"Ah... I feel like I'm about to die."
As Lyon traversed through the void, his entire body felt drained, his limbs sore, as if his energy had been completely depleted.
Since awakening his Kryptonian bloodline, he hadn't experienced this kind of exhaustion. For a mont, he felt utterly miserable.
When he pierced through a thin mbrane and arrived in the new world, regaining mobility, his appearance had beco ghastly pale, with sunken eyes and a look of extre fatigue.
"The sun... quickly, I need the sun..."
Weakly opening his eyes, Lyon imdiately perked up in the next second.
"Huh? What's this feeling?"
Right in front of him, tens of thousands of kiloters away, there was a massive yellow sun blazing down on him!
The warm sunlight washed over his body.
After just a few breaths, Lyon was fully revived!
In an instant, he twisted his body, completely regaining his peak state, now brimming with vitality and energy!
"Ah, this feels amazing!"
Lyon stretched his arms and legs, feeling as powerful as ever. He glanced up at the sun again.
"I actually crossed over right in front of the sun?"
"What a coincidence. Could it be that the world consciousness here threw over?"
He looked back in space, still seeing the familiar structure of the solar system.
Millions of kiloters away was the little blue planet he was all too familiar with.
"It's just a bit far from Earth. Even if there's no resistance in space, and I can keep accelerating, it'll still take a while to get there."
"I wonder what world this is."
"With such a massive energy cost... could this be the DC universe? If so, wouldn't the world consciousness here be God?"
Lyon looked around.
Since sound couldn't travel in space, he couldn't exactly shout for "God" to co and show themselves.
But in the next instant, an imnse consciousness descended, connecting directly to Lyon's brainwaves.
[This is the Primordial Universe. I am not the world consciousness. I am the Original Will.]
Oh, great.
This ti, it wasn't so naive consciousness like the one from the Resident Evil world—it was soone who could talk back.
"Wait.. Primordial Universe? Original Will? That sounds... oddly familiar." Lyon stroked his chin thoughtfully.
[Your strength is too weak. You can't help . Leave.] The Original Will sounded rather disappointed.
Lyon froze for a mont, then suddenly felt a repelling force pushing against him, as if it intended to eject him from the universe entirely.
What?
Getting kicked out without even an explanation?
He quickly sent a ntal response back. "Wait, what do you an? What danger are you facing that you need my help for? At least explain first!"
[I don't know.]
"You don't know? Then that's even more reason you need ! I can help you figure out what the danger is!"
[Stellar-level—too weak.]
It was the first ti Lyon had ever been dismissed as "too weak."
"You're calling weak? Wait a second, stellar-level... Could this be the Starry Sky world where they cultivate genetic primordials?"
Lyon swallowed hard.
In the Starry Sky universe, the Primordial Universe was an enormous macro-universe, with a diater reaching an astounding 100 trillion light-years.
A single Marvel universe spans only about 100 billion light-years in diater.
But beyond the Primordial Universe lay the boundless Cosmic Sea.
And above that? The Origin Continent and the Chaotic Source World!
The highest power levels in this universe could rival Marvel's One Above All (OAA).
With such a vast and monuntal setting, no wonder traversing to this place required so much energy.
"I'm weak now, sure, but I can beco incredibly strong in the future! Trust , Original Will!" Lyon quickly pleaded. "Just believe in !"
He was desperate to stay.
[Co back when you've reached True God status.] The Original Will responded.
Lyon's eye twitched.
Oh, great.
The gap between his current strength and that of a True God was a trillion-fold, at the very least. How long would that take?
And yet, his eyes shone with excitent.
This was a monuntal opportunity, a grand chance of a lifeti!
In a super universe like Swallowed Star, having direct communication with the Original Will could only an one thing:
Endless fortune and possibilities! It ant that he was the Child of Destiny in this world!
"Wait, wait!" Lyon hurriedly intervened. "Don't be so quick to kick out!"
"Think about it—if I stay here and grow, wouldn't I beco a True God faster? Wouldn't I be able to help you sooner?"
Lyon sensed that the Original Will's attitude toward him was fairly favorable. It felt like there was room for negotiation.
For a supre being like the Original Will of a ga-universe to willingly converse with a "re stellar-level" individual was already unbelievable. Lyon didn't need to overthink it—clearly, his world-hopping ability was playing a pivotal role here.
