The Saintess entered the room gracefully. Everyone present showed her great respect. Just looking at her brought a sense of calm to my heart. It was as if she radiated a warm aura that soothed all who were near.
Her reputation in the Braveheart Kingdom was impeccable. She was the head of the central cathedral, holding the position of Saintess—which ant she wielded the strongest holy power, particularly in healing magic.
The Saintess was well-known for her kind, gentle, and selfless nature. Every day, she accepted patients into her ho and treated them, never asking for a single coin in return.
She truly was the embodint of a sacred woman.
I had once been curious about the Saintess and looked her up in the Braveheart royal library. What I learned was that she had once been an ordinary citizen who had received divine blessings from the gods.
Historical records describe her as a being who appeared after the war against the demons ended—like a divine presence sent to maintain balance and spread sacred power across the continent of Eldaris.
But I’ve always had the feeling that the Saintess had another role—one that no one else knew. Her divine magic was simply too powerful, and such power could play a critical role in defeating the Overlords.
Still, I didn’t know if my suspicion was correct. Up until now, it was said she had never hard anyone, let alone killed. Even on the battlefield, she served strictly as a healer.
In the kingdom, she also helped maintain the protective barrier with her magic. That made it clear—her role was one of support and defense, not of destruction or attack.
I was curious about the limits of her power. But I restrained myself. I would learn more about her in ti. For now, the Saintess was already helping imnsely in her area of expertise.
I didn’t want to make her uncomfortable—especially since she’d helped so much with my father’s care. She even sent letters and ca weekly to visit the Blackmore family mansion to provide therapy for my comatose father.
She was truly a good person. I had always wanted to thank her—but I never had the chance to et her directly.
This was my first ti seeing her in person.
The Saintess was stunning. She had long, slightly wavy blonde hair. And her body... well, she was rather curvy, with a full chest that caught the eye.
She wore a white priestess outfit, and over her eyes was a white blindfold. I found myself wondering—why the blindfold?
I figured I’d learn more as I got to know her.
Just as I was taking all this in, Envi suddenly scread with excitent inside my mind.
"Nao... SHE’S AN ANGEL!! A SEXY BLONDE ANGEL DESCENDED FROM THE HEAVENS!! YOU HAVE TO TALK TO HER! MAKE HER JOIN YOUR HAREM!!"
I already knew this lecherous system would act this way. I scolded him in my thoughts.
"Envi... You’re actually smart, but that perverted mind of yours makes you STUPID! I know the Saintess is a holy woman who can’t marry or have a partner. Because... SHE’S PURE. It’s literally written in the kingdom’s history books."
"Tch, damn it, I forgot about that. I was gonna create a quest to ss with you, but I guess not... I’ll give up this ti. But one day, when your guard is down—I’ll make my move on her! Holy won turn on! HAHAHA!!" Envi said arrogantly.
"Don’t even think about it!" That was the last thing I said to him before I tuned out his nonsense.
A mont after entering, the Saintess walked up and reported to King Aslan that she had completed healing all the knights and civilians of Braveheart who were injured in the recent war.
King Aslan praised her and thanked her sincerely. Then, he invited her to join the alliance eting.
She took a seat beside Arsene, to the left of King Aslan.
"Allow to introduce her. This is the Saintess of the Braveheart Kingdom. She has played a vital role in the kingdom’s recovery. I hope all of you will work together with her," King Aslan began the introduction.
"I’ve heard the rumors about you. Such divine magic... extraordinary, and beautiful. I can see it clearly," said Salvador von Solara, the Magic King, praising her.
"Pleased to et you, Saintess. We hope we can collaborate well in the field of magic," Xerion von Solara added politely.
"So this is the rumored Saintess. It’s an honor to et you. We from the rcenary Kingdom of Gildoria hope we can work well together," said rcenary King Yunho clearly. The rcenary Queen Mina beside him nodded.
