I follow the servant close, two steps away from Ethan, and the tension must have swept over to the man at the front as he too speeded up to the point that were rushing in a fast pace that makes us reach the dining hall first than the others.

Not that I was running away from him or anything, just in a hurry to get this over with and have so ti to think over this morning’s events and what did it ant... to at least.

Looking over the dining room I bet that each and every inch inside such a big flying edifice must have cost a fortune, weighting the flying ship down and requiring not only the space itself but more material and better motors to keep it afloat for adding weight to it, so coming in the dining hall and having to bend my head back to take high ceiling in all the way up to its half circular wooden beans is a completely waste of space and totally made just for showing off his wealth and power, although I have to say he had done a great job of impressing thus far, not that I cared for his money anyway.

And yet as impressive and opulent it is, as anything regarding this auction house thus far has been, with big round chandeliers and enough space to spare around it as they swag above our heads, a long table and even a big lit fireplace, worthy of belonging to a king’s round table inside a stone castle, not up in a ship.

"Please take a sit, master Fraser will be here shortly." With a small bow the servants leaves us, and tea in hands we wait for the others to arrive as well, and now that I had only a few handful of people to look at I could tell the cultivators apart, which many other sharp eyed ones did too, all looking calm and collected but with roaming eyes taking the place and the others in.

The voluptuous red dressed woman cultivator with her whip and followers, the quiet sharp eyed man standing on the wall to the side, the coward yet foxy greedy talking loudly with the average looking ones, which were the majority, the bulky huge man to the side, completely at easy and laughing out loud, but as much as they interested to so point, on the other side my curiosity is rely professional as I keep my guard up, and I soon grow uninterested in them, especially when they start their aningless verbal debates and try showing off themselves as the strongest of them all, useless challenges, talking how the others presences in this quest are aningless while they were there, only parts of what they are saying is loud enough for my indifferent brain to register.

"If you are so good why bring so many little lackeys woman?!"

"For such a brawl man you have no sense of respect!"

"There is only one way to settle this!"

"I’ll make you taste my whip!"

The mont the discussion gets heated up enough for the man to push the chair aside with strength and the woman to snap her whip in the air, leaving a mark on the table with the re brush of the sharp gust of wind created by it, I’m quick enough to take my drink off from it before she spilled it, sipping at it as their fight break and end up with the table rolling to the side.

As they are screaming at each other I take my ti to sip my drink while is still warm, remaining at my sit as if unaffected by it all, unmoved by the chaos around , and even Ethan stood his ground, having to stand so he wasn’t smashed off his chair, but soon after standing behind and putting his hands at the back of my chair, at ease with the grown children fighting in the room and with a smile on his face with his proximity with as I had kept my back to him thus far, fingers brushing my shoulders and the warmth making tense, far too aware of his presence behind my back.

The amused aura that the others had, however, including ourselves, is broken when, in such a confined space, their fight starts hurting others, flying up and around and even breaking expensive things lay about, their fight only stopping montarily when her whip cos soaring in my direction after being blocked by the big guy who had already destroyed half the furniture with his big sword and moves while brawling with the mob and the woman to boot, and as much as they did seem capable enough at fighting is seed to take their good sense away of them, especially when troubling people indiscriminately and courting death by doing so.

And one of those people is the devil standing right beside that grabbed the whip barehanded before it could hit or my own defenses, unnecessarily hurting his hand.

But the act, and the anger in his eyes are enough to make both cultivators stop fighting and look at the bigger predator that they just poked at.

And even I, with my back turned, could feel the heat of his gaze, the power swooping from his pores, and even if I’m only been able to see his arms I can tell his anger is increasing, muscles tensing, veins thickening with the boiling blood flowing.

His bloodlust is so intense that the fighters freeze in place under his intense gaze, but I am not granted with the knowledge of what he would have done next for our patron arrives at that exact mont, and he does not look very please with the ss made although his eyes oddly stay put on Ethan even though it is clear who the guilty ones are.

"So barbaric of you lot, but I guess I did not expect it to be any other way." Even if his words were ant for the fighting ones, with his eyes staring right at Ethan it seems to be aid at him, and I’m sure he feels the sa when his hand grips the chair behind harden. "Don’t you think?"

"Could not have agreed more." He says between gritted teeth, but next it is my ti to be stared at, as if only now he has realized I was in the room, and only because of Ethan’s proximity to .

And I could tell, under that sharp gaze, at the second his aura seeps by his façade, that having him interest in would not be good at all, all confird as he raises his eyebrows and yet analyses like a piece of at on the market, evaluating my price and value.

And just how much he could get out of .

At that Ethan steps in between us, covering my vision of the other, and I can only hear his amused voice when he chuckles and moves his arm to the side, and the tickle of magic is so sleek that he had already activated the devices on the walls by the ti I felt it in the air, raising the bronze tubes that, like snakes, twisted and turned and locked themselves around the two fighting cultivators brats, dragging them to the walls and locking their limbs in place against the stones under the wailing curses of both, until even their mouths were shut and only their blinking furious eyes remained out with their noses.

Lewis Fraser hit the floor with his cane in a loud bang, clearly satisfied with the results, and with the foxy smile in place he turns back to us and says:

"Now that the children were grounded the adults can talk business, shall we?" He says, and with one flicker of his cane pulls the table back in place, sitting at the very end of it with both hands resting on top of the cane, looking ominous with the information he is about to give.

"For I may start with... handing you your contracts."
