Chapter 706: Chapter 706: Musty In Heaven

The Imperial Palace.

Voldemort had his large green wings positioned in a defensive posture, protecting him from the combined attacks from President Musty’s three remaining wives.

The dark red wooden ground has been completely obliterated by the resulting shockwaves and the power beams.

The sound of hard objects striking an almost tallic surface resounded out as the scales of Voldemort shone with the light of impenetrability.

Just then, he received a special encrypted telepathic ssage. It was faint as a whisper and Voldemort had to focus inward to listen well.

"He’s going back..." Seth’s voice was a whisper.

Seth had done all he could do without raising any suspicion.

It was now or never.

Imdiately, Voldemort roared, a shrill and deep, monstrous cry that was followed by a wave of green flas and sharp, pointed vines aid at the attackers.

President Musty, as useless as he had rendered himself to beco, could not do anything.

He watched with eyes open wide in shock as his remaining three wives were pierced through by the flaming vines.

One of them, the winged one, even had the vine burst through her mouth, into her throat, and out of her shoulder. The flas burned her from the inside and her agonizing cries were cut short as she turned into a pile of ashes.

The remaining two followed a similar fate, with the fiery one lasting a lot longer, but that only served to prolong her suffering.

To their dying breaths, they had been loyal. President Musty was a curse on their lives that they had to defend to the very end.

With those pesky weaklings out of the way, Voldemort closed the distance between him and President Musty.

Before Musty could muster any strength to resist, Voldemort brought down his claws and smashed him.

Musty was still in the process of transforming into his true form, not that it would be particularly useful in this situation.

A portal opened up here under Voldemort and Musty. Not just any portal but a Heavenly Gate leading to the Leonine Heavenly realm.

The dragons had always had a few stashes of lost heavenly beacons from the lion civilization. Although they weren’t enough to perform a sudden invasion, it was enough for a surprise visit.

Voldemort pushed President Musty through the heavenly gate and dived in shortly after.

The glow of the golden sky flashed for a second before fading away as the heavenly gate closed.

The silence did not last as the protective shield of flaming vines lost its power source and was torn through by pillars of lightning.

"Noooo!" The new Imperial Guard Boss roared in anger.

Voldemort had escaped, the wives of the president were dead, and the Primordial Horse was gone.

How was he supposed to explain this?

He flapped his large blue wings, blowing away the entire room with a single flap.

The whole structure was cleared and it was revealed that nothing else was left.

Just the outline of where the room had been in the palace.

A deafening silence reigned supre.

A silence that was heavy and unsettling.

The blue dragon dropped to the ground and transford into his humanoid form. He beca a fair-skinned tall dragon man with lean muscles and bright blue eyes.

He looked like he had just been dropped into the coldest part of the deepest ocean.

How was he supposed to explain this?

Rembering that Voldemort had not co here alone, the Imperial Guard Boss snarled.

He stomped his feet, flapping wings, and zood out of the palace in a thick beam of lightning.

Outside the Imperial Palace was a different scene though.

The Imperial Guard Boss just dashed out of the throne hall, ready to claw down all the attackers when he stopped mid-air.

His humanoid body was suspended a few ters off the ground and his arms were still stretched outward.

His eyes, however, betrayed the sheer feeling of fear in his heart.

He was stuck, frozen, not by his will, but by the power of an external force.

"Hmm," Ibadon’s voice descended like the blade of the grim reaper.

It was unclear how long it had been since Ibadon ca, probably a few milliseconds ago right after Voldemort left.

The Imperial Guard Boss could catch a glimpse of Ibadon’s face and saw that the Regent was not looking good at all.

"Regent, they attacked us, they caught us by surprise," The Imperial Guard Boss quickly shouted, not just to save himself but to save all those under him.

Outside the palace, it was as though ti had ceased to flow properly.

All the arkships were frozen, held in one location by a saintly black veil of darkness. It was the sa for the powerful dragon officials and the dragon guards.

