She had never seen such a shaless person.

Sluts like this were sothing of a rarity now.

"Now I finally understand why Zachary and Yvonne haven’t fixed you bitch personally, allowing you to act shalessly in this place.

"Because you are really disgusting. Even hitting you strikes as a shaful thing!"

What Sibel had just said was really mind-boggling.

Could it be that in her eyes, a woman was just a fertility tool? A tool to satisfy n’s sexual needs?

A newly pregnant woman couldn’t satisfy her husband’s needs and thus had to understand her husband’s unfaithful actions?

This woman was pregnant as well, and yet she wanted other pregnant won to cheat on their husbands?

Because of the slaps across her face, Sibel had not realized what was going on. After catching on, she scread, "You - You hit a pregnant woman!" "I hit your face, not your belly.

"It surprises you still rember you are pregnant. Does the baby in your belly know how shaless you are?"

Eva warned her angrily, "I’m warning you. Zachary Leinster doesn’t like you. You tried to seduce him but failed, and that’s because you’re not worthy of him.

"You glibly said nothing happened between you two. You took advantage of them and deliberately caused other people to misunderstand.

"If my sister is unhappy about it, I will slap your face again!" After saying that, she tapped the Record button of her phone.

"I have recorded what you said just now. If you make mischief again, I’ll let everybody know you’re a slut!"

Eva said coldly, sounding like a cold-blooded animal.

Feeling humiliated, Sibel was reduced to tears.

Eva glanced coldly at Sibel, put away her phone and left.

Alas.

After leaving Tis Square, Eva felt that it was so difficult to maintain a romantic relationship.

In her eyes, Yvonne Taylor and Zachary Leinster were a model couple.

What happened today might not affect their relationship at all.

But Eva didn’t dare say she could trust Nicholas completely if he had such a narcissistic admirer.

However, was it because he didn’t give her a sense of security or because of her suspicious mind that she couldn’t trust him?

Should she not have argued with him?

Without him in her company, Eva began to feel a little lonely in this huge city.

Eva got onto a bus in a dreamy way. An hour later, she arrived at the production center of Smart Piano.

The team of technical experts for Smart Piano was almost ready. The next step was to start the manufacture.

Smart Pianos were high-tech products, so it was impossible to mass-produce them from the very beginning. They could only produce a small batch first.

Eva arrived at the factory, and the owner of the factory soon ca out to greet her personally.

"Miss Loraine, the first Smart Piano is almost finished. Do you want a go?"

Eva nodded.

There was a black piano reposing in the middle of the workshop.

Its black paint was shiny and brand-new, very beautiful.

On the surface, it looked just like an ordinary piano, but its inner structure was very different.

When playing a regular piano, the player pressed a key of the keyboard, giving the small hamr covered with felt inside a pull, which then hit a steel wire to make a sound.

A Smart Piano worked in a way more similar to that of an electric piano. The keyboard served as a switch. The press of a key produced a pulse of current, activating the built-in crystal oscillator which then generated a pulse wave of a fixed frequency, and then the frequency divider magnified it and passed it into the loudspeaker to make a sound.

Of course, none of those was the key point.

The creative part about the Smart Piano invented by Eva lay in its teaching function.

...

A Smart Piano was more like a teaching tool than an instrunt.

Take the first function of the smart piano for example. It had a display at the part which a regular piano had for the scores. The score could be shown directly on the display. The principle was similar to an iPad’s, so the learners didn’t have to have their music scores printed or buy piano books, which would save them so money.

Also, the keyboard of a Smart Piano was very smart. Every ti the player played a key, the piano automatically recorded the data of their touch in the background.

For example, the learner’s timing, smoothness of their movent, intensity, and so on. By using those data, it could help beginners learn piano through artificial intelligence.

The learner could also wear earphones while playing the piano, which would not only prevent them from disturbing other people but also enable them to receive live direction from a robot on a one-on-one basis. It was like they had a robot teacher.

She tried the first Smart Piano produced in this factory and marveled at its functions.

Because the owner of the building materials company was very generous in his investnt, they didn’t have any monetary problems.

Both the technology and the materials were top-of-the-line, and the factory was the best in Hiltonan.

In addition, the workers were very skillful, and the products looked posh.

There were only so details that need to be perfected, and when that was done, the piano would be up to standard.

After assessing the overall performance of the piano, Eva went to the workshop to inspect the production. Eventually, she shared her opinions with the owner of the factor. Their cooperation struck her as pleasant. And then Eva left the factory.

It was already dark when she walked out of the factory.

The factory was located in the suburb of Hiltonan.

It was in the wilderness. Even the nearest bus stop was half an hour’s walk away.