"Thank you all... It’s a pleasure to et you. I hope I can provide aningful support to this alliance. Please take care of ," the Saintess replied gracefully.
Her voice was truly beautiful—like a song that soothed the soul.
Everyone applauded her.
I smiled and joined the clapping. But for so reason... it felt like she was staring straight at with a serious expression. Even though I couldn’t see her eyes.
Runa, who was sitting on my lap, seed to feel the sa unease.
I gave an awkward smile and tried to ignore it.
The eting continued. I moved on to discussing Lilith Doomspire, the Dinsional Sovereign—Demon Overlord Rank 4th. As known, she possessed dinsional magic, capable of opening portals at will, anywhere, without distance limitations.
"A truly troubleso power. Even with the technology of the Solara Kingdom, we can only teleport within our domain," Salvador said, sounding slightly annoyed.
"That’s right... Lilith’s magic defies our understanding," Xerion confird.
I smiled and said, "That may be true... but according to the [Akashic Record], Lilith’s magic isn’t without limits. There are still certain conditions she must fulfill—like placing magical markers."
"Lilith places these markers in the form of invisible magic circles, which she scatters across locations outside the demon kingdom. These circles allow her to open portals in the areas they’re placed."
I explained in detail and showed one such circle hidden behind my armor. Lilith had placed it there the first ti I entered her teleportation portal.
She had explained how she was able to open portals to our territory—by smuggling elixir stones laced with magic circles into Braveheart and Gildoria through her demon agents.
That alone was enough to et the conditions for long-distance portal creation.
Xerion then asked if the incident where Demon Warlord Norx attacked the Solara Kingdom was also Lilith’s doing.
I explained according to Lilith’s own confession—she had no involvent in that event. Norx acted of his own accord to feed on the emotions of Solara’s citizens and absorb mana from the students at Solara Magic Academy in an attempt to break the Demon King’s seal.
That was why, in the last war, Lilith wasn’t able to open a portal to Solara—she only attacked Braveheart and Gildoria, where her agents had successfully infiltrated.
It made sense, considering Solara was located south of Braveheart and was much harder to reach or infiltrate.
Suddenly, the rcenary Queen spoke up.
"So if Lilith is as ’reasonable’ as you say, why did she attack our kingdom and Braveheart in the first place?!"
I understood her emotion—that reaction was valid.
I began explaining that Lilith was bound by a cursed magic circle that had caused her to lose her sanity and self-control. That’s why, during the last war, she couldn’t disobey the command to open the portals.
rcenary King Yunho then pointed out, "If that’s the case, and she lost control... then isn’t she capable of teleporting here right now, since you still have her magic circle on your armor?"
I assured him that wouldn’t happen—because Lilith herself had told how to deactivate the circle.
The [Akashic Record] began to glow softly, projecting the intricate pattern of Lilith’s marker magic circle into the air. The complexity of the design was breathtaking—its structure layered with symbols and interlocking formulas unlike anything commonly seen. Even the most accomplished magic users in the room—Salvador-sama, Xerion, and Arsene—were visibly impressed, their eyes locked onto the diagram with deep fascination.
I stepped forward and began to explain, carefully pointing to a specific section near the bottom of the circle.
"To deactivate this marker magic circle, you don’t need to destroy it. Just one small change is enough—alter this vertical line here, and rotate it to a horizontal orientation. That single adjustnt will disrupt the entire formula, making it unusable."
A soft murmur rose among the attendees. This level of manipulation was highly unusual. Normally, tampering with a magic circle—even slightly—would cause it to collapse entirely. But Lilith’s design was... different. It didn’t break under change. It adapted. It was alive in its own way.
"For now," I continued, "Lilith can’t teleport here. The circle on my armor has been altered. If I ever want to reactivate it and summon her for an exchange of information, I can simply return the line to its original form."
That explanation alone left Salvador-sama, Xerion, and Arsene both amazed and contemplative. They had considered the possibility of modifying magic markers before, but never with this kind of flexibility. This circle didn’t shatter under change—it invited it.
