The trial had begun, and yet—I had no idea what to expect.

Instead of panicking, I forced myself to take a deep breath and analyze the situation.

I scanned my surroundings.

From a swirling golden portal, monsters began to erge—creatures I had seen before in the forests of Braveheart Kingdom. Goblins, trolls, imps, red bears, and more... but sothing was off.

Each one of them was glowing with Forced Aura.

And not just any Forced Aura—Interdiate-level.

What the hell was going on?!

How could monsters wield Forced Aura?!

For a human to reach this level, they had to train for years, at the very least reaching Knight Rank A! Yet, here were these beasts, radiating the power of an experienced warrior!

And then—

They noticed .

Their glowing eyes locked onto my figure, and without hesitation, they charged.

I instinctively reached into my Dark Magic storage to summon my katana, [Kagegiri], but—

Sothing went horribly wrong.

[!!!WARNING!!!]

[TRIAL OF AURA – PHASE ONE HAS STARTED!]

[MAGIC USAGE HAS BEEN SEALED!]

I froze.

My magic... was gone.

I could no longer feel my mana flow. It was as if an invisible chain had bound my entire magical core.

I quickly checked my status screen—

And sure enough—

Every single magic spell was sealed.

I couldn’t use Dark Magic.

I couldn’t summon Kagegiri.

I was completely unard.

Panic crept into my mind.

How the hell was I supposed to fight them like this?!

Fighting against dozens of monsters—without a weapon or magic—was suicide.

For a split second, my thoughts turned to Envi.

If he were here, what would he say?

Would he crack a dirty joke?

Would he tease for panicking?

Or... would he actually help ?

Would he save ?

But—

He wasn’t here.

For the first ti since I reincarnated into this world, Envi wasn’t by my side.

And that realization hit harder than I expected.

I had been too reliant on magic.

I had been too reliant on Envi.

Envi had always been there. Every ti I faced a challenge, he was watching over . I never had to second-guess myself because I knew he would guide if I went astray.

But now...

I was truly alone.

What do I do?

For the first ti in a long while, I truly didn’t know.

Then—

A mory flashed through my mind.

I imagined Envi’s smug, annoying voice echoing in my head—

"HAHAHAHA! Look at you, completely useless without ! How pathetic! Fine, fine, I’ll help you out, weakling! Bow down to the great and handso Envi-sama! HAHAHA!"

...

I gritted my teeth.

That little bastard.

I could already hear him laughing at my misery.

And that—

That pissed off.

I clenched my fists so tightly that my knuckles turned white.

And then—

I made up my mind.

I threw my head back and shouted at the top of my lungs—

"SINCE WHEN DID I BECO SO DEPENDENT ON THAT STUPID SYSTEM?!"

"I’LL DESTROY ALL THESE MONSTERS WITHOUT HIS HELP—JUST TO SHOVE IT IN HIS FACE!"

If I couldn’t use a sword—then I would use my fists!

I imdiately dropped into a Mixed Martial Arts stance.

It had been so long since I relied purely on hand-to-hand combat. Ever since I ca to this world, I had been too focused on swordsmanship.

Now—

This was the perfect chance to test my raw martial arts skills!

And as for magic—

If I couldn’t use mana, then I still had Forced Aura!

I activated my aura without hesitation.

Dark purple energy exploded around my body, wrapping around my arms and legs like a raging fire.

This was the Blackmore family’s signature aura—a force so dense that it could crush bones with pure pressure alone.

I inhaled deeply.

Then, I smirked.

"CO AT , YOU BASTARDS!"

The monsters charged—but I was faster.

I dashed forward, using Wing Chun to unleash a barrage of lightning-fast punches.

Hundreds of rapid strikes pumled through the monsters like a hurricane of fists.

The goblins screeched as they were thrown backward, their chests caving under the relentless assault.

A troll swung its massive club at —

But I saw it coming.

[Future Sight: Level 2] Activated!

I predicted its movents instantly.

I sidestepped at the last second—

And then countered with a crushing elbow strike, sending the troll’s jaw snapping sideways.

It collapsed to the ground, unconscious before it even hit the dirt.

