The Tempest Guild was precisely the guild that the player who obtained the Epic Ranked Warship had joined.
The majority of the people, including him, had mistakenly believed Tempest mbers were able to dominate the naval territories so fiercely due to the Epic Ranked Warship factor.
But that was just a misconception—a misdirection to be more precise.
Rather than relying on a single warship, the Tempest Guild was actually having its mbers trained under the condition of Phantasm Sea.
Xu Feng had to cover his mouth slightly with his hand. This kind of information was sothing that could cause him to lose his composure.
"It appears that calling you a youngster was an understatent." Chao Shen suddenly said.
He noticed Xu Feng’s reaction was quite abnormal. No, it was more accurate to say he had more reaction toward the sea over his precious treasures.
"I don’t recall the library having many books related to the Phantasm Sea, but from your reaction, it’s clear that you know quite a lot." He added, seemingly calling Xu Feng out for his vast knowledge.
Xu Feng flashed a bittersweet smile and explained, "I didn’t gather this much Evershade rits through so luck or crook, Handso Chao. Most of the missions required vast knowledge and understanding of the sea and land."
Although it was sowhat of a lie since it was Zhao Kai who did the missions, he had truly studied Evershade City and its background. That was why he was so lost and frustrated when he failed to find the Phantasm Sea.
He only got the Bronze Ranked Warship after handling and dealing with Chao Shen to his liking for a prolonged ti.
Hence, he knew how to probe and stroke Chao Shen’s ego without going overboard.
"You’re right." Chao Shen nodded in agreent. "It’s precisely because you gathered so many Evershade rits that you were granted permission to witness the Phantasm Sea. If it weren’t for that, then one could forget about ever coming here."
Having said that, Chao Shen’s appearance underwent a swift change. From an ordinary old man, he now appeared dignified and noble. His clothes were also changed to a formal and luxury-kind, one that was embedded with many runes and formations.
His presence and aura alone were suffocating. It was mysterious enough to hold so kind of psychological effect that would prompt others to kneel in front of him.
However, Xu Feng had faced and dealt with many types of such people.
Thus, he was able to resist without changing much of his expression.
"Heh, whenever I reveal my true self, people always knelt and kept their heads low. But you could withstand my aura and remain perfectly still." Chao Shen praised him with a pleased look.
Afterward, he retrieved a small glass container and threw it into the sea.
A small "plop" could be heard from the ripple of water caused by the glass container.
But in the next instance, the water started trembling. Soon, a large portion of the water was covered by a mighty ship.
"The Epic Ranked Warship..." Xu Feng murmured as he recognized the design of this particular warship that had caused mayhem for many naval players.
"Yes, this is my prized treasure. An Epic Ranked Warship, also known as The Phantom Warship." Chao Shen didn’t react in surprise when his warship was identified by Xu Feng.
This was the least he should have been able to do if he knew about the Phantasm Sea and Shade Island. In other words, even if Xu Feng didn’t utter the rank of his warship, Chao Shen would still question the forr.
Xu Feng’s gaze was locked on the Phantom Warship. In his vision, he could already foresee the warship being in his possession.
Despite the excitent though, his facial expression remained unchanged. To allow one’s thoughts to be captured by another was a very grave mistake.
Rather than allowing them to know his real thoughts, he might as well lure them into a bait or misdirect them.
"Are we going to be heading to the mysterious Shade Island with this warship?" Xu Feng asked in an excited tone.
"Haha, you think I’m so ship’s pilot or a charitable person?" Chao Shen roared in laughter and retrieved his warship, containing it through a small glass once again.
"I only showed you this warship to let you know what you can receive if you manage to set sail and find Shade Island. There’s sothing that I’ve always been curious about, but a restriction was set by that powerful individual. Only qualified or those who t the requirent were eligible to attempt to find it."
Shortly after Chao Shen finished his monologue, Xu Feng promptly received a mission prompt from the System. His eyes were glued to the prompt as he began to read through it.

Objective:
Acquire a Siren’s Compass (crafted using items found in sea-based dungeons).
Discover the location of 3 Abyssal Tide Beacons scattered across different coastal maps.
Use the compass to navigate through the Phantasm Sea and locate Shade Island.
Trigger the Phantom Seal and activate the Shade Island Discovery Flag.
Requirents:
Must be Level 35 or above
Must have access to Sea Navigation (via Ship or Mariti Mount)
Must be in possession of a Sea Chart Fragnt (can be bought or looted)
