The throne room of the supres was silent. Vast, cold, carved from stone as old as the sky itself. Crystal lanterns burned dimly along the high walls, casting long shadows that danced with every flicker of light. The banners of the Supre Council hung still, their colors faded from centuries of blood and dust.

And Sumi Hana sat at almost corner of the room, legs crossed on a floating glass-like platform, her gaze distant as if staring into sothing far beyond what the room could contain.

She held her chin in her hand, her voice quiet—half-whispered, half-confession.

"Kindness... is strong."

"But it makes you look weak."

She gave a hollow smile, not at anyone in particular, just at the emptiness that surrounded her.

"People like that. They use it. They drain it until it’s dry, then complain when you stop giving."

The light from above reflected off her red eyes as mories stirred in her mind.

She rembered the mornings where people will co to her church to worship her. The days when she alone worked hard to build the paradise garden. She rembered being the saviour, the one who gave others food, while the rest stood behind her like shadows, all smiles in public.

She rembered how she was called a god when she was trying to live a peaceful life in the TEOD island.

Her fingers tapped softly against her knee.

"So now..." she said, smirking slightly, "it’s their turn to work."

She stood up and stretched her arms behind her back.

A group of orcs passed by the doorway in formation—big, strong, with crude armor and bandaged hands, they picked up the pillers, rocks.

"We won the war!." One orc said.

"Yea we are too strong for those demons." Another replied.

"Our god lady sumi is with us so no need to worry." Another said.

Sumi watched them for a mont, her expression unreadable.

Then she smiled, just faintly.

"...Orcs are sure useful."

Her voice was calm, almost amused.

Then she slowly turned around and looked at in the middle of the room. There, at the center, lay Mira.

she was unconscious, her body gently glowing with faint traces of broken magic. Her clothes were torn, her breath shallow, but steady.

On her chest sat a tiny fairy-like creature—Eli—her small eyes wide with sadness.

Her small wings drooped slightly as she stared at her master, unmoving.

Sumi stopped a few paces away, observing the two.

In her mind, the voice of Aries spoke calmly.

[She was under a mind control spell. Now that the caster is dead, the spell has lost its anchor.]

Sumi narrowed her eyes slightly.

"...Probably Shiro’s work."

She crossed her arms, exhaling slowly.

"So Lunara won in the end, huh?"

She sat down again, lowering herself beside Mira’s sleeping form. She rested her elbows on her knees and tilted her head.

"Well... now that I think about it," she murmured, "the others are probably furious with . I did teleport them all into the battlefield without saying a word."

She gave a crooked grin.

"...I can be an ass sotis."

Aries didn’t miss a beat.

[You always were.]

"Shut up," Sumi muttered, rolling her eyes.

Then—movent.

Mira’s fingers twitched.

A faint breath left her lips. Her eyebrows shifted slightly.

And then her eyes opened—slowly, weakly.

Eli gasped.

"Master Mira!!"

The tiny fairy flung herself upward with a flap of her wings, then landed softly on Mira’s cheek, clinging with her tiny arms.

"You’re awake!! I’m so glad! So, so glad—!"

Her voice trembled as tears welled up in her eyes.

"I-I thought you were gone!"

She pressed her forehead gently against Mira’s cheek and began to cry—small, fragile sobs that echoed in the silence like bells.

Sumi rose slowly, brushing off the edge of her jacket as she stepped forward.

Her gaze settled softly on Mira, who was now sitting upright on the floor, shoulders trembling as she tried to gather herself. Her face was pale, her lips parted slightly in confusion.

Mira held her head, fingers pressed lightly against her temple. Her eyes blinked several tis as if fighting off a heavy fog. Her voice ca out faint, broken by dizziness.

"...What... happened? Where am I...?"

She glanced around the grand chamber, her mind slowly catching up to the reality around her.

And then—

She froze.

Her eyes widened.

Her body stiffened like glass under pressure.

She rembered.

Gearor.

A sudden wave of mories hit her like a punch to the chest.

How Gearor was killed by Shiro because of her.

