Gordon clenched his jaw as he stepped back into the cave rembering what Valeria said
When he reached them they had fainted and when he asked what happened all of them said they didn’t know
They just suddenly felt as if they would die any second then their world went dark

After a while the racing pulse stopped and he walked to the lumpy sleeping back, he could sense that soone was inside
He sat next to the bag crossing his legs and shut his eyes

"Hey" he opened his eyes and looked at Vice

"When are you going to turn the others to ratman like us?" Gordon spoke, the only solution he had found to his problem was this
He knew regardless of how strong he would beco he would never be by their side all the ti and when he was not around they would be in danger

Vice kept stretching despite Gordon waiting for an answer, he walked to Gordon and grabbed his shoulder
"I’ll test their strengths soon" a smile appeared on Vice face "and regardless of how they do I’ll tjrn them all to ratman like us"

Their figures blurred through the smoke

They finally stopped but Gordon felt a little wobbly then he vomited on the sand as the blue sun peeked behind him
Vice looked at the map as Gordon wiped the vomit on his mouth
"Gordon do you think you can kill a hobgoblin?" The map in Vice hand vanished
He turned to Gordon, who gave him a gentle nood
"What about ogres?" Vice turned to the cacti and withered trees dotting through the landscaped
"I don’t know" Gordon rembered the ogres that trained him as the dry wind brushed against his skin
"Ok" Vice walked on the uneven sand and Gordon followed him, with the sun rising behind them
As they walked past the cacti, withered trees and sun bleached bones Vice asked about their ti here in the desert and the forest
Although most of the information he found he regarded it as useless the only thing found interesting was the information about the rodents in this place
Theo didn’t lie to him simply withheld information from what Gordon told him, the mice live in the desert while the rats live in the cities

They stopped walking as the faint sound of guns rang through the air, Vice turned to Gordon "kill as many as you can"
Gordon raised an eye brow at Vice as he walked toward the sound then
A tall iron wall appeared in their sight, the bullets peppered the ground filling it with dust as the faint sound of people could be heard past the bullets
Vice stopped walking and a portal appeared in front of him, Vice stepped into the portal and Gordon followed then
The hairs on his body stood as he felt a familiar presence, his grip on the sword tightened as sweat ran down his body
"We need to leave" Gordon eyes glowed as he stepped back from the blobs shimring under the sun then
The blobs turned to blond haired humans with pointy ears in green armour, Gordon turned to every direction but everywhere he looked they were there
His heart raced as he remberedhow he couldn’t touch a single one
"Drip"
His sweat dropped to the ground as so of them kept appearing from behind the tree’s
His breathing quickened as they stepped closer but the was still hope with Vice here, all they had to do was reappear in the desert and they would be safe
He grabbed Vice shoulder ’why isn’t he leaving’ Gordon eyes dotted through the elves hopeful that creature wouldn’t be here
"Let leave quick" he spoke in hushed tone as the elves stepped aside

His sweat dropped to the floor as his muscles tightened, he tightened his gripe on Vice shoulder waiting for him to leave before the could die
A pink humanoid with white hair flowing down the back of its white dress, he didn’t know why but sothing told him to run
He stepped away from Vice letting go his shoulder but his body froze as it stepped closer
His breathing quickened while his eyes frantically moved in every direction but every inch of the place was filled with the humanoids
His grip on the sword loosened as it stepped closer, ti seed to slow down at every step it took
mories filled his mind trying to give his reason to fight but a single mory overwheld it all
The mory of a whole forest turning to ash with a single breath filled his mind
"Thud"
’The nagas and bats were not that strong’ his sword dropped to the dirt as it stood in front of Vice
At his last monts he had expected to think about Freya the most, yet as he stared at that creature the last ratman he wanted to see was Scarlet
A bitter smile form as he shut his eyes then
"Are you in the next city?" it spoke
