Chapter 1115: Deciphering
A few monts had passed since Thorin realized the significance of Xu Feng’s visit today.
"The deciphering price... I can charge you zero." Thorin suddenly offered. When he made his offer, he occasionally glanced at Xu Feng to see his reaction. To his disappointnt, his expression remained indifferent.
Contrary to the joy from being charged zero, Xu Feng actually appeared to be cautious and wary of him.
The expression might not be shown on the surface, but the body language and awkward atmosphere made it obvious.
"Are you not even a bit happy?" Thorin pressed on. "I’m giving you a generous offer by charging you zero for the deciphering."
"Yeah, save your fake generosity." Xu Feng rolled his eyes. "What’s the catch? If it’s not satisfactory, then you can forget about it."
If his daughter were to be present, then maybe he would have believed the generous offer.
However, without Fiona’s presence, and Thorin still tried to be magnanimous, he would be damned!
Realizing his superficial sche had failed, Thorin decided to co clean.
"Very well, I want so of the slots in the blueprint to be used in our village." He said, his eyes trailing to the windows.
"The youngsters returned with fruitful resources, but I knew that those resources couldn’t possibly be free. Based on their actions, I reckoned the resources ca from a deadly source."
"It seems like you’re not the only one who held such thoughts."
Previously, the conversation he had with Granny Nola made it obvious to him that she wasn’t just taking a walk. She was inspecting the youngsters who were crowding around the blacksmith and trying to think of a new recipe to improve them.
Not everyone was a poker face like him, who could lie in a heartbeat.
Soti later, Thorin unleashed his aura and worked on the blueprints.
’Aish, this son of a bitch!’ Xu Feng’s eyes widened in disbelief.
The discussion had yet to be completed, and this man had already begun with the work.
Wasn’t that equivalent to forcing him to comply and accept his request?
After all, forcefully stopping the deciphering process could potentially ruin the blueprint itself.

Although Thorin’s thod was considered rude and sowhat outrageous, that would only apply if their relationship was superficial.

Almost imdiately, he received the two blueprints, which were now decrypted and provided full instructions on how to construct them.
’Damn, this is really not easy.’ Xu Feng’s pupils constricted slightly. He had long anticipated that large-scale defensive artillery and turret systems would be resource-heavy to build.
It was just that he didn’t anticipate them to be so sky high!
Suddenly, Xu Feng noticed sothing was amiss. He lifted his head up, only to notice a sly grin on Thorin’s face.
Although Thorin didn’t bother to say anything, even a fool could tell what he was trying to convey.

No wonder he went ahead and deciphered the blueprints without receiving any paynt.
He must have known sothing about the blueprints themselves and waited until it was deciphered to entrap him!

Each of the blueprints contained precisely 3 slots. To summarize, there were a total of 6 large-scale defensive weapons that he could build.
Yet Thorin wanted to use a few of them while only offering to build one for him!
Wasn’t that no different than highway robbery?
As if anticipating what was going through Xu Feng’s mind, Thorin stood up and faked a cough.
"Let’s be honest here." He calmly said.

Xu Feng wanted to retort that loudly, but refrained from acting out. He knew losing his composure would only make him look more desperate.
Thus, he patiently waited to see what other crap Thorin wanted to spew.
"Deciphering is a difficult job. Any slight mishap, and you might lose all the information. This is probably why you sought , right?" Thorin stated and clasped his hands behind his back.
"I don’t know where or how you figured out my skills in deciphering. But what I do know is that you trust
enough to let
see the blueprints. Since that’s the case, wouldn’t you want to help
out this ti and improve our relationship?"