The imps tried to swarm from behind—

But I spun on my heel and unleashed a Taekwondo spinning kick, smashing my foot against their skulls.

Their bodies were sent flying into the air, shattering into golden dust.

Next—

I switched to Kyokushin Karate, driving my fists into the remaining enemies with brutal, full-force punches.

One by one—

They fell.

And then—

Silence.

The battlefield was empty.

I exhaled, wiping the sweat off my brow.

Was that it?

No.

I wasn’t that lucky.

A larger golden portal appeared.

Sothing huge stepped out.

My eyes widened.

It was a Goblin King.

A towering green beast, its muscles bulging like solid stone. In its hands, it gripped a massive claymore, forged from what looked like demonic bones.

And worst of all—

It radiated Master-Level Forced Aura.

This... was an Area Boss.

I exhaled sharply, forcing my heartbeat to slow down.

This was going to be tougher.

But that was fine.

I cracked my knuckles.

I had already made my choice.

"Co on then, you big bastard."

"Let’s see which one of us is stronger."

....

I launched a relentless flurry of punches and kicks at the Goblin King, aiming for any possible weak spot. But to my frustration—

He blocked every single attack effortlessly.

I had expected him to be stronger than the other monsters, but this was insane.

Not only was he incredibly durable, but he also never stopped swinging his enormous claymore.

That damn blade kept coming at —strike after strike, each one heavy enough to split a normal person in half. I barely managed to dodge, twisting my body at the last second to avoid getting cleaved in two.

Tch. This was getting annoying.

I needed a different approach.

I scanned him carefully, trying to find an opening.

But—

Nothing.

His body was too solid, his stance was too steady, and his movents, while wild, covered a massive attack range.

No matter how many fast strikes or heavy kicks I threw, they barely left a dent on him.

And then it hit —

Maybe I had been looking the wrong way.

What if I wasn’t supposed to look at his body—but instead at his Aura flow?

I quickly deactivated [Future Sight] and switched to [Eclipse Eyes], a skill that allowed to see the flow of aura within a being’s body.

As soon as I activated it—

I saw it.

The Goblin King’s aura was chaotic—completely unrefined.

The energy inside him was wild and clashing against itself, like an unstable storm.

Which ant—

He wasn’t controlling his aura properly.

I continued throwing attacks—fast punches, sharp kicks, and powerful elbow strikes—not to deal damage, but to keep testing his defensive aura.

Sure enough—

His Forced Aura was making his body as hard as steel.

Every hit I landed bounced off him like I was punching a solid wall.

Damn it. My normal attacks wouldn’t break through.

I needed sothing sharper, sothing that could penetrate his defenses.

And then—

A mory flashed through my mind.

There was a technique I had used back at Solara Magic Academy.

A move that was designed to cut through defensive aura.

I clenched my fists.

Yes—

I could use that skill.

First—I had to distract him.

I activated [Kasoseki], a skill that tripled my agility, making my movents three tis faster.

With my newfound speed, I launched a series of unpredictable attacks, weaving between his strikes, dodging his blade at the last second, and attacking from every direction.

I wasn’t trying to hurt him.

I was trying to force him to expose a weak point.

Then—

With my Eclipse Eyes, I finally saw it.

There was one spot where his Forced Aura didn’t cover—

The back of his neck.

For so reason, the aura flow in his body never reached that area.

His biggest weakness—was his nape.

That was my chance.

I dashed forward, barely dodging a wild horizontal swing from his bone claymore.

Then, I dropped my body into a low sliding maneuver, slipping under his legs and erging behind him.

I instantly leaped into the air—

And activated my strongest hand-to-hand combat skill—

[Blackmore Hand Combat Style: Kuroi Tsuba].

Dark purple energy sharpened around both of my hands, forming blade-like extensions of aura—

Like an invisible pair of katana attached to my arms.

"Take this, you bastard!"

I swung my arms, slicing directly across his exposed nape—

SLASH!

For a mont, ti seed to freeze.

Then—

Blood sprayed into the air.

His head fell to the ground with a heavy thud, rolling a few inches before stopping.

His massive body collapsed next.

The battle was over.

The Goblin King’s form slowly dissolved into golden fragnts of light.
