I sighed in frustration as Aria ignored again. Did she think that was a type of punishnt? What would she do if she knew that I killed 2 people — punch again?
That was her last year, the year when they would make the students start killing demons, so she definitely killed soone too... right?
"I understand why everyone is calling this addictive." Sitting beside , Selene suddenly spoke, holding an aura core in her right hand and a half-eaten cookie in her left.
Just like her, I was also absorbing so aura cores. They were the loot we gathered from so monsters.
The effect wasn’t as good as the demon core from before, but it was WAY better than Lynn’s core.
"That’s the last one with ." I said while absorbing the last aura core.
After absorbing the core, I examined the new look of the store in satisfaction.
Selene, Glutton and I were sitting on a couch behind a long counter like the ones in inns and bars. In front of us, the place was filled with luxurious tables and chairs like a restaurant.
In our back, there was a door that led to a small kitchen for making all types of earthen drinks — except alcohol — and food.
On the second floor, there were empty standings and wall racks that would be used to display the artifacts in the future.
And for now, the third floor was empty without a change.
Those were the changes I made in the past hours. I decided to not only sell artifacts but also food!
Of course, I wasn’t going to start the job today. There were so things I needed to do first.
"Selene," I stood up, "Thank you for your help until now. You can leave if you want."
Selene raised an eyebrow. "Why? Will you go sowhere?"
I nodded while grabbing Glutton from the neck. "I’ll go to my workshop — I have to make so artifacts to sell, after all."
"I’ll stay with you." She said while standing up. "I have nothing better to do anyway."
I shook my head. "You can train or read in the library. You have nothing to gain from watching work."
All of a sudden, she grabbed my arm and pulled to the workshop. "My secondary profession is rune-inscribing — I have too much to learn from you~"

I apologized to Selene, my voice barely a whisper, as she took to the elevator.
While working on the workshop, I exaggerated while making a lightning sword and ended up in a bad state of ntal exhaustion.

She wasn’t carrying like a princess, no. She carried over her shoulder like a bag of potatoes! And her glowing body made it even worse for my already blurry vision.

The next mont, we entered the elevator together. The girls talked for so ti before reaching Liora’s floor.
"I’ll take my leave. Thank you for the help." Liora bowed slightly to Arthur and Elara before leaving for her suite.
Arthur and Elara waved to her with a smile before the elevator’s door closed.
Selene tilted her head at them. "Help?"
Arthur nodded. "She got a decent store as a reward. We just helped her in decorating it."
Selene nodded as the elevator’s door suddenly opened.
"I’ll take him to rest now. It was nice to see you!" They waved at each other as the door finally closed.
Finally, Selene took into our suite before throwing into the bed.
"Ouch..."
The next mont, Selene moved to the door. "I’ll go take a quick shower."
"Sure sure..."
After she left, my eyes landed on Glutton. A small vial appeared suddenly on my hand as I put it on his beak.
"Go to the training room... eat everything and try drinking this mana potion."

When he left, I changed into my comfortable sleeping clothes. A few minutes later, Selene entered the room wearing a white nightdress.

I couldn’t feel or taste, but I could see, sll and hear clearly.
The identity of that body hit my mind.
