For the next few hours, Reina and I chatted about a lot of things. I got to learn about the aning behind the words "Patron of Purity and Peace."
Apparently, there are also the Patron of War, Patron of Science, and Patron of Nature. These patrons were regarded as spiritual beings, sent by the heavens to guard and guide the people.
They are considered spiritual watchn. But for humans, it’s different. Humanity has always ended up with the Patron of Purity and Peace, who has always reincarnated in the form of an extrely beautiful woman.
Instead of accepting her guidance, they lust after her—day and night.
Kings have fought wars to possess her, with the sole intent of sleeping with her. Ti and ti again, she has resisted with her powers and kept them at bay.
This is because once her purity is broken, she loses her powers and becos just another woman.
But these lustful n do not care.
The past Patrons of Purity and Peace were either killed by frustrated kings because they couldn’t have them, or by jealous queens who hated seeing their husbands chasing after another woman.
The life of a Patron of Purity and Peace was the worst amongst all other patrons.
Carnal desire...
Lust...
Love...
These emotions are feelings I strongly wish to overco—to beco the perfect being fit to replace God.
Anything that will keep human must be cut off, and only then will I be fit to be God.

After a few hours of chatting, we stepped through the rift, returning to the camp.
"It’s day already?" Reina blinked in shock. "Didn’t we spend a few hours in your world?"
Shaking my head, I chuckled a bit.
"A day in my world is equivalent to a week in yours," I explained before walking forward.
"What?" Reina blurted out, clearly shocked by the revelation. But I had nothing else to say to her.
I walked out of the tent and saw the soldiers packing and preparing for our journey to Solinthar.
I noticed their curious gazes. The mont they saw , they froze in fright before looking away.
Seconds later, Reina stepped out—and they glanced again, seemingly shocked. This left confused.
I shifted my attention to the guard at the left, who was also looking at Reina with a surprised gleam in his eyes.
"Why is everyone looking at us that way?" I asked, and he froze, realizing he had been caught.
"Don’t make repeat myself," I said in a calm but cold voice, and he quickly fell to his knees and lowered his head.
"Forgive , Lord, but we thought you would be the one to defile the Patroness. We didn’t expect My Lord to fail as well," the guard scread while shivering.
"Fail?" I raised an eyebrow.
"He didn’t fail. He’s not interested in ," Reina spoke up, and the guard’s head snapped up with a look of disbelief on his face.
"What?" the guard blurted out, his shock overshadowing his fear.
Sigh.
Letting out a heavy sigh, I walked away while Reina chased after .
Only now did I understand what she ant when she said so many people wanted her.
"I told you," Reina said from behind.
Thud!
I froze in my steps and let out another sigh before turning to et her gaze.
"Since this is the case, you are not safe in this world. And I’m in need of your harmonious tunes to fight off the demons in my head," I explained as I took a step closer, closing the distance between us.
Reina flinched and her cold face flushed red as I stood just inches away from her—but she didn’t step back.
I could see faces snap in our direction, murmurs spreading like wildfire, and even excited screams in the background.
"Since we can provide each other with what we need, follow from now on. Stand by my side at all tis, and I will keep you safe," I offered.
Her initial shock slowly transford into a smile, and she nodded.
"I accept."
Ding!
[Congratulations on acquiring your first disciple!]
[Disciples share similar traits as their master, even gaining half of his physical and ntal capabilities. Also, should the need arise, they can borrow the abilities of their master. Disciples are sired to their master, so they are 100% loyal to you alone.]
[ 1000 EXP]
Wow. That was all that ca to mind.
Unlocking two critical upgrades from the system in just a few hours was amazing.
The whole write-up from the system ant little—except for the 100% loyalty part.
That was what I needed. Subordinates who would stand by my side till the end, be it good or bad.
I raised my face to see Reina staring at in a deep and intimate manner.
Instinctively, I took a step back and revealed a small smile.
"Let’s get going," I said, and she nodded.

— Five Hours Later —
Riding back on a horse wasn’t as convenient as flying, but I had no choice since I had an army of nearly sixty thousand with .
We were still hundreds of ters away from the towering walls when a loud trumpet was blown and hundreds of soldiers began appearing on the wall.
From the distance, I could see familiar figures like Empress Althea and Serena.
The atmosphere was thick, and I could sll the fear from the walls.
But it’s normal—anyone would panic seeing tens of thousands of soldiers approaching their city wall.
Swoosh!
I jumped off my horse with a bloodied sack in my hand and soared into the air as my wings flapped fiercely, propelling toward the gate at a breathtaking speed.
In re seconds, I reached the top of the wall, stunning the Empress and Selric.
"These soldiers are mine to command now," I said, and went ahead to toss the sack at one of the soldiers before they could even speak.
He caught it and opened it.
Haaa!
The man scread as he let the sack fall and staggered back, drawing the attention of everyone.
Empress Althea, Caleum, Serena, and Selric glanced in that direction before returning their gaze to .
"As promised. The heads of the three foolish kings," I shrugged off their shock like it was nothing. "Now open the gates."
