Chapter 1116: Master Thorin

Upon hearing Thorin’s speech, Xu Feng realized this father-complex bastard had long figured out his slyness from the very beginning.

It was no wonder he was so hostile to him and wanted him to suffer repeatedly.

As if verifying his thinking, Thorin finally revealed his insight.

"At first, I thought you were another one of those who wanted to take advantage of my skill and attempt to use my daughter. But then, I realized you might be a cunning brat; you held no ill intention toward my daughter."

"I naturally wouldn’t harm your daughter’s path."

Xu Feng might indeed be taking advantage of Fiona, but it was actually a win-win situation for both parties.

The advantage he took was rely discounts and additional priority when it cos to his equipnt or the guild. But in return, he offered her an abundance of resources and materials to hasten her progress in blacksmithing.

He never once skimd out or tried to be stingy with them.

As long as he had the resources that Fiona requested or required, he would offer them to her free of charge.

After all, he was the owner of the Arcane Vein! What he lacked the least was natural resources and materials to sustain her craft.

"You don’t need to explain yourself. My eyes are evidence enough to see through them." Thorin raised his hand to stop Xu Feng.

He could genuinely see that he ant well for his daughter. Not to ntion, the villagers whom Xu Feng had interacted with all spoke well of him.

This was especially true when Granny Nola repeatedly talked about his deed in ensuring the village’s safety amidst the intruder’s invasion.

Thorin still recalled how he had requested Xu Feng to resolve the issue, and how swiftly it was dealt with.

Even if the motivation behind it was to earn so rits and increase the relationship with the village, one could not deny that his deeds were genuine and helpful.

"You’ve really checkmated

this ti." Xu Feng exhaled deeply and raised his hands in surrender.

How long has it been?

The feeling of being cornered at a dead end with no hope of coming back.

Thorin truly played a good moveset to entrap him and force him to comply.

After all, his forceful play was still sothing Xu Feng desired from the beginning when he first made the discovery at Willowbrook Village.

"Alright, ti is tight here. Make up your mind, you little brat." Thorin crossed his arms and urged. He was positive that he would agree to his request. Otherwise, Xu Feng would have long thrown a fit and left in a puff.

Moreover, the confidence stemd from the fact that he knew Xu Feng was a clever and crafty brat.

"What else can I even say?" Xu Feng rolled his eyes. If he wanted the completion of the building to be fast, then he required Thorin’s help.

He didn’t plan on going to Yaren because he wasn’t sure she had the ti and patience to agree to it. Not to ntion, he still had quite a few ongoing missions from her.

"Do you even have the necessary materials to build multiple of them?" He questioned.

"Hahaha!" As if long anticipated that Xu Feng would be asking such a question, Thorin suddenly placed his hands by his hips.

"Whoops, did I forget to ntion that these youngsters who returned actually brought along many materials?" He laughed and continued, "If it weren’t for those materials, I wouldn’t have fixed hundreds of pieces of equipnt!"

The taunt and wicked grin from Thorin seriously made him look like a punchable sandbag.

’Calm yourself, Feng! You’re better than him!’ Xu Feng pacified himself and took a deep breath.

"Then, how long will it take you?" He questioned. The urgency of the defensive weapon was also tight for his town, and not just his village.

"Relax, I’m more anxious than you in this aspect." Thorin beckoned with his hand and signaled for Xu Feng to co over to his side.

Confused, he got up from his chair and walked toward him.

However, midway, his expression finally changed slightly when he saw the crowd gathered outside the blacksmith.

"What the?" Dumbfounded, he turned to Thorin, who simply flashed a cheeky smile.

"I’ve unleashed my aura earlier to alert them to co here." He boastfully said. "These youngsters might not appear much, but their awareness sure is at an all-ti high. Once they sensed my change of aura, they all rushed over here."

Realization quickly dawned upon Xu Feng. It appeared that Thorin was already three steps ahead of him.

Soti later, the duo walked outside, and Thorin began commanding the youngsters with a series of commands.

"One group should begin transporting all the materials to the entrance!"

"Another group needs to clear a vast space for the construction of a defensive structure!"

"Lastly, I’ll need another group to assist

in constructing. Rember, you need to have so understanding of reading a blueprint and the necessary tools to build to be qualified!"

The youngsters all saluted and readily got to work.

anwhile, Xu Feng planned on lazing out and finding a comfortable place to procrastinate.

Alas, Thorin didn’t seem to have any intention of letting him rest. Or at least not giving him the option to do so.

"You are free to rest, but I suppose you will miss out on my teaching." Thorin shook his head and lanted with a disappointed look. "And here I thought I would impart so valuable knowledge to increase your proficiency. But it’s whatever. You can just rest."

"What is rest, Master Thorin?" Like an energetic kid, Xu Feng swiftly appeared in front of Thorin and asked, "Where should we begin, Master Thorin? The disciple is ready to learn your techniques."

"Hah, what a shaless little brat you are!" Laughing wildly, Thorin gestured with his hand. "Follow . I don’t have the leisure to explain it over and over again. How much you can learn from my lecture is dependent on your learning capability."
