"Shido, what is your relationship with Origami?"
Tohka leaned on Shido's shoulder as she spoke with a pout. Although she was quite dumb and childish, Tohka knew that there was sothing going on between Shido and Origami. And her hunch beca stronger when Origami spoke those words during their catfight.
After their class, Shido and Tohka decided to head ho together. anwhile, Origami still has training at AST causing her to be unable to go ho together with them. Seeing Origami's crestfallen look on her expressionless face, Tohka beca happy and a smug expression appeared on her face.
Origami originally always won whenever the two were in an argunt, yet, right now Tohka felt so refreshed seeing Origami's disappointed look.
Although, Shido had promised to revive her parents, and her hatred towards Spirits also diminished a lot. Origami cannot quit AST that easily since their mory about AST has to be erased to keep their existence a secret. Unless she join another organization on par with AST that could provide her with protection and allow her to retain her mories. However, such organizations were few and far between and joining one wasn't a simple process.
Origami understood this well. Even if she no longer held the sa grudge against Spirits, her role in AST had shaped her entire life. Simply walking away wasn't an option, not unless Shido could offer her a true alternative.
For now, she would continue as a mber of AST, all while keeping a close eye on their activities regarding the Spirits so she could provide valuable information to Shido.
anwhile, Shido who heard Tohka's annoyed question beca silent. Although she was kind and innocent, Shido didn't want to lie to her, especially since she may have already had a clue about their relationship even though Tohka is not that sure since she was just starting to learn about emotion.
To make matters worse, Origami had shalessly spouted all sorts of nonsense, further fueling Tohka's doubts. Shido could see the way her brows furrowed, her purple eyes filled with uncertainty.
"Origami and I... have the sa relationship as we do."
Shido spoke carefully, watching Tohka's reaction. For a mont, she blinked in confusion, processing his words. Then, her expression shifted and her brows furrowed slightly as if trying to piece everything together.
"The sa... relationship?" she repeated slowly, tilting her head.
Shido watched Tohka's bewildered expression and he had to admit that even though she sotis act dumb and childish, she also had the grace of a noblewoman and the majesty of a knight (almost like Darkness) that could charm the hearts of many including other girls.
Tohka's eyes widened. A mont of silence passed before she finally responded.
"No! Shido is mine, you cannot be with Origami!"
Shido's eyes widened slightly at Tohka's outburst. Her grip on his arm tightened as she pouted, her cheeks puffing up in frustration. Just thinking of him having a different woman other than her in his arms made her heart ache.
She wanted Shido only for herself, she wouldn't really mind it that much if the other woman was close to her like Kotori and Reine, yet it was Origami of all people? The nesis of her life?
"I'm sorry, Tohka. I love you but... I also love Origami."
Hearing his words, Tohka had the urge to beat up his face until Kotori wouldn't be able to recognize him afterward.
Yet, upon noticing Shido's serious expression, Tohka hesitated, doubt creeping into her frustration. She was confused. Since she wasn't originally from this world, there were still many things she didn't fully understand, like human customs, relationships, and the complexities of love.
The only way Tohka had gained the current understanding of things was through Kotori and Reine, who had patiently taught her.
However, much of what Kotori had taught Tohka was sowhat inappropriate. It only taught her how to seduce him and make their relationship more intimate, which had backfired in ways she didn't anticipate which had now led to the current relationship of Shido and Tohka.
The only person who taught Tohka the right way was Reine who patiently guided her. She worked hard to help Tohka understand, much like a sister would to her sibling or perhaps even like a mother guiding her child.
Sotis, she also tried to learn from the television, but much of it didn't help her in practical ways. Instead, it often left her looking sowhat funny, as she tried to apply the lessons from TV without fully understanding their context.
Was it really that strange for Shido to be with multiple girls? Or was this just another part of human emotions she had yet to grasp?
"Shido is mine!" Tohka exclaid, unsure of what else to do. Frustration filled her as she pouted, her arms crossed defiantly. "I won't let so thieving cat take him away!"
Watching her throw another tantrum, Shido could only let out a helpless sigh. He understood where Tohka was coming from, her emotions were pure and straightforward.
Expecting her to suddenly accept this situation was unrealistic, especially since no normal girl would easily tolerate the idea of sharing the man she loved with another girl.
He could only let her slowly understand his relationship with other girls.