All he could say was that his original world's bestowed ability was simply amazing!
Grasping this crucial point, Lyon pressed on, "You let traverse here in the first place, which ans you see potential in my growth, right? Give a chance!"
The Original Will didn't respond imdiately. It seed to be weighing the options.
[You have three hundred years.] After a long pause, it finally relented.
"Perfect! More than enough!" Lyon bead. Three hundred years was plenty of ti to learn and grow.
[You are incompatible with this world's rules. Do you accept modification?] The Original Will sent another thought.
"What kind of modification?" Lyon asked cautiously.
[Original Source Modification: Adaptation to Supre Rules.]
"Alright, bring it on!"
He could roughly guess the reason.
After all, he wasn't native to this world. Without modification, it was likely he wouldn't even be able to cultivate within the Swallowed Star world's power system.
While the effects of the modification were unknown, an opportunity to directly connect to a power system surpassing multi-dinsional levels was right before him—there was no way he could let it slip by!
In the Marvel universe, Lyon knew that most thods of becoming stronger were often leaps in power.
Moreover, after such leaps, further progress was almost impossible. Take Spider-Man and Sentry, for instance—both gained their strength through serendipitous opportunities, after which their power levels essentially plateaued.
In Marvel, it could be said that gaining strength was entirely reliant on chance. Finding a systematic and thodical way to grow stronger was exceedingly rare.
Now, with a structured and practical path to power within his grasp, Lyon wasn't about to miss the opportunity.
Lyon had to admit, he felt much more secure with a system where effort would directly lead to rewards.
The mont he conveyed his agreent, an imnse cosmic energy descended upon him out of nowhere.
Wrapped in this energy, Lyon couldn't perceive its entirety. But from Earth's perspective, it looked as if a corner of the sun was suddenly obscured by colossal black clouds and cosmic lightning.
The Primordial Will's modification began swiftly and ended just as quickly, with no pain whatsoever.
Lyon felt as though he were subrged in a warm spring. A soothing current flowed through every cell in his body.
His blood seed to turn golden, and each bone underwent a profound transformation. Even the depths of his genes experienced an evolutionary leap of so kind.
It wasn't just his physical body—Lyon felt as if his very soul had beco clearer, his ntal state inexplicably calm and serene.
When he opened his eyes again, a flood of divine clarity and knowledge surfaced in his mind.
[Species: Special Lifeform]
Gene Multiplier: 100
Innate Abilities: Immortality, Body of Light, Solar Evolution, Temporal Biokinetic Field…
"Too powerful!" Lyon's excitent surged like the mont he first awakened his bloodline.
As he swung a fist, he could feel his strength had increased by at least a hundredfold!
It turned out that the "modification" ntioned by the Primordial Will was about transforming him into a special lifeform unique to this world.
—Not only had his genes been perfected and his various superpowers integrated into this world's frawork, but he had also been granted innate abilities like immortality and a hundredfold gene multiplier.
Lyon suppressed his inner excitent and began analyzing each of his newly acquired abilities.
The so-called "Special Lifeform" referred to entities in the Swallowed Star world that were naturally born from the Primordial Universe and incapable of reproduction.
These lifeforms were innately powerful, with a minimum baseline of 100 tis the normal gene level.
They could easily achieve eternal immortality, vastly surpassing ordinary Kryptonians in strength.
Of course, the so-called inability to reproduce only applied within the confines of the Primordial Universe.
This restriction was designed to prevent the infinite proliferation of powerful special lifeforms.
Once Lyon left this universe, such limitations would naturally no longer apply.
Now, about the gene multiplier:
In this world, the basic genetic strength of life was set at 1.
The gene multiplier represented the magnification of this basic strength.
For every additional multiple, the strength of a being's physical body, energy, and affinity with universal laws would also double accordingly.
This could be considered a talent-based attribute.
At this mont, Lyon's gene multiplier was at 100, aning his genetic foundation had been increased a hundredfold compared to when he first arrived.
His single-arm strength, which was initially two million tons, had now skyrocketed to an incredible two hundred million tons.
This was the fortune of a super-universe.
Even crumbs spilled from the hands of the Primordial Will were enough to bring earth-shattering changes to Lyon.
