Chapter 1038: Shade Island

Chao Shen was one relentless old man who refused to give up halfway. He spent the next 10 minutes trying to sell Xu Feng multiple products that benefited him.

However, each and every product of his sales would be shot down by Xu Feng.

The reason behind it also varied from his satisfaction with his current equipnt or he wasn’t eligible to wear the product anyti soon or he wasn’t interested in its attributes, etc.

In hindsight, the more Chao Shen wanted to sell, the faster he got shot down and rejected.

And at this mont, Chao Shen was starting to question the treasures he had been hoarding.

’Could it be these treasures are inadequate or this youngster’s eyes are blind as hell?’ Chao Shen gnashed his teeth in frustration.

In the past, so many newcors who were granted permission here all had their eyes glued to one or many of his treasures. He was able to tempt them in less than 10 minutes, but this particular youngster appeared to be numb at everything.

How could he not be frustrated?

"Are you here to ss with ?" Chao Shen raised his tone.

"Why would I be ssing with you, Handso Chao?" Xu Feng scratched his head and explained, "You’ve said not to touch anything and follow you. When did I ever break away from your instruction?"

"..."

Realizing that the fault really didn’t lie on the youngster, Chao Shen felt embarrassed. To think he got offended because soone didn’t take any interest in the treasures that he had his eyes on was laughable.

"You’re right." Chao Shen placed his items back on the display shelves and locked them. "I lost my composure earlier because you didn’t even seem to glance at my treasures much. So I thought you weren’t interested in my collection."

"What’s there to not be interested?" Xu Feng raised an eyebrow. "Although I knew their worth and value, these are your precious collections. How could I possibly harbor many thoughts about it?"

"Huh? So you’re not glancing at it to avoid loving my treasure?"

"Naturally. Don’t you know it’s hard to resist sothing when you stare at it for too long, but easier to resist if the eyes don’t see much?"

A mont of silence consud the atmosphere before Chao Shen burst out in laughter.

Such flawless logic spoken in such a deadpan expression had truly caused him to beco excited.

"At least you’re honest and not so hypocrite youngster." Chao Shen nodded in approval before rembering he had yet to learn the youngster’s na.

"Right, what is your na or at least the na you wish to be addressed as?" Since he preferred to be addressed as Handso Chao, he naturally wouldn’t push others to reveal their actual na.

"Handso Chao can just call

Youngster or Nathan. I’m in disguise right now to avoid complications and I am unable to undo it at the ti being. Do forgive ." Xu Feng cupped his fist and responded.

As for why he revealed his disguise, Xu Feng had a feeling that the latter seed to know he was under so alias.

Even though the Mirage Pendant was powerful, he understood that it wasn’t omnipotent. Chao Shen might not have been able to detect anything was missing from his disguise, but given the forr’s experience and keen perception, it was hard for their instinct to not trigger.

Sure enough, the decision to co clean was correct when Chao Shen casually waved his hand. "Disguise or not, as long as you’re not a vile criminal who hard the innocent and weak, I don’t care."

"I thank Handso Chao for the understanding." Xu Feng bowed and expressed his gratitude.

"Everyone has their own secret, so I won’t pry on them." Chao Shen didn’t accept this kind of gratitude and continued to move along. Having understood Xu Feng’s principle, he no longer intended to be a salesman and proceeded deeper into the dinsion.

Ti quickly went by, and Xu Feng started to feel a cold breeze brushing past him.

"Where are we?" He asked curiously.

"Oh, and here I thought you weren’t going to ask anything." Chuckling in amusent, Chao Shen smirked. "I’m sure you know we’re in another dinsion, right."

"Indeed. We have walked for a while and a small shipyard couldn’t possibly be this big."

"Clever youngster. What we’re about to be is an open sea—one that leads to Shade Island."

THUD!

Suddenly, Xu Feng’s footsteps paused and his eyes widened in shock.

"Shade Island? We’re walking on a path that leads to Shade Island?" He asked in a dumbfounded tone.

"Oho, seems like you’re knowledgeable about this legend of Shade Island. Though I reckon you would have a few ideas since you gathered so many rits."

Despite Chao Shen’s casualness, Xu Feng was in a stunned lock position for once.

All along, he thought the rits would be able to be exchanged for the Epic Ranked Warship, but never once did it cross his mind that this was actually a prerequisite to enter the mysterious Shade Island.

Shade Island was shrouded in complete mystery, but it was recorded in the library. The island was capable of changing the very essence of a player, similar to the Holy Sanctuary, albeit different in circumstances.

"Handso Chao, you actually have the key to enter this mysterious and rumored island?" Xu Feng asked, his breath sowhat uneasy.

"Why? Do you think just because I look old, I should be senile?"

"Of course, not! I was just astonished by the revelation."

Chao Shen smirked and snapped his fingers. Soon, a blinding light flashed upon them, forcing Xu Feng to squint his eyes.

A few seconds later, large waves hitting hard by the edges of the cliff could be heard.

They have arrived at the open sea, or more specifically, the Phantasm Sea.

"The Phantasm Sea, a creation by the god that contained the most mysterious elents." Chao Shen exclaid in vigor. "Evershade City was constructed above this beautiful sea, completely oblivious of what it had missed out on."