"This is beyond fascinating," Salvador-sama muttered, half to himself. "If demons have mastered this level of magical sophistication, it ans we’ve been lagging behind in more ways than we realized. This could change everything—not just the outco of the war, but the very foundation of magical theory."
I nodded in agreent. Even the rcenary Queen, who had previously voiced her doubts, seed reassured. The tension in her shoulders softened.
"That’s true, Salvador-sama," I said, pausing for a mont before continuing with a more serious tone.
"But there’s more. Sothing even more concerning."
I looked around the room, making sure everyone was paying attention.
"Lilith uses this marker system because her full power hasn’t yet awakened. She told herself—once she regains her complete strength, she won’t need these magic circles anymore. She’ll be able to teleport freely, anywhere in the world, without restriction. Even to the ends of the earth."
A heavy silence fell over the room. The implications were clear and terrifying.
"That’s why they call her the Dinsional Sovereign."
Suddenly, Magi Char gave a dry laugh, his voice thick with sarcasm.
"Dinsional? That’s quite a na. Sounds like sothing out of a fantasy tale."
I turned to him calmly.
"Is there sothing you’d like to add?"
He crossed his arms, his golden hair catching the light as he leaned forward.
"Sure. Dinsional magic might be vast, but it’s not unstoppable. There are limits—counterasures. Right?"
I blinked, a bit surprised. I hadn’t expected him to understand this topic so well. Maybe I had underestimated him.
Smiling, I replied, "You’re right. I’m impressed—you clearly understand this better than most. Now, everyone, please look here."
I placed another page from the [Akashic Record] onto the table. It revealed the foundational formula of Lilith’s teleportation magic—a collection of no fewer than a dozen interlocking magic circles, each one impossibly complex. They were woven together into one massive system, a masterwork of dinsional spellcraft.
Salvador-sama leaned closer, eyes narrowing with curiosity."This... this is incredible," he said.
I nodded.
"This is Lilith’s own teleportation spell formula. She gave it to willingly. She said this is her greatest vulnerability—and that if humans study and understand it, we could develop a barrier spell strong enough to repel her dinsional magic."
I looked around the room. The weight of the mont was settling on everyone’s shoulders.
"But here’s the issue," I continued. "Decoding this won’t be easy. It’ll take ti, effort, and the most brilliant magical minds on the continent to unravel it and turn it into a functional counter-spell. That’s why I’m asking for help—from all of you."
I turned to each person in turn.
"Salvador-sama, Xerion-sama, Arsene-sama, Saintess-sama... and you, Magi Char. I need your help to break down this spell and build sothing that can keep our kingdoms safe from Lilith’s reach."
Then I stood up and bowed deeply.
"Please. I’m asking not just as a scholar, or a warrior, but as soone who wants to protect the people. Help us create this barrier spell and place it across our kingdoms—to stop Lilith, and anyone else who might use this power for destruction."
King Aslan and rcenary King Yunho followed my gesture, both adding their voices to the request.
For a mont, there was silence again.
Then, Salvador-sama threw his head back and laughed.
"You don’t have to beg, my boy! This kind of magic—how could we not get involved?"
Xerion grinned, adjusting his gloves. "Finally, sothing worthy of study."
Arsene’s eyes sparkled, clearly intrigued. "This... this could change everything we know."
Even the Saintess smiled warmly and nodded. "I’ll do my best. For peace... and for the people."
As for Char, he looked away, sighing in exasperation.
"Tch. I was hoping to sleep through this eting..." But when Salvador shot him a glare that could cut steel, he finally muttered, "Fine. I’ll help. Just don’t expect to enjoy it."
I couldn’t help but smile at the scene. These were so of the brightest magical minds in the world—and now, they were united under one purpose.
This was the beginning of sothing important.
A critical first step toward securing our kingdoms from Lilith’s unstoppable magic—and perhaps... reclaiming balance in the world.
