Kael felt his ntal state was sowhat off.

He had not experienced this groggy feeling after waking up for a long ti.

After all, he was a spellcaster himself, and one whose spiritual power had been specifically strengthened after extre allocations.

At his level, his active spiritual power had significantly reduced his need for sleep and allowed him to gather considerable energy.

As for dreaming, there was even less to say; compared to other professions, it wasn't that mages did not dream, but their overly active spiritual power suppressed the occurrence of dreams.

For him, experiencing this grogginess after a nightmare was a novel experience.

Clearly, he did not wish to have such experiences.

He raised his head to look out the window, and it was already light.

He pondered the work he had to complete today, and after going through the procedures again, he felt much more refreshed.

The best cure for lancholy was still a life seasoned with tension and excitent, Kael deeply felt this truth.

The peak of the war would be reached in the next two days!

...

An hour later, at the Wandong City Research Institute, Kael finally t Dr. Zack, whose fa he had long heard of but never t in person.

The doctor looked much smaller than he had imagined; frankly speaking, amongst the goblins, he even looked sowhat malnourished, hunched over, and did not give the impression of a scientist at first glance.

Well, if one had to say, he might resemble the hunched-over, skinny old man from the neighbor's house.

"Are you Kael?" Upon seeing Kael, Dr. Zack's face showed a kind smile, "I'm really sorry for the trouble we caused you before, the Twilight Guard Army is as reliable as ever."

Kael smiled and asked, "Have you t other mbers of the Twilight Crusaders besides ?"

"That was over a year ago, strictly speaking, if it weren't for their help, I wouldn't have been able to evacuate back to Wandong City in ti."

"That's indeed fortunate! The situation outside is really too chaotic. It's not easy to survive in these tumultuous tis."

This was Kael's sincere lantation.

Especially as the goblin empire neared its end, each major goblin city faced more terrifying assaults from the Alliance.

With each city being conquered, the remaining cities undoubtedly beca outposts being closely watched by large numbers of enemies.

They all waited to storm the castle, cut down the flag, and then swarm the city to devour it completely!

"It's a sha; I had hoped you could try out the Phase One results of our 'Heavenly Ladder Plan' by accepting the Divine Armor.

Given the current situation, you were the only one who could properly mount the Divine Armor. I indeed expected to see soone progressing beyond the bodies of their predecessors!"

Dr. Osborne, who was sitting upright nearby, sighed, walked up, and supported Dr. Zack toward a corner while speaking, "Dr. Zack, you've been too tired lately. We have options now, and in this situation, it's not suitable to bring up this topic anymore.

I also trust the colleagues from the 'Twilight Guardian Army' in their grasp of the battlefield situation. After all, Wandong City can still maintain its defensive and attacking stance, thanks largely to Kael and his team.

We just need to do what we need to."

Kael's mouth twitched slightly, instinctively feeling this was not rhetorical but literally ant.

It wasn't that no one had used the Divine Armor before him; it was that those who had used it had died.

If it weren't for gaining the Scarlet Dream Blade and, with his mother's help, eliminating its influence on himself, a disaster could have occurred during the mounting of the Divine Armor.

"Rest assured, I am undoubtedly on the side of Wandong City. However, sotis, blindly arming oneself to the teeth doesn't necessarily help tactically.

No matter what, the execution of strategies and tactics still relies entirely on the soldiers who participate in the war. Forget about the Divine Armor."

Of course, Kael couldn't entirely dismiss his initial reckless acceptance of the Scarlet Dream Blade and then the Divine Armor after his first entry into Wandong City.

He detested when people approached him loudly declaring "this is a necessary sacrifice."

But eventually, because of "Old White being transford into the Chosen," "much sympathy generated by the mories of Wandong City's past," "dissatisfaction with the Alliance," plus a very crucial one—

If he could stand on the side of Wandong City and win this battle, he could gain greater benefits.

All these reasons converged and finally made Kael resolve to act.

The real issue, according to Kael, was that as a Border Lord, he needed to prepare for everything and extract the greatest power from the Dungeon with the least cost.

This was a crucial elent.

To explore the Dungeon and complete its conquest wasn't about sending his people to die; if conquering the Dungeon completely ant sending himself or his n as "suicide bombers," then it all would have been aningless.