Tears instantly flooded her eyes.

"It’s... it’s my fault," she whispered, voice cracking. "He’s dead because of . I should’ve... I should’ve died too..."

Eli’s wings flared out as she fluttered up to Mira’s face.

"Don’t say that!!" she cried, face flushed with emotion. "Please don’t say that, Master Mira! It’s not your fault! He chose to protect you because he cared—he wouldn’t want to hear you say that!"

Mira clutched her chest, trembling uncontrollably, her face buried in her palms.

Sumi watched the scene quietly.

Her gaze turned toward the empty throne seats that lined the far wall—once ant for the three Supres.

"Ah... that’s right," Sumi muttered. "Sir Gearor... he’s dead huh..."

She sighed, then looked to the seat he once occupied—its back cracked, dust still floating from its armrests.

"So that makes her the last Supre, doesn’t it?"

She turned and walked toward Mira again.

"Miss Mira," she called gently.

Mira looked up slowly, eyes blurred with tears.

"Y-you?..." she breathed. Her voice was small, barely audible.

Sumi ca closer, stopping just in front of her. Then, with a graceful flick of her hand, a soft glow appeared at her fingertips.

From the light, a folded letter ford, its paper laced with the faint scent of pine and the seal of the Supre Council pressed gently into its corner.

"This is for you," Sumi said quietly, holding it out.

Mira blinked.

Hesitantly, she reached forward and took it.

Her fingers trembled as she opened the letter.

The handwriting inside was strong, careful—unmistakably Gearor’s.

---

Dear Mira,

If you’re reading this...

Then I’m dead.

But if this letter reached you, then it ans they saved you.

That’s enough for .

Mira... I always watched over you. Even when I didn’t say much, I was proud of how far you ca.

I loved you, like family i never had. Maybe more than that, even if I never had the guts to say it out loud.

Shiro’s ti is coming too.

Soon, you’ll be alone.

But you must not stop.

You are a Supre.

And the people will need you.

So live.

Do the work I can’t anymore.

And I’ll be watching you forever.

Gearor

---

Mira’s hand flew to her chest, clutching the letter tightly.

Her face crumpled as she collapsed forward, sobs wracking her body as she pressed the paper to her heart.

Eli cried with her, hugging her cheek.

Sumi watched, her expression unreadable. And in a small voice she says.

"So that’s what he ant...."

She rembered the mont when Gearor was about to leave the church but then he turns around and says.

"If you don’t mind then can i write a letter before i go."

Sumi stand there looking at mira.

Then, after a long mont, she turned away and said softly.

"Sotis... kindness is too bitter."

Her words echoed gently through the stone walls.

Suddenly, a sound cut through the quiet.

A soft, high-pitched cry.

Sumi’s head jerked up, her red eyes narrowing in alert.

A baby.

She moved swiftly toward the noise, her boots clicking softly against the floor. A few ters away, nestled in the roots of a white flower growing through a crack in the stone.

The infant was wrapped tightly in large petal-like leaves, pulsing faintly with magic. The flower seed to shelter the baby, shielding it from the surrounding rubble. Its face remained hidden beneath a soft hood of petals, but the cry was clear, raw, full of life.

Sumi knelt beside it and gently slid her arms underneath.

"Hey... hey now," she whispered, lifting the small bundle. "It’s alright.....mama is here..."

She slowly rocked the baby back and forth, her hands moving up and down in gentle rhythm. The crying softened slightly as the petals curled around her fingers.

She stared down at the child, brows furrowed, sothing unreadable behind her calm eyes.

Then she sighed.

"Now that I think about it..." she muttered, tilting her head with a look of tension, "...how am I supposed to explain this to them?"

She looks up and in her mind she thinks.

("Bokkon and others will be surprised i can sense it from here.")

[90% succes chance of your prediction of them getting surprised.] Aries speaks.

Nki closed her eyes and says.

("You don’t need to tell .)

Sumi looks down and softly removes the flowers and looked at the baby’s face then with a small smile on her face she says.

"She looks just like her..."
