"Aside from the tribes recognized by the Yibel Federation and Lancaster as allies, there is no need to spare the rest of the aliens."
The group nodded. Those barbarians, originally transford from various Big Goblins and wasteland creatures, were thus devoured and digested by the Gluttonous Slis on them.
Kael gazed at the still-wary rcenaries of the Tulip Caravan. Their weapons remained at the ready, maintaining a posture for imdiate attack.
The rangers, who had risen, coldly glanced at the people they had just saved. So of the more ill-tempered ones were already planning to "make" these people realize how "friendly" they were.
"What a joke! Who do you think you are trying to confront?"
Such were their thoughts.
The rangers inherently liked many of Kael’s ways of treating them in Lancaster. The younger the rangers among them, the higher their regard for Kael.
Often, a single command was enough for the rangers to be willing to fight to the death for Kael.
The shared ideology, combined with the charm of the Incubus or the leader’s charisma, was enough to rally a team.
Not to ntion that, under Kael’s influence, the status and prestige of the rangers in the territory grew increasingly elevated, now also endowed with great power.
In many families that had served rangers for two or three generations, being granted Kael’s power and control over life was not considered a loss of freedom; it was called symbiosis with Kael.
This unbreakable life chain symbolized their shared battle with Kael.
Seeing the rangers’ increasingly hostile glances, the rcenaries showed hesitant expressions. Such confrontation could beco a new flashpoint at any mont.
At this mont, laughter ca from behind the rcenaries: "Put your weapons down quickly. Are you going to sha the Tulip Chamber of Comrce in front of His Highness?"
The elite archer and the cloaked mage approached. Hearing their voices, the rcenaries seed to breathe a sigh of relief and quickly sheathed their weapons.
The elite archer stepped forward and made a nobles’ salute to Kael, saying,
"Anse Rudolph of the Tulip Chamber of Comrce greets the esteed Kael, heir to Inglans and Lord of Lancaster. Thank you for your selfless assistance."
The mage beside him took off her hood, revealing a pair of beautiful eyes. She was a charming and composed woman. She bowed slightly and said,
"Renata Rudolf greets the Creator of the War Mage and Master of Magic Theory, Baron Helois."
Kael glanced at the two of them.
The personalities of these two obviously related Tulip rchants were markedly different.
Though they knew his identity, Anse’s focus was on his own power. Furthermore, this guy...
tsk tsk, was a competent rchant, emphasizing "selfless assistance."
Very rchant-like, but it also indicated he was unlikely to achieve great things.

The female mage, on the other hand, focused on his achievents, clearly a traditional mage who valued knowledge.
In an instant, Kael labeled these two but quickly discarded the labels.
Years of experience had taught him that what the eyes saw was not always the truth.
Of course, the truth did not matter to him. What mattered was this Chamber of Comrce’s business representation of Tulip.
The Tulip Chamber of Comrce had previously collaborated with him, and as one of the most renowned chambers in the Yibel Federation, their accumulated power was beyond ordinary people’s imagination.
Their sudden arrival in Lancaster certainly piqued his curiosity.
He pondered and then inquired, "I’m quite curious. Why would the Tulip Chamber of Comrce, spreading its business so wide, have an interest in trading at the border? The border is hardly as safe as the inland tropolises."
"Not long ago, we had just cleared out monsters and aliens from the surrounding areas. Yet, in a few days, another batch of reckless creatures has infiltrated."
"It can only be said that the benefits one can gain in Lancaster are so enormous that many short-sighted, greedy individuals rush to cause trouble first thing."
Anse revealed a friendly smile and said, "That is also why the headquarters of the Tulip Chamber of Comrce sent us here. Wherever there are the greatest benefits, there you will find the Tulip rchants."
"Lancaster has always been very friendly to friends. Welco to my domain. You don’t need much ti to prepare; you can follow us to Titan Town."
Kael gave them no reason to refuse, and they voiced no objections, either.
The two Tulip rchants bowed slightly, signaling compliance with the arrangent.
If a channel could be established with the Tulip Chamber of Comrce, it would undoubtedly be a significant boon for Lancaster.
As long as these rchants did not harbor any unworthy thoughts, Kael did not mind offering them a bit of help and benefits.
...
By the ti afternoon arrived, Kael’s party finally returned to Lancaster.
Inside the Tulip Chamber of Comrce’s carriage, Anse looked serious, without a trace of his earlier shrewdness. He turned to Renata and said in a grave tone,
"This Lord Kael is even more cautious than I imagined. Renata, how do your mage channels evaluate this lord?"
