Chapter 1298: Love Confession
A few minutes had gone by, and Xu Feng finally managed to persuade Carn to take a bite out of the food he had cooked.
"I swear, I won’t request her assistance anymore." Xu Feng raised three fingers up and swore.
"Why don’t I believe you?" Carn rolled her eyes at his so-called promise.
"n’s words can never be trusted, especially when they co from the mouth of a cunning four-eyed." She hissed. She had given this man too much face previously. She refused to forgive him this easily.
What type of n didn’t pursue her fiercely in the real world?

The fact that she was willing to lower herself and chase after him was already a major step back.
Yet what did he do?
Constantly giving her the cold shoulder and avoiding her!
Was she really that bad in his eyes?
Or did he think she was unworthy and didn’t deserve his love?
If so, then he might as well say it aloud. It would be much better than baiting and hanging her around.
"What do I need to do to earn your forgiveness?" Xu Feng’s tone softened, and he asked sincerely.
"I’m a very flawed person. The things I do might not be good, but I want you to know that I have never tried to hurt you in any form."
"You don’t want to hurt , but your actions said otherwise." Carn frowned and turned to face him. "That Evelyn clearly intended to eat you whole, and you still went to her. Do you know how much my heart is aching now?"
Xu Feng remained silent. He was unable to defend himself, especially when seeing her aggrieved and saddened look. The usually cheerful and carefree Carn becoming like this ached him.
’What am I so afraid of, huh?’ He clenched his fist and wondered what made him so hesitant to accept her love.
The past tiline was the past.
Even though he held so interest in the won in the past tiline, he didn’t interact much with them in the current tiline.
"Can you give
a chance to pursue you properly once this ambush is over?" Xu Feng extended his hand and gently held hers.
Carn’s body jolted slightly. Her eyes widened in disbelief as she looked at him in confusion.
"W-What did you just say?" She nearly choked on her saliva when she asked the question.
"I’ve said... Can you give
the chance to pursue you? I believe as a man, it’s only right that I do the chasing while you wait to accept ."

Carn’s heartbeat started beating rapidly when she heard his words.
"Can you repeat your words again?" She asked him.
"Please let
chase after you."
"Repeat again!"
"Let
pursue you."
"Again!"
This ti, Xu Feng didn’t bother to say again and directly pulled her for a close embrace.
He leaned his chin on her shoulder and whispered, "I say, give
a chance to beco your boyfriend."
Satisfied and pleased, Carn leaned her head on his shoulder as well, her hands wrapping around his back.
"Hmph, don’t think it’ll be easy to chase after a beauty like ." She pouted.
"Of course," Xu Feng’s heartbeat started to beat. This kind of feeling and emotion wasn’t that bad after all.
Although he didn’t know whether he would regret his decision today, he certainly can say for the ti being that he held no regrets.
Carn was frozen solid in place. Her brain had short-circuited from the unexpected love confession.
’He’s actually being serious? This wooden dork isn’t lying?’ Her inner self was practically screaming and running amok.
She was ready for multiple responses, but this particular one was sothing that had never crossed her mind.
Ti and ti again, she had witnessed his cold detachnt, almost as if he was constantly wary of sothing and afraid of stepping forward.
However, he actually mustered the courage and leapt over the hurdle directly.
Just when Carn was about to respond to his fiery pursuit, afraid it might be too late, her expression quickly turned fierce.
After all, she was indeed interrupted by none other than the raiding team of the Tuning Bloom Guild.
"Haha, we did it! We finally obtained the Azure Horse Mount!"
"After so many attempts, we finally got it! I’m so exhausted!"
"We’re definitely going to be rewarded and promoted later on. The resources and money spent on this raid were really not easy!"
While the raiding team appeared relatively laid back and relaxed, one person among them was actually silent.
"What’s the matter, Team Leader?" A mber noticed his unusual expression and asked.
The raiding Team Leader, Gordon, didn’t pay heed to his subordinates.
"Who are you people?" Gordon asked, his eyes narrowing at the far corner area.
"People?" Startled and alard, Gordon’s subordinates hurriedly assud a battle stance and trailed Gordon’s perspective.
However, they beca confused when they didn’t see anyone nearby.
"You’re all Tier 1, so you naturally can’t detect the invisibility spell." Gordon wasn’t surprised by their confusion. He was a newly promoted Tier 2, so he could detect the invisibility spell available only to those in Tier 2.
Of course, the invisibility spell wasn’t exactly OP.
Players who use it must stay in their position and are incapable of defending or attacking.
To summarize, it was only a useful skill to infiltrate the enemy base while remaining stationary.
"Are you two going to keep hiding like so turtle?" Gordon questioned coldly. He had no intention of being polite when it was obvious that these two players were lying in wait for them to finish the dungeon.
Not to ntion, his ssage notification nearly broke his eardrum due to the number of warnings he received about the scouts being annihilated in one move.
And the conclusion was that the culprit was none other than the Vanguard Guild Leader.
Gordon dared not relax even a little when the Vanguard Guild was ntioned.
Nevertheless, his composure was ultimately shaken when soone finally undid their invisibility spell.
"Why do people always interrupt my romantic monts?" Carn’s killing gaze was so overwhelming that it beca suffocating for the Tuning Bloom Guild raiding team.
