By using the "Mountain Shield" to artificially create barriers that restricted the Earth Dragons’ movents, not only did the Earth Dragons crash headlong into the shield as it was deployed, but players could also hide behind the "X"-shaped supports and attack relentlessly.
With this gear specifically suited for that dungeon, players achieved an almost brilliant performance.
The undead rcenaries from Lancaster Territory were already well-known in the circles of the Border Lords for their professional attitude, efficient combat thods, and a fearless spirit.
To achieve such a level, albeit partially due to the players’ inherently risky behavior, no one could ignore the mass production of small-caliber magic guns and so special equipnt that only players could utilize, thanks to Jiu Yue Heavy Industries.
After all, who didn’t know that players, leveraging their undead nature, could use so suicidal tactics as if they were normal attacks, making them truly ferocious.
Because players adhered to such a mindset, completely different from the natives, Kael decided to bring Jiu Yue Heavy Industries’ team to Wandong City.
Kael did not think that just because Rangers killed many mbers of the Dwarf Army or so Elf Rangers in "Embers of the Empire," the threat from the Tribes should be taken lightly.
The combat thods effective against Dwarves and Elf Rangers might, in battles against Barbarians, be the key reason for their own defeat.
This minor difference might not be so evident in ordinary dungeon battles, but in real battles against actual enemies, it might be a different story.
No matter what reason the Barbarians had for invading his Lancaster, Kael would treat them as a mortal enemy in the confrontation.
The Rangers under his command were even more so.
The deterrence power of the Hundred Battle Army never lied in their numbers exceeding those of ordinary armies, but in the tactics for dealing with powerful enemies accumulated through nurous wars.
