The boy and his mother simply waited, expecting the strange insect to drop dead any second.

But their expectation never ca.

Instead, the weird-looking "insect" flew straight toward them.

"Ahhhhh!!!!" both of them cried out, turning to run in blind panic.

"Just stay put for God’s sake!" Aqua shouted in frustration.

He had never felt such a strong urge to kill soone before.

Yet he held himself back until he could understand exactly what was happening in this universe.

Clicking his tongue in irritation, Aqua called upon his siren bloodline.

He began to sing a soft, enchanting song.

The lody wrapped around the mother and child like invisible chains, trapping them instantly in a powerful lullaby.

"Tch. Should have done this from the start," Aqua said, sounding tired.

Using the hypnosis of the song, he took full control of the duo and asked them specific questions about the universe.

He could only gather knowledge about their imdiate world. Nothing about the wider universe.

The reason was simple: no human, as they called themselves, had ever been beyond their own atmosphere.

And above all, they had no idea they were colossal beings. To them, they were simply normal humans of ordinary height.

In this world, there was no power, at least none that anyone knew about. Only science and technology ruled everything.

The universe, or perhaps the multiverse Aqua had found himself in was the very sa one Aaron had originally co from.

He could not be one hundred percent sure, but his conviction felt rock-solid.

Especially after realizing there was no trace of any supernatural power here.

"So you are not going to hurt us?" the young boy asked, his voice still carrying a hint of fear.

"No. I don’t plan to do that," Aqua replied, waving off the boy’s worry with a calm gesture.

After gathering all the information he needed, Aqua had already released the hypnosis. Of course, he made sure to keep them from screaming again.

"So what are you? A secret governnt experint?" the boy pressed, eyes wide with curiosity.

"Nope. I’m soone from another universe entirely," Aqua explained truthfully.

"Wow. Another universe? That’s aweso!" the young boy exclaid, his voice rising with pure excitent.

"Shhhh. Keep your voice down, Adrian," his mother scolded gently. "You don’t want to alert the neighbors."

"Anyways, I happen to be stuck in your universe for now," Aqua thought aloud. "But staying like this will draw way too much attention."

He transford once more, shifting into a water titan form.

His size grew smoothly until he matched Adrian’s exact height.

He refused to look like a dwarf next to the boy, and he definitely did not want to raise any more suspicion.

Aqua also reshaped his face, making himself appear younger, like he belonged to the sa age group as Adrian.

"I will be here for a while," Aqua said politely. "I hope you guys won’t mind accommodating ."

"Take your ti," Adrian replied, his face lighting up with genuine happiness.

"My dad is hardly ever ho, and we have plenty of free rooms."

Being alone all day had clearly been weighing on the boy. Finding soone new to talk to felt like a rare gift.

"Adrian, it’s ti to go to school," Mrs. Celine inford her son. "It’s your first day."

"Mum. Can I not go to school today?" Adrian asked, giving her the biggest puppy eyes he could manage.

"Absolutely not."

"Then can Aqua co with ?" Adrian suggested brightly. "He’s a child too and needs to go to school."

"I’d rather not," Aqua refused instantly.

"Co on. It’s not a bad idea actually," Mrs. Celine said, warming up to her son’s idea.

"You will need to act normal if you want to stay undercover."

With no good way to argue against it, Aqua had no choice but to agree. He cursed his rotten luck under his breath.

The tournant had already begun in full force.

Far from what many had expected before arriving, Splitting Heaven dominated every single section of the competition.

The arena itself was breathtaking. Aaron had constructed it personally, and the result was beyond perfect, grand stands that stretched into the sky, flawless barriers pulsing with quiet power, and an atmosphere thick with anticipation.

Dignitaries from across the entire continent had shown up, including the Emperor himself, who sat right beside Aaron.

Within the tournant, one young girl shone brighter than anyone else, the sa girl Aaron had saved not long ago.

"Hmm. That young child is very strong," the Emperor muttered, watching her flawless performance. "She has been nothing short of perfect the entire ti."

"I know," Aaron replied calmly, taking a slow sip of the tea in front of him. "She is the best disciple in her sect."

"Even more so, since she is mine," the Emperor added with a sharp smile.

"But of course you already knew that, didn’t you?" he asked, turning to look at Aaron.

"I don’t," Aaron answered evenly. "As far as I know, she is a free girl allowed to make her own decisions however she wants."

"I heard you are very powerful," the Emperor continued, his tone growing heavier.

"Feared by every sect leader. But I am different from them. I have resources you should actually fear."

"You don’t say," Aaron muttered with a faint smile, still sipping his tea quietly.

"ssing with will do you more harm than good, to be honest," the Emperor warned. "Let’s avoid that path.

Return her to , and you can continue playing god. I won’t cross your path, and you won’t cross mine."

"You know, Emperor," Aaron said, rising slowly to his feet.

The tournant had finally ended. Splitting Heaven claid total victory in the end.

"You made so grave mistakes," Aaron continued, his voice calm yet cold.

"The first was coming here with those demonic bastards. The second was trying to negotiate with . I don’t do well with negotiations."

A small smile played on his lips as he stretched out his hand.

The Emperor looked confused.

Before he could even begin to understand what was happening, a man suddenly appeared, held tightly by the neck in Aaron’s grip.

"Let show you what happens to soone who offends ," Aaron said coldly.

The main purpose of the tournant was finally beginning.