Ibadon was the only one, floating in the center of it all, with a sense of animation. All of space and ti was being suppressed by his presence, allowing him to see the truth of all.

Instantly, Ibadon understood what happened.

"How convenient," He muttered, rembering how Seth had spoken for a while about subjects he knew were not important.

It made sense now.

Ibadon just never understood the incentives for Seth to help Voldemort or stabilize the dragon empire, so he never considered anything wrong if he stepped out of the palace for a few seconds to talk with Seth.

If only he knew.

But he was right, Seth could have just left without doing anything. He would’ve just left the horses and the dragons to their fates.

Seth and the tigers wouldn’t gain anything if the All-King got his hands on President Musty, but they also wouldn’t lose much. Most, including Seth, didn’t believe that the All-King could achieve full embodint, even if he removed Musty.

The only reason the All-King wanted Musty dead was because of the reversed Conquering Essence.

Killing the Primordial Horse would instantly put a stop to the production of the reversed Conquering Essence.

So, Seth literally had no rewards for helping Voldemort.

Then why did he do it?

What did Voldemort say to convince Seth to offend Ibadon?

Or, was Voldemort just lucky?

Or was it the All-King that was lucky?

It would take so ti before the sensitive powers of the universe could catch on and understand the mysteries of what happened today.

For a while, Ibadon genuinely did not know how to react to this. He had lost Elizabeth, and now, President Musty was gone too.

"Useless," Ibadon muttered, referring to the dragon guards.

He turned his gaze to look at the arkships and the dragon officials who had all joined in on this attack.

They dared to pick a ti when Ibadon would not be around.

Did they not fear the consequences?

How does this make sense?

"Regent!" One of the dragon officials shouted, getting everyone’s attention.

Ibadon snapped his head to the dragon. Imdiately the long snout of the dragon snapped shut under the vicious pressure. All the fangs were fractured, smashed together ruthlessly.

"Let

guess," Ibadon spoke, "Voldemort has a plan.

And if he doesn’t, he plans to at least get just the Empress back," He said, speaking the minds of the dragon officials.

They felt that Ibadon should at least forgive them for their intentions were not ill.

All they wanted was their Empress, the regent should understand.

But the regent was beyond annoyed. He was vexed.

"I’m surrounded by idiots..." Ibadon shook his head. But his dull red eyes casually shifted from blue to black in a certain srising pattern.

"Your fates have been decided, I shall wait for Voldemort to co back with his result... if he can," Ibadon said.

He then snapped his fingers.

All the dragon guards were released from the pressure while all the dragon officials were slamd into the ground.

Their knees, ribs, jaws, neck, and wings were all pressed firmly into the grounds of the palace, unable to achieve any wiggle room.

They would all remain here until Ibadon said otherwise.

After Voldemort passed through the heavenly gate, he arrived in the vicinity of the Leonine Heaven.

The sudden change in environnt stunned him a little.

Golden skies and floating continents in different directions.

"What the actual fuck!" President Musty vibrated, shocked, and flabbergasted that Voldemort had actually pulled it off.

He was half expecting Ibadon to co out of nowhere to save the day but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.

Voldemort grabbed Musty by the neck and held him in place as he waited.

He had heard about the difficulty that ca with invading this Leonine Heaven, he was hoping that the rumors were true.

They were.

As soon as Voldemort ca to the Leonine Heaven, there was a subtle shift that was sensed by a few tier 7 lion kings nearby.

It was subtle and a cause for curiosity.

Not an actual cause for concern.

They could sense that sothing was where it wasn’t supposed to be.

But that was it.

Voldemort alone would have been enough to do the job but he just happened to co with President Musty.

President Musty, with his body still saturated with reversed Conquering Essence, was like a beacon of light to all the lions linked to the Lion System.

They detected him instantly.

Voldemort’s heart shook, the faint buzzing he was hearing was not a coincidence. That was the sound of billions of lions roaring at once.

Voldemort swallowed his saliva, maintaining his true form for maximum efficiency and strength.

He was determined to live in this place with Empress Elizabeth today.
