"Dual Talent Limitless are humans who awaken two Limitless talents instead of one." Pala was more than happy to explain. "They are extrely rare. Currently, only three of them exist in the country!"

Listening to her explanation, I didn’t know how to react to this. Wouldn’t she pass out if I told her I currently had four talents and a list full of talents I could purchase from?

"Ooh... Wow..." I gave a dry cheer, but Pala didn’t seem to care.

She hurried towards and grabbed both my hands, looking deep into my eyes before speaking.

"Since you gave the correct answer, I can trust you with this offer." Pala said while clasping my hands together with her hands wrapped around mine.

It felt warm but uncomfortable.

I looked at our hands before looking her in the eyes.

"What is it?" I asked in the sa dry tone, but Pala seed too excited to notice my disinterest.

"Join the Watchers." She said before letting go of my hand and taking a step back.

"We are a global-wide group of Limitless who are determined to break free from the constraints of powerless humans." Pala’s stern voice returned. "We exist in every state, country, and continent on earth."

I wasn’t sure why, but the introduction was underwhelming for . Maybe it was because I already had too many responsibilities on Earth and in my territory, so joining another organization would only be more stressful.

Yes, I know the governnt is trying to fuck us all up, but it doesn’t really bother because I can easily choose to abandon this world and stay in my territory forever. Since I had options, why should I bother with a problem I can easily avoid?

I didn’t respond yet. I turned around and walked to the edge of the room and sat down, leaning my back on the wall. Pala could only watch take in a deep breath for nearly a minute and exhale loudly before returning my attention to her.

While it seed I acted this way to rest on the wall, my real intention was to distance myself from her because there was a possibility of rejecting the offer.

If it cos to that, I doubted Pala would let live. In that case, I needed so space between us. Just enough to open the Gateway to my territory before she could reach .

"Apart from working for the good of all Limitless, what are the benefits of joining the Watchers?"

I expected a hostile reaction, but Pala seed happy I asked. Her smile widened, but she didn’t approach.

"Let’s see... We duplicate every piece of information gathered from every raid each mber engages in. Because of this, we hold more information on the different territories and races than any country." Her smile widened upon seeing the slight shock.

I rembered how our team attempted to cart away every book in the Nightfall Dominion. I couldn’t help but wonder how much information they had gathered over the years from nurous raids that had taken place across the world.

This alone was tempting enough!

"It’s also not uncommon to have our mbers from other parts of the world disguise as support units to aid other mbers during raids. That way, it increases our survivability." Pala continued. "In the past decade since formation, we have lost only nineteen mbers."

Buzz!

My eyes narrowed and I instinctively leaned in. While I may sound crazy for disregarding human life, losing only 19 Limitless in a decade of rift invasions was far beyond impressive!

But then, my eyes dilated as a thought crossed my mind, causing to look up in shock. I rembered Natasha saving under Pala’s orders. Back then, Pala had already voiced her interest in .

"Is Natasha..."

Pala nodded with a smile even before I could finish the question.

"You are quite sharp." She complinted , thinking this information would make happy, but it only annoyed deep down.

If Natasha was part of the Watcher group, which has caught my attention, then I can’t kill her because it would attract too much attention. Especially when they have such a low mortality rate.

’I have to deal with her undying love now...’

I tried my best not to show the disappointnt on my face.

"Anything else?" I asked while slowly rising to my feet.

At this point, I already had enough reasons to join. If I could have the help of a secret organization of Limitless, I could complete more raids and secure more territories.

I would grow faster and more safely with their help. Even if she didn’t list any more benefits, I already had enough reasons to say yes.

"Errm..." Pala tapped her chin lightly with a thoughtful expression. "You will beco one of the pioneer mbers of the new country we plan to form." She said dismissively.

I frowned, because this was ant to be the major offer. Yet, she killed the vibe and made it sound insignificant.

"A country exclusive to only Limitless?" I asked, and she nodded sheepishly.

With that said, Pala skipped towards like a little girl, even though it was an old woman hiding within a young body. She stopped a few steps away and extended her hand with a warm smile on her face.

"So what do you say?" She asked. "Will you honor my final request?"

I chuckled and nodded.

"So far, I have only made profits with you." I said as I took her hand. "I’ll take my chances with you this last ti." I added.

Pala took my hand and shook it aggressively while her smile widened.

"I knew I made the right decision picking you out from the rest." She laughed while retracting her hand.

She began skipping to the exit of the room and only stopped at the gates, looking over her shoulder.

"As for hiding your true ability from the governnt, I’ll handle it." She assured. "Viktor hates you for so reason. But if I step in, he will have no choice but to back off."

I smiled in response and gave a small bow.

"I’ll have to thank you in advance, my lady."

With my head lowered, I could only hear her giggle before she left the room. My smile faded instantly, replaced with a frosty gaze as I raised myself and looked in the direction of the door.

"The Watchers, huh?" I scoffed. "If that group is as good as you make it sound, then I’ll take it for myself!"
