"A hilt is enough for you for now," the subconscious Aaron stated, his voice steady and regal.

"Any more and this entity will be destroyed," he explained simply, as if stating an obvious truth.

"System override. Increase the rank of Primordial Gale to one origin rank," the bloodline presence ordered.

[System override activated. Congratulations! You have received the origin rank bloodline, Gale father.]

"Good. This should be a good enough reward for wrecking my body," subconscious Aaron murmured, a faint note of satisfaction in his tone as he swung the hilt casually through the air, testing its perfect balance.

And finally, he opened his eyes.

Gone were the usual eyes that once resembled the vast universe. Now they appeared as an endless white void, deep and infinite, stretching into nothingness. Within that pure white expanse, black inscriptions of infinity interlocked and spun slowly, like ancient runes dancing in perfect harmony.

"Hmm. What’s this now, Aaron?" Aegon asked, his smile widening with genuine curiosity. "This is well beyond my calculations."

"Silence, dog," subconscious Aaron replied coldly, his voice carrying the weight of absolute authority. "I will deal with you when I see fit. But until then, know your place."

With those new legend eyes, he scanned his own body, instantly noticing the anomalies that should never have existed — faint traces of contamination lingering deep within.

"System. Activate purging sequence and clean my soul," he instructed. "My clones have been contaminated."

[Cleansing in process...]

[Cleansing complete.]

"Now, over to you," subconscious Aaron continued, turning his gaze fully toward Aegon. His presence radiated pure regality and unshakeable arrogance. "I should kill you for daring to defy , a royalty of the legend race. I will only spare you because you seem passable as a pawn that can stimulate my main self and push him toward growth. Consider yourself lucky. Not many receive such rcy."

"You... how dare you talk to like that!" Aegon roared, his voice cracking with raw anger for the first ti. He was visibly agitated, deeply offended by the casual dismissal.

Being called a re pawn stung bitterly, but what infuriated him even more was the fact that he could no longer comprehend the being standing before him.

Deciding to push himself to the limit, Aegon channeled every ounce of his mystic brain and the implanted mystic eyes within Ego. He focused intently on Aaron, desperate to uncover the secret behind this sudden transformation.

"Arghhh!!!" Aegon scread in agony as his eyes exploded into a ssy pulp of blood and fluid.

"Fool," subconscious Aaron said in a condescending tone, almost pitying. "You dare to defy with the dead eyes of my father? Just how arrogant have you grown, pest?"

The next mont, he simply stared at Aegon.

The instant his legend eyes locked onto him, Aegon felt every single layer of his existence laid completely bare. No secret, no hidden thought, no fragnt of his past or future remained concealed from that piercing gaze.

"A fool who tried to play king," subconscious Aaron observed calmly. "Quite the pitiful past and future you have. Consider yourself lucky that I will spare you."

"Don’t kid !" Aegon roared again, his composure shattering completely as he lost all restraint.

He moved swiftly toward Aaron, launching the sa precise attacks that had worked so well before.

But this was no longer the sa Aaron. He could not land a single hit.

"System, temporarily restrict the ability of this fool," subconscious Aaron ordered without emotion.

[Restriction activated.]

Aegon’s eyes widened in sheer panic. The mont the command was spoken, he lost complete control over his body, every muscle freezing instantly.

"Again, the only reason I’m sparing you is because you are good fertilizer for ," subconscious Aaron said calmly, his voice laced with cold indifference. "So don’t accept your fate quietly. Struggle as much as you can."

He raised the hilt upward in a slow, deliberate motion. Then, with one casual swing, he sliced through Aegon.

"Ahhhhhh!!" Aegon scread in horror as Ego’s entire body disintegrated instantly into nothingness. The illusory knight piece hidden within Ego shattered along with it.

The craziest part was the sheer control behind the strike — an attack powerful enough to destroy an entire origin plane had been perfectly restrained, affecting only Ego and leaving the surrounding space untouched.

Aaron stood calmly in the now-empty space, the hilt still resting lightly in his grip.

"System, fix every damage to this world and completely erase the battle footprint from ti and space."

[Erasure completed.]

"Good," subconscious Aaron murmured with quiet approval.

He closed his eyes as the bloodline presence finally retreated, slipping back into deep slumber.

----

"Aaronnnnnn!!!!!" Aegon roared, his voice cracking with raw fury that echoed through the sterile chamber.

The attack from Aaron had struck deeper than expected, reaching all the way to his main body. Pain flared hot and sharp for a brief mont before fading.

"I’m so going to kill him," Aegon muttered under his breath. Just seconds after the outburst, his expression smoothed back into perfect calm, as if the rage had never existed.

Aegon lay connected to several thick tubes that snaked across his frail form, feeding directly into his veins.

The life support system was nothing like the simple machines found in ordinary hospitals.

It was highly advanced, humming softly as it pumped pure energy and nutrient-rich fluids straight into his body.

Yet despite the constant supply, Aegon looked dried up and emaciated, his skin stretched tight over sharp bones like soone who had been starving for years.

Around him, scientists of various races moved with quiet efficiency. They worked in perfect sync, constantly checking monitors and adjusting controls with focused precision.

"Sir, your heart rate temporarily spiked," the lead scientist reported, his voice steady and professional.

"I’m aware," Aegon replied, his voice so weak it was barely more than a whisper. "I t an annoying foe. But it’s alright now."

"Alright, sir," the scientist answered, nodding once before returning to his monitors.

Lying motionless in the reinforced bed, Aegon couldn’t help but frown deeply. The lines on his face deepened with frustration.

"Damn this frail body," he muttered coldly. "The mont I secure a passable vessel, all of this will end."

A wry smile slowly crept across his lips, thin and dangerous.

"Aaron Highborn," he swore quietly, his mind already spinning at full speed. "You will regret not killing ."

His thoughts raced as he simulated thousands of possible outcos in rapid succession.

The chess pieces in his head arranged themselves into countless variables, each bordering on infinite scenarios.

Speaking of infinite outcos, Aegon tried to recall the recent battle with Aaron in clear detail. He wanted to replay it, to find other ways he could have won.

But strangely, he found he couldn’t. The mory felt vague and distant, like sothing forever lost in the flow of ti.
