This was the basic logic of this generation's archbishop.

Thus, the gaps within the five main churches were fully ford.

...

After returning to Wandong City, Kael finally had a mont to catch his breath.

The pieces to victory had been largely assembled; now it was a matter of adapting to circumstances as they arose.

However, things were more complicated than he had imagined.

That night, while he rested in the room designated for him in Wandong City, a soft knock ca at the door.

He opened it to find Uryan, the person in charge of the West Coast, standing outside with a serious deanor.

"Uryan, what are you doing here?"

Upon seeing Kael, Uryan seed to relax a bit, managing a smile that was rather intimidating as he said:

"I've heard you've stirred up quite a lot recently."

Seeing that Uryan was lightly dressed and standing in the cold wind, Kael sighed and said:

"Co in. Do you want to talk at the door forever?"

"Actually, this conversation might wake up a bit. At least I can stay a little clear-headed," Uryan managed a stiff smile, though it was far less intimidating now.

"You didn't co here in the middle of the night just to talk about this, did you?"

Kael had always had players monitoring the situation on the West Coast where Uryan was.

As Kael had predicted, in terms of defending the West Coast, there was no need to do much; simply targeting the high grounds occupied by the Elf Rangers first and then sending infiltrator players to harass the dwarves' camps extensively would greatly divert their attention.

The multi-national alliance seed powerful on the surface, but in reality, because they were from different countries, even if the sacred Briania was the core with the strongest forces, it still couldn't effectively mobilize these armies.

At the root of it, the interests of each nation weren't that aligned. They weren't malicious towards each other, but there were quite a few nations with conflicting interests amongst them.

Under such circumstances, many things veered off track.

Once the major countries run into trouble, the smaller nations would not think about seizing benefits first; instead, they would fear becoming the next target and choose to withdraw inward.

Thus, the necromantic wave that was supposed to cause heavy casualties amongst West Coast soldiers didn't materialize, and the Holy Beetles that would have incapacitated many goblins were not deployed in ti.

Everyone shrank back together, cautiously awaiting the next victim...

But they had no idea that Kael didn't possess such capabilities either.

Even if Sky Fall was a spell he created, the enormous consumption of magic power and spiritual power when casting it would leave him exhausted.

He couldn't possibly deploy large numbers of players to the frontline battle.

Given the special nature of the God of Death's chosen, if he did so, most players could be wiped out in an instant.

Death's chosen was exceedingly dangerous, far more so than most divine favoured ones.

The fleeing 400,000 Wandong City residents were almost all cursed to death by him in a brief ti.

To fight him, one must have strength on the sa level.

In the hands of the weak, even breathing would be difficult under his power.

However, Kael had already arranged a suitable opponent to restrain him, Old White.

After all, at his core, Old White was a legend and not easily influenced by Death's divine favoured.

Now that both the Earth Mother Goddess Church and the Dawn Lord Church had mobilized, the goblin army on the West Coast had silently abandoned their defenses and returned to Wandong City.

One could say that Kael had maximized Wandong City's combat potential.

Whether they could finally win or not depended on whether the final plan went as Kael had envisioned.

This was the utmost he could do.

Uryan's sudden appearance only puzzled Kael, as he felt no need to leverage the power of the divine armor this ti.

Uryan then spoke, "Kael, do you have any interest in going to the Wandong City Research Institute? Dr. Osborne has sothing that might be useful to you."

Kael frowned and shook his head, saying, "If you're referring to the weapons created using Evil God's Flesh by Dr. Osborne and his team back then,"

"No thanks. Those things are useless to ,"

Divine armor was important for intimidating the divine favoured ones; Kael already had sothing similar in his possession.

After the first formal raid, he had already acquired the Scarlet Dream Blade.

As for the defensive capabilities of the divine armor... to be honest, defeating the multi-national alliance required more than just being able to overco divine favoured ones.

In contrast, Kael's spells were the key to intimidating the alliance commanders.

Especially now that the Anti-Casting Field Device was deactivated, the combat abilities of those in the alliance had dramatically increased.

Going into battle with divine armor and the Scarlet Dream Blade would exhaust him completely.

Using spells directly was far more efficient...

The main reason was, to kill a divine favoured one, the simplest thod was probably Celestial Elent Fission.

The divine armor's raw materials being tainted by Celestial Elent Fission could grievously harm him before the enemy was even defeated.

After all, if it was made from Evil God's Flesh, it was fundantally different from the Scarlet Dream Blade.

"I didn't expect Dr. Osborne to even share that with you... Given that you know, why reject such an accessible power?"

Kael shook his head, declining, "I just don't like things made from Evil God's Flesh. It always seems like one mistake could lead to a very dangerous outco."

Hearing Kael say this, Uryan said no more, only giving Kael a aningful look before turning to leave.

The next day.

Kael woke up groggily and rubbed his temples.

Last night, he had a nightmare.
