Chapter 1299: Honor and Integrity

Azure Lair, Azure Dungeon Entrance

The Tuning Bloom Guild raiding team nearly all plopped to the ground from the intense and suffocating pressure imposed on them.

Only Gordon was faring slightly better, granted that he was a Tier 2 Berserker, capable of resisting and enduring a lot of things.

"Vanguard Guild Demoness?" Gordon’s face turned extrely ugly. The intel he received only ntioned the Vanguard Guild Leader being present.

It had never even ntioned that their infamous Demoness was also present in the dungeon entrance.

’Did we have a traitor in the guild?’ Gordon couldn’t help but start to wonder if there was a traitor leaking out this core secret to the Vanguard Guild.

This particular dungeon was stumbled across and discovered by their Tuning Bloom Guild. It was quite discreet and nearly impossible to find unless one got the precise coordinates.

Throughout their raiding attempts, everything had been smooth sailing despite the countless failures and team wipeouts.

Still, they were satisfied because they managed to study the dungeon continuously and ca up with a perfect strategy.

And this ti, the raid really ca out fruitful. But before any celebration could be made, their raid team was about to face two of the toughest players.

The Demoness’ reputation aside, her Guild Leader was even more mysterious in his prowess. He was a healer, yet his damage output and supporting level were so vast compared to a regular healer. Only a fool would dare to underestimate this kind of ridiculous and illogical player.

"I’m really in quite the foul mood right now, so you all better last long enough." Carn stretched her slender fingers and warned solemnly.

Other won who got confessed on had a lot of ti to ponder over it. But here she was, barely even having a minute to ponder before she got ruthlessly interrupted.

’I swear if I don’t slaughter these bastards in a grueso manner, I won’t be able to calm my emotions.’ Carn clenched her fist.

Why in the heck did they finish the raid this early?

Couldn’t they have struggled a bit more?

While Carn clearly depicted an agitated manner, Xu Feng was more composed.

He undid his invisibility spell and gently tapped on Carn’s shoulder.

"Relax, we’ll resu the conversation offline." He softly spoke and consoled her. As soone who also studied so of the short drama, he naturally understood her frustration well.

And truth be told, he was also quite infuriated that the supposedly warm and sweet atmosphere was broken by these bastards.

As Xu Feng took the lead to et eyes with Gordon, he wasted no ti.

"Either hand over the Azure Horse Mount or prepare to suffer my wrath!"

"Are you always this overbearing, Guild Leader Lin Feng?" Gordon narrowed his eyes and questioned.

Needless to say, he was trying to stall for ti and wait for reinforcents to arrive.

Unfortunately for him, Xu Feng wasn’t the typical protagonist who would constantly yap all day and do no action.

"You’ve left

with no choice." Xu Feng stabbed his staff on the ground. Soon, a domain was active, effectively debuffing Gordon and the rest of his mbers.

"Do it not, Lunar Wraith!" He called out to Carn.

In the blink of an eye, Carn snapped her fingers and activated Void Field.

As soon as the Void Field was cast, the area changed into a distorted field of darkness and gravity manipulation.

Gordon and the rest also quickly received a system warning of the subsequent status ailnt from Void Field’s effect.

-35% Movent Speed

-25% Attack Speed

Void Corrosion: Reduces Defense by 18% and causes minor damage over ti

Weakened Perception: Vision and spatial awareness beco blurred; ranged attacks are less accurate by 20%

"Team Leader, what should we do now?" One of Gordon’s subordinates raised his concern. "Our teleport and escape tools are disabled."

"My ragged scroll completely turned into a waste upon activation!" Another subordinate explained the dreadful situation.

"Save your pitiful effort!" Amidst their frantic-like behavior, Xu Feng casually revealed that the area had been locked down by him.

He didn’t spend a lot of ti setting up formations for nothing. He made sure to block off all exit paths, alongside any path of possible reinforcent.

Upon seeing the situation, Gordon knew their fate was sealed.

There was only one question on his mind right now.

"How in the world did you know about our secret raid?" Gordon tilted his head and asked in confusion. "This was a top-secret expedition, and we made sure to seal the news very tightly. Just how and when did you know about this?"

’It’s because I have cheat knowledge of the future!’ Xu Feng resisted the urge to say the truth aloud. It would have been hella funny to ss with soone who sabotaged his confession mont.

Did he seriously think his confession was a joke or spur of the mont?

For soone who ruined his day, Xu Feng shall gladly repay it twofold.

"Don’t you know the answer to the question already?" Xu Feng snickered and pointed at the sky.

"I have my informant to leak it out for

to learn. As for who it is, you don’t seriously think I’ll reveal it. And even if I did, do you dare to believe my words?"

Nodding, Gordon naturally knew what he ant. He took a deep breath and held his long sword.

"I know it’s going to be a losing battle, but I don’t want to go down without trying my best." Gordon narrowed his eyes and expressed his intention.

Seeing Gordon’s resolution, Xu Feng respected his action.

"You’ve got honor and integrity." He praised sincerely.

"Then—"

Before Gordon could respond, he quickly sensed his foot was wrapped up in so vines.

Alard, he stared at Xu Feng in disbelief.

"What’s the aning of this?" Gordon cried aloud.

"Integrity and honor are worth a fart in my eyes toward insignificant people." Xu Feng snorted and waved around his staff.

Soon, Gordon was quickly bombarded by a series of spells, followed by Carn’s offensive onslaught that had little to no cooldown in her rotation.
