike them, who were repeatedly humiliated.
"I suppose you have it all laid out." Carn finished her dessert and extended her hand.
"Naturally. Doing things impulsively rarely brings out good results." Xu Feng mused and lifted her up.
As he carried her toward the living room and to the couch, Carn leaned her head on his shoulder.
"You say that, but why do I recall soone impulsively barging his way through the Malefic Order Guild’s people to rush to Dawnshire City?"
"That’s not being impulsive." He gently lay her down on the couch and explained, "That was a faceslap to the Vanguard Guild. So a show of force and domination was required."
Carn grinned slyly. Maybe if she were soone ignorant, then she might believe his words. But she was positive that he was definitely enraged at that mont. That intense bloodlust and absolute coldness toward the enemies.
She could never forget that scene.
As she reminisced about past events, her face suddenly flushed red.
"Feng, you’re not rushing to return to the Divine World, right?" She turned to him and asked.
Confused, Xu Feng didn’t even get a chance to react when she already pounced on him.
"Carn?" He looked at her
"Shh," Carn placed a finger on his mouth, while her other hand started sneaking inside his clothes.
"I’ve just eaten a cake, so now I need to do so exercise. Otherwise, I’m going to beco fat."
"Should I bring more dessert to you in the future?" Xu Feng chuckled.
"Who’s afraid of who?" Carn smirked and leaned close to him.
The sound of sothing rated 18 resounded, and for those unaware of what it was, you can stay pure.
In the blink of an eye, a few hours had gone by, and Xu Feng realized he was trapped when he noticed sothing while in bed.
There were surprisingly two gaming capsules in the room.
"I’ve talked with Erica. Living in her apartnt when you got one here isn’t quite appropriate." She gently said.
"Wait a second... Does that an if I didn’t co here, then I would have been kicked out of her apartnt?"
"Well, lucky you." Carn giggled and gave him another kiss. "You ca to
right away and avoided the embarrassnt of being booted out."
"Yeah, I’ve lucked out." He seriously cannot imagine the scene of being kicked out.
"Wait, does that an you plan on living in this city?"
"Mhmm." Carn nodded. Initially, she planned to invite Xu Feng to her city. But she recalled how lost Xu Feng was. It appeared that he had so bad mories in Green Fla City.
Although records had shown he had never been to Green Fla City, a woman’s instinct was rarely wrong. This was especially so when it was directed at their beloved.
Soti later, Xu Feng went to shower to cleanse away the sweaty activity.
As for Carn, she browsed through her phone to check on the ssage.
Auntie Kara: Your father sent
a ssage inquiring about your whereabouts.
Carn: You didn’t tell him anything, right?
Auntie Kara: I didn’t, but you should know that by going public in the film festival... he’s bound to figure out your boyfriend’s identity.
Carn knitted her brows when she read the ssage. She already knew the risk behind attending the film festival, but there was no other choice.
Only by doing this could she tell everyone her determination.
Since she had chosen to accept Xu Feng’s confession, she planned to go through the path with him regardless of the difficulties.
Amidst her dazedness, she failed to notice Xu Feng’s presence.
"What’s wrong?" He asked in concern.
"Feng, you won’t abandon , right?" She tossed her phone aside and wrapped her arm around him.
"I have no intention of doing so," he calmly said and rubbed her back. "If you’re getting so pressure, do let
know. You should know I have faced countless crises before and dealt with them."
"It’s like this..."
Carn was honest and revealed the majority of her backstory.
Apparently, she was an illegitimate daughter, and her father planned to establish a marriage alliance.
Too bad that he failed to understand she wasn’t so soft-hearted woman. Not only did she disregard the order, but she also ran away and beca independent.
Shortly after revealing her story, Carn felt like a heavy boulder had been lifted from her shoulder.
Xu Feng also got to learn this new piece of information. His eyes glinted in a cold light.
"Rest assured, Carn. I’m an orphan, so I’m even worse than an illegitimate child." He calmly said and embraced her tightly.
"In the future, we can create our own family. Who needs to care about other people?"
Carn’s face flushed red. How could she not understand what he ant?
Still, she didn’t reject his suggestion and simply nuzzled her head in his chest.
"In the future, then. I know you still have a lot of things in mind. I don’t want to beco soone who hinders your objective."
Although Xu Feng wanted to say he could multitask, he didn’t speak further and only enjoyed this mont.
’This second chance really is... amazing.’