The area was overgrown with weeds and looked a little spooky at night.

Having had a tiring day, Eva turned on the flashlight on her phone to give herself courage.

It was after walking out of the factory that she felt that she had indeed been overstretching herself recently.

However, after seeing the first Smart Piano, she found her fatigue gone.

This was indeed a very good product.

She believed that when her Smart Pianos went into the market, it would definitely

cause a sensation.

Just as she was trying to get out of the wilderness and onto the main road, a group of people ca buzzing like hornets!

Eva was stunned for a mont.

Before she could react, a snap was heard.

Flashes.

Flashes everywhere!

Hundreds of reporters ca out of nowhere and besieged her.

"Miss Loraine! Miss Loraine! Here!"

Eva did not have a clue what the reporters were doing. Was this about the piano interview?

But she had never disclosed anything about the piano project to anyone. How had these reporters co to find out? "Step aside!"

A group of people pushed and Eva was about to lose her balance.

Struggling to hold her belongings, she managed to retain her footing among the crowd so that she would not be pushed to the ground.

However, at this mont, soone walked out of the crowd.

"Eva? Are you Eva?"

Eva was stunned when she heard the voice.

The speaker was a middle-aged woman.

Her voice was drowned out by the snaps of the flashes.

She squeezed out of the crowd and walked up to Eva whose face registered incredulity.

"I’m your mother, Eva!

"Eva, I’m your mother. I’ve finally found you!"

May Worley was holding the hand of a boy a few years younger than Eva. The boy looked a little shy, his skin a little dark, his hair long and tousled. "This is your little brother Ned! His na is Ned Huff!"

...

Looking at the two people in front of her, Eva was a little bewildered.

Before she could react, the reporters hurled a barrage of questions at her.

"Miss Loraine, I heard that you never looked for your parents after you grew up. Is it because they are from rural areas and might compromise your public image as a pianist?"

"You’re a leading young pianist in this country, and it is said that you charge several hundred grand for a single show, and yet your little brother nearly failed to get the dical treatnt he needed because he was short of money. Do you have anything to say about that?"

"Miss Loraine, what do you think of the word ’filial piety’?"

...

Eva was dumbfounded by the barrage of questions.

It had never crossed her mind that she would be collared by so many reporters after having a quite hectic day.

And it certainly had never occurred to her that her mother and her little brother who had been absent from her life for more than 20 years would reappear in front of her in this way!

It was not that she didn’t want to acknowledge them as her family.

But what were these reporters doing here?

Why were they asking such questions?

There was a lot of noise.

The reporters’ sharp condemnation flustered her further.

Eva was just about to say sothing when May Worley suddenly burst into tears.

"Mom has been looking for you for so many years.

"Mom called you many tis, but you never answered your phone. Boohoo...

"Are you still mad at for sending you to the orphanage, Eva? Mom didn’t have a choice..."

May Worley babbled on and on.

Her purpose was to have all reporters present know that she was Eva’s birth mother.

Originally, she had taken 300 thousand dollars from him and left contentedly.

But afterward she had heard from soone that the Brown family in Zoravia was far richer than she imagined.

The 300 thousand dollars was nothing to him.

Her daughter was Nicholas Brown’s girlfriend. As his girlfriend’s biological mother, shouldn’t she get more money?

Also, she heard that Eva was earning a decent inco, and it struck her that Eva was obliged to offer her family so financial support.

Anyway, May’s logic was unbelievably selfish. Now she had brought a large group of reporters here, which was tantamount to an attempt to coerce Eva into acknowledge her as her mother, so that she, May Worley, would be able to use the power of the press to pressure Eva into giving her money.

Having recovered herself after the bemusent, Eva had co to realize that this woman, who had brought so many reporters to this place at this point in ti, probably harbored evil inventions.

So Eva said apathetically, "I’m sorry, but this is a personal affair. Please stop taking photos."

"Eva..."

May looked at Eva, a tad surprised.

"Are you not excited to see Mom, Eva? Are you not delighted? Do you not wanna hug Mom?"

Eva rely replied in a calm voice, "First of all, I’ve never seen you before. I’m not sure whether you’re really my mother or not.

"Second, I grew up in an orphanage. Even if you really are my mother, it won’t be easy for to feel any gratitude to you before I figure out why you sent to the orphanage."

She suddenly recalled what Nicholas had told her not long ago about what he had been through during his childhood.

His story made her realize that not all parents truly loved their children.

Therefore, it was unwise to acknowledge this woman as her mother before she figured out the truth.

Predictably, having noticed how cool-headed Eva was and that Eva seed in no hurry to acknowledge her as her mother, May Worley instantly revealed her true colors.
