Alberto feels as if he is sinking into darkness. All the mories of his life flashed in his eyes.
He saw his childhood ho, a modest structure with peeling paint and a creaky porch. He could hear the laughter of his siblings, the warmth of sumr days spent playing in the yard.
Then ca the pivotal monts of his youth: the day he enlisted, filled with a mix of pride and trepidation; the camaraderie forged in training, where friendships blossod amidst the gruelling drills; and the first ti he held a rifle.
As the mories continued to cascade, he felt the weight of loss. The faces of friends who had fallen in battle flashed before him— He rembered the laughter shared over campfires, the quiet monts of reflection, and the promises made to return ho.
As the mories swirled faster, Alberto felt a sense of urgency.
With a final surge of will, Alberto reached out into the abyss.
Just then he hears a noise.
"Who— ?!"
The voice was like thunder, shaking the very fabric of his being. Alberto's eyes adjusted to the intense brightness, and he saw a being unlike any he had ever imagined. The being was enormous, with skin that shimred like the stars on a clear night. Its eyes burned with an inner fire, and its presence was both calming and terrifying at the sa ti.
"W—What You Want?! I— Are You a grim reaper??" Alberto said his voice trembling
«I am not, Human »
" Then Who are You???—"
«I have no na, yet I am known by many titles: the God , the Guardian, the Truth, the Observer, and more. These nas reflect my role and purpose, but none can truly capture the essence of my being.» the being said, its voice like a thunder « I want to reincarnate you in another world.»
Alberto's mind reeled. Reincarnated ? In another world? What did that even an?
"Why ?" Alberto asked
« Because I have chosen you. You will be sent to another world. You have to save that planet»
Alberto's mind was still reeling from the sudden turn of events. He had gone from being a soldier on the brink of death to being chosen by a god for reincarnation. It was too much to take in.
Alberto's eyes slowly closed, and he felt himself being pulled into a dark abyss. But then a brilliant light burst forth, illuminating the darkness. He raised his hand, shielding his eyes from the intensity of the light.
As the light faded, Alberto found himself standing in a vast, unknown landscape. The sky was a deep shade of purple. He looked around, trying to understand what happening.
The Guardian stood before him, its presence imposing and awe-inspiring. «You are now in my domain, human. I will grant you great power and strength, but in return, you must do as I command. Will you accept this task, human?»
Alberto was taken aback by the Guardian's words. He had always been a brave and courageous man, but this was a daunting task. He hesitated, unsure of what to do.
"I...I don't know," Alberto stamred. "This is a lot to take in. What exactly do you an by 'Save that world'? From Whom? And what kind of power are we talking about?"
The Guardian regarded him with a patient expression. «You will have the power to shape the very fabric of reality, You will be able to create and destroy, to bring life and death. But with this power cos great responsibility. You must use it wisely, for the fate of this world rests in your hands.»
Alberto felt a surge of excitent and fear coursing through him. He had always been one to take risks, but this was on a whole different level.
"I...I need so ti to think about it," Alberto said, trying to stall for ti.
The Guardian of Balance nodded. «Very well. You have one hour to decide. If you reject this offer you will be sent back to the afterlife.»
Alberto nodded, his mind racing with thoughts and doubts. He looked around, trying to take in everything about this strange new world. He saw the Guardian standing before him, its eyes burning with an inner fire.
And he knew that he had to make a choice.
With a deep breath, Alberto made his decision. "I accept," he said, his voice firm and resolute.
The Guardian raised its hand, and a glowing orb appeared before them. « I have given you a system. With this, you will have the ability to shape the fate of this universe and its inhabitants.»
Alberto watched in awe as the orb floated towards him, rging with his body. A surge of energy coursed through him, filling him. He feels the power.
«It will teach you how to use your power,» the Guardian continued. «But rember, with great power cos great responsibility. You must tread carefully, for the fate of this Universe rests in your hands.»
"I Understand," Alberto nodded, steeling himself for the challenges that lay ahead.
A portal opens in front of Alberto. Shimring with an otherworldly energy.
