A total of 5 minutes had gone by since Natasha went dead silent. She was deeply pondering how to overco this hurdle and avoid being suspicious.
"Woman, are you going to keep stalling?" As she was deep in thought, Xu Feng asked in annoyance.
"If you’re not going to join the chamber of comrce, then stop blocking others from doing so. Or are you just broke and realized you made a fool of yourself?" He added, clearly egging on Natasha.
Infuriated, Natasha was on the verge of killing Xu Feng. She wasn’t even debating about the cost of joining the Chamber of Comrce. She was considering how she could avoid being affiliated with them in case she did join.
In her social circle, even if she had joined for a brief mont, that alone could easily cause nurous impacts.
Moreover, it could even sour their relationship with Miracle Pavilion.
The Illuminati was a mber of the Miracle Chamber of Comrce and bought many items through their channels.
If they were to lose this channel simply because of her impulsive action of joining another chamber of comrce, then it was obvious that her position in Illuminati would be in jeopardy.
"You’re Kailey, right? This custor of yours is clearly wasting both your and my ti. Why not just refund the money to her and we can move along with the conversation elsewhere?" Xu Feng suddenly suggested.
He purposely gave a side glance at Natasha, flashing a disdainful gaze to imply his disgust.
In response, Kailey was hesitant, unsure of what to do in this type of situation. This was especially true when she had no idea who the man in front of her was.
After all, to ensure maximum secrecy, Xu Feng refrained from hinting or notifying Kailey anything about him being the Guild Leader.
In Kailey’s eyes, he was truly just a passerby who happened to overheard their conversation and wished to join in.
"Oh, right, I haven’t introduced myself. I’m Nathan, a non-affiliated player." He clasped his hands and apologized for the late introduction. To ensure Kailey believed him, he even went as far as to display his status screen.

The status screen was very brief, only highlighting the player’s na, class, and level. This was to ensure players could still keep most of their attributes and other sensitive information private to themselves. Of course, players could still choose to reveal the in-depth status screen if they opted to do so.
The system only offered this particular status screen display for basic verification and authentication.
When Kailey and Natasha realized this unknown player was actually level 48, their expression turned solemn.
This could be considered the highest level they had seen in the Divine World.
What they remained unaware of was that the level was falsified by Xu Feng.
His real level had yet to reach 40 and it wasn’t because he was idling or stalling. Instead, he was waiting for a particular event that would boost him to the top.
"Mister Nathan, I might be occupied right now, but I can send you to soone who will register you with our Vanguard Chamber of Comrce." Kailey might not be able to ditch Natasha, but that didn’t stop her from sending soone else to address Nathan.
Only a real buffoon would let such a high-level player leave on a sour or salty note. Although it ant that she had to share the credit with another mber, Kailey didn’t mind sharing it if it was beneficial to the guild.
Her thought process and actions were vividly captured by Xu Feng, who was satisfied with Kailey’s behavior and reaction to unexpected situations.

"Alright, do send soone to . I got the money and was not hesitant like so other people." Xu Feng nodded and readily agreed to the suggestion.
Naturally, he didn’t miss the opportunity to take a jab at Natasha for hesitating.
Sure enough, the provocation worked wonderfully. After all, the person who made such a remark was qualified to talk down on others when he was level 48.
Thus, Natasha was affected and felt infuriated. So what if he was high-level and wealthy?

to soone else because a woman is so petty and ugly on the inside who refuses to share the glory."
"Who is petty and ugly?" Natasha shouted in disdain.
"If you can afford the fee then feel free to stay here and listen. But don’t embarrass yourself if you don’t have enough money. A chamber of comrce is never cheap to join." She continued.
Xu Feng ignored her jestering and waited patiently for Kailey to drop the nuke.
"The Vanguard Chamber of Comrce only requires 10 silver coins to join. But if one offers a minimum of 2 gold coins when joining, they can instantly gain the mbership of the training hall and enter in advance." Kailey smiled brightly and said.
"What the shit?" At long last, Natasha finally lost her composure and cursed in astonishnt.
What kind of chamber of comrce costs that much to join?
No, that wasn’t even the problem. It was that you still needed to cough up an additional 2 gold coins to gain the mbership.
