Chapter 514: Chapter 514: Baptism Of Ti
"So what’s it gonna be?" Kael asked with a questioning and suspicious gaze.
mphis stood there, quiet and silent. It seed like she didn’t really know what to say at this mont.
Her powers did not give her the ability to predict the future as the future as a law and concept were things that had yet to happen, so therefore could not be determined so easily.
Fortune lions had better chances of predicting the future than Ti lions.
mphis could never have predicted that Kael would react to her this way. She may have watched a bit of his past and knew a bit about his personality, but that was it.
If she had checked well, she would have understood that one could never really know the kind of things that would spur Kael to beco unreasonably annoyed.
"It appears I may have angered you," mphis said with a stoic expression, "But I do not see my offense, there’s no need for an apology from ."
Kael shrugged his shoulders, "Who gives a fuck.
I’m asking if you’re going to be on my side or on Ma’abu’s side.
Or do you want to be neutral?
Only one answer will prevent
from labelling you a sinner right here and right now."
Kael was beginning to raise his voice.
Exalon looked at Kael with worry but could also understand how he felt. To Kael, it was as if mphis was seeing everything as so sort of past ti or entertainnt, not sothing to be taken seriously.
But to Kael, his life was at stake. Two different perspectives were clashing.
Kael, being just nine plus years in this world, and about forty from his last life, could not possibly understand the way mphis saw the world.
mphis would have a better ti talking with the likes of Ibadon than with soone like Kael.
It wasn’t a matter of age, just perspective.
"You threaten , Kael. Or, you’re making a promise.
Is that it?" mphis asked not taking any offence.
"..." Kael did not say anything.
"I understand, I may have expected much from you when you are not quite there yet.
Even the Primordial has to undergo the Baptism of Ti to understand...the world.
Kael, I’ll assist you.
You and Ma’abu were sooner or later going to bring trouble to my doors, I should take the wheels from here," mphis said as she turned around.
All the insults Kael had thrown at her appeared not to have registered at all. And if it did, mphis was not showing that she was bothered.
"You will?" Kael asked, frowning.
mphis nodded, "Yes, if I support Ma’abu, I could still divert history. But the kind of victory that Ma’abu seeks is not sothing I would desire.
Although you are not a pure soul yourself, you’re still the better option."
Kael stared at mphis in silence, trying to see if he could read through her expressions.
mphis looked mildly amused with a slight hint of worry on her eyebrows. That was all Kael could garner from her face.
It was hard to tell if that was her genuine expression or if she was still wearing a mask of emotions.
"So, you really see yourself as a diversion?" Kael asked.
"Not just ," mphis said, "My diversion will spread and multiple individuals will start diverting destiny and prevent history from repeating itself.
I’m rely going to act as the catalyst. If I succeed, even you will be a diversion and you will be able to do sothing other Primordials have never done before,"
Kael raised his eyebrows, "I like the sound of that.
How do you want to do this?"
Kael was a lot calr now, mphis and Exalon could see that.
His guard was still raised and Exalon could tell that Kael was ready to label mphis as a sinner if anything was really wrong.
"I proposed to be your ntor but you refused earlier..."
"Nah, I refused because I probably wouldn’t have ti," Kael said.
"Hmm, either way, I noticed soone who picked my interest on my way here," mphis said.
"Who?"
"I believe you call him Ozia, he’s your son.
I can sense that there is a latent power of ti brewing within him. It hasn’t been used or touched at all.
It would be good if he could receive ample ntorship that would mould him into a proper king.
I would like to assu that you don’t intend on keeping a triple-powered chira as a re Prince for the rest of his life," mphis said.
"Ozia? Who knows?
Do you want to ntor him because he has ti powers?" Kael asked.
"No, if I only had students with ti powers I would have never offered to teach you anything," mphis explained.
"Okay," Kael decided to walk back to his pillow sofa and sat down.
"Let’s say I agreed to be your student, how would you have ntored ?" He was curious.
mphis looked up from the floor. She raised her hand slightly and her fingers flickered.
Kael and Exalon’s eyes widened, they could feel a terrifying pressure burst out from mphis’s body.
But before they could do anything, they felt the terrifying aura disappear like it had never appeared.
"I would make you undergo the Baptism of Ti first. That way, even though you do have ti powers, you can understand the way Ti lions and lionesses see the world.
It should give you an advantage and make it easier for
to interact with you," mphis said.
"What did you just do now?" Kael asked with a narrowed gaze. He had felt sothing was wrong just now.
"Ti distortion. So lions have been spying on us so I paused them." mphis said casually.
"You paused them?" Exalon asked.
"Yes,"
"What did you an by Baptism of Ti?" Kael asked, not caring about what mphis had done to those lion kings who were eavesdropping.
He couldn’t care less and his attention was taken away by what mphis was saying. Kael had a feeling that what mphis was talking about could help him get stronger.
He had been inching infinitely close to the tier 6 power level. It was high ti he had his next evolution and ascended closer to Apex status.
"With all the years under my sleeves, I can’t explain how it works in detail. You’d have to experience it for yourself.
Think of it like experiencing the passage of ti without actually aging. It’s more complex than that but that’s the best way to explain it.
You could also say it’s the creation and destruction of tilines..."
"..."
"..."
"What?" Kael was confused.
"Will you participate in it? I’ll guide you through the process," mphis said.
"Will it make
stronger?" Kael asked.
"That’s a very likely scenario. Ma’abu advanced from tier 4 to their 5 back then when he had his own baptism," mphis said.
"Hmm,"
Suddenly, Exalon established a telepathic link with Kael, sothing that definitely caught mphis’s attention but she didn’t care.
"All-King, I think it’s a good idea to let her teach you.
Even if we don’t pull her fully to our side imdiately, we can start small.
It seems like she’s mostly taking action because she wants to avoid the trouble that would co her way.
It’s a selfish reason but we can still exploit it.
If other tier 7 lions start seeing her around you more often, they will think mphis has joined your side irrespective of how she thinks.
By the ti mphis tries to explain, if she ever does, it would be too late and we would already have multiple tier 7s trapped in the benefits of our system features.
Hehehe, you could also gain a lot if you just play along..."
"I don’t have ti for trickery, as long as it increases my strength, that’s why I’m even considering this right now," Kael replied telepathically while also keeping a stoic expression.
mphis could detect the telepathic waves being transmitted between the two of them but ignored them all.
Her own senses were now focused on the little cub she had detected not too long ago.
The way her mind worked was so strange that even Ma’abu couldn’t fully understand it.
Through another discussion with Kael, I noticed did she seed offended. Although, she did seem surprised at the wide vocabulary Kael had for slurs.
Also, mphis could confirm that Kaeo was actually just nine years old. This shook her ancient heart greatly but she also chose to keep her emotions in check.
No one was worthy of moving her.

With very few being knowledgeable of the facts, sches were woven under the fabric of reality by the different players of the grand universal ga.
Each player wanted sothing quite different. Unfortunately, they couldn’t get it without eliminating the other.
All the fortune lions could detect it, there was great instability, and this ti, there was nothing that could be done to stop it.
The universe had never truly been peaceful, but now, it was about to get a whole lot more chaotic.
This ti, they were sure, peace was very far away from the lion civilization. And it wouldn’t be recovered unless one player was eliminated permanently.
