The primary reason was that the Dungeon and the expansion of Lancaster Territory had demanded much of his attention recently, and institutions like the Lancaster Trading Company, which handled foreign trade, always had certain key matters that needed his personal attention before he could rest assured.
One thing led to another, and even with Queen Jasmine continuously enhancing his focus at work, it was still inevitable that so of his ti was taken up.
In addition, he had formulated a brand new plan for the future of his industries beneath him, as he was well aware that, given the current pace of developnt in Mage Academia, relying solely on his own strength was not enough to achieve rapid growth.
By this ti, Kael had already fallen into a deep slumber.
While the outside world heatedly debated about Kael, he finally managed to carve out a little ti from his busy schedule to draft a related plan.
This truly drained his last bit of energy, so much so that Hassaka, in these past days, had beco significantly more subdued.
Hassaka knew Kael's routine better than anyone, naturally aware that his young master had once again entered what he called a "crazed, strenuous work mode."
Yet the initial sche that Kael organized was still highly satisfactory.
The plan was called "A Digital Platform for the Compilation and Sharing of Various Specialized Research Outcos of Mages."
In this world, nothing could be more profitable than a monopoly.
Of course, Kael couldn't possibly monopolize the entire resources of Mage Academia, but he deeply understood the value of launching a platform and then harvesting the benefits as a bystander.
This is also why he claid that simply being a Duke candidate of the Helois Duchy couldn't guarantee his monopoly over this achievent.
If such an accomplishnt were to be promoted in an Otherworld, it had to be backed by a sufficiently powerful nation first.
Otherwise, no matter how large he scaled up the platform in the early stages, it would be viciously devoured by the predators waiting outside.
Secondly, he had to ensure the legitimacy of it in terms of magico-legal standing.
Nobody was more aware than Kael that the current era was not just filled with turmoil, but it was also when the powers held by the various churches were expanding unprecedentedly.
Even for the Bell Federation, if it wanted to wage war against the holy realm of Briania, it had to ensure it held the moral high ground, or it would likely face significant internal opposition.
Even though if those people did erge to rebel, they would rely be like fleas, not easily influencing the upper echelons of the Federation... But having a bunch of pests constantly biting you internally can be quite annoying, right?
This was also the reason why Kael rejoiced upon learning that the God of Literature was about to initiate the division of divine rights.
Normally, Kael's act of dividing Dinel's divine rights would cause great alarm among so deities, and even those deities and their churches that opposed Dinel might consider taking action against Kael.
But in reality, many things were not just a zero-sum ga.
If the God of Literature truly completes the division of divine rights, wouldn't more deities and churches prefer to work with Kael as a guide to help them replicate the God of Literature's feat and reap the benefits of the era rather than worry about hostilities from other churches?
So churches will beco Kael's enemies, but others will beco his friends.
Kael had long understood this point.
Only when his own authority was at its peak would the heads of the major churches, in a bid to preserve their deities' potential future interests, choose to let Kael build the corresponding platform.
In strict terms, the group that had the most Spellcasters was not the Mage Group, but rather groups like Magicians, Paladins, and Spell-swordsn, who had a certain level of magical ability at higher ranks.
And while these groups were not united, they were undoubtedly gathered under the auspices of the major churches.
The churches and the Spellcasters they controlled were the representatives within the large Spellcaster community.
And what could be more enticing to those people than "the willingness to cooperate with the major churches and attempt to deeply develop the division of divine rights"?
Kael was certain that by the ti the various churches realized this, even those who harbored dissatisfaction due to the God of Literature's rising power might set aside their reluctance and opt to work with him.
Cooperation?
There's of course no problem with cooperation, but sirs, I have a small suggestion.
I hope that Spellcasters worldwide can unite to create a platform for mutual exchange.
All major publications that disseminate Magic Theory or even other vocational developnt insights can be uploaded to such a platform.
Don't worry that uploading your journals to the platform will decrease the real-world sales of magic periodicals and affect your profits.
I, Kael.D.Helois, am willing to enter into a contract with the World Will, stating that the content uploaded to the related digital platform is not free to view, and that Mages who wish to read the content of the journals must pay to do so.
Of the profits generated from Mages paying for access, only 5% will be taken by my side, Kael, for the maintenance and autonomous operation of the platform.
