Chapter: 4, Introduction
In a vast majestic hall, a large green circle painted on the ground held many unconscious high-schoolers still wearing their uniform that didn’t seem to be recognized by any of the conscious people in the hall standing outside the Circle.
"Is the process complete? Are they really otherworlders?" A gaunt old man clad in Golden armor, a shining red robe fluttering on his back with a sharp expression, completely unexpected from a person already in his eighties with clear white hair that couldn’t be hidden even with hair dye. Well, only for Dain and others from his world.
In this world, people in their eighties are only considered to be in their middle age as they had an average life expectancy of 145 years.
Anyway, soon a Woman with golden blond hair and a blindfold hiding her beautiful face spoke, her voice laced with exhaustion, "The summoning is successful. They should regain their consciousness soon..." with these words, she fainted.
The old man, clearly a King or an Emperor, didn’t mind it. A summoning spell such as this is already very mana consuming. Besides that, she holds a much higher position and influence than he himself ever could.
So white robed figures with golden patterns on their clothing went up to her and picked her up to rest. She was the Saintess and the one who cast the summoning spell. Her mana was pretty much depleted and needed a long rest to avoid Mana Overdrive.
The old man bowed to them as she was led away. Then he looked at the unconscious people as he ordered others to prepare for the next steps.
A few hours later, the people lying on the green circle woke up one by one. And the first one to wake up and stand up was none other than Hestia. After her, Azaria and Penelope also woke up with others.
But in fact, Dain wasn’t the first one to wake. Because he was never unconscious, he opened his eyes without getting unconscious and witnessed both of the familiar figures’ interaction. He just waited for others to wake up first so as to not let anyone notice him.
Dain himself couldn’t understand why he didn’t lose consciousness like the others. He thought it might be an effect of the Pendant of Imus or sothing, so he ignored it and only stood up after most of the people.
After everyone woke up, the white haired old man announced
"Welco Otherworlders! We welco you to our world, Imarion. Welco to our empire, the Kaiser Empire. We hope you could help us in our perilous tis."
Dain was exasperated hearing that sa cringy line that the person also admitted later to be embarrassing. But he has to act like a newcor.
Eventually Hestia stepped forward and introduced herself, "Greetings citizen of Imarion. I am Hestia, who the goddess has bestowed the title of Hero."
The Emperor looked at her, his eyes that looked awkward a mont before turning into excitent.
Suddenly a male figure ca forward, it was Aldric. He looked at Hestia and announced "I am Aldric, who also has received the title of Hero."
The people of this world looked at them, clear joy and excitent written on their faces. The white haired emperor looked at them and loudly cheered "I welco you Hero’s. It is a blessing to our world to have two Heroes. There should also be a Dark Knight and Sage, since there is Heroes. Whoever has received these titles please step forward. We’d like to know your identity."
As his words hung in the air, the otherworlders whispered, discussing who those people would be. But soon four people stepped out.
Azaria and Caspian were the first to speak, "We are the one who have been granted the Class of Dark Knight."
Then it was the twin’s turn to speak as they announced "We are the one who received the Class of Sage."
The Emperor was practically shaking with Joy as he tried hard to suppress his excitent and keep a calm poise. But his lips curled into a smile as his joy was evident.
The people of this world burst into loud whispers as so of the conversations were heard by the newcors.
"Two heroes, Two Sages and Two Dark Knights. Our World is blessed, this would definitely increase the chances of our victory against the Demon race."
"The three Legendary Classes are given to three males and three females. Is this a sign of their possible union?"
"They have quite the looks. All six of them are very beautiful and handso."
The three boys exchanged awkward glances hearing their words. Aldric was a bit happy hearing their words but he didn’t show it. On the other hand, the three won were calm and composed, not showing a hint of awkwardness.
Dain in fact noticed the changes from the previous life, but ignored them. He had decided to stay out of their business, so he needn’t care about it.
"The Legendary SS-tier class holders, The Heroes and the S-tier class holders, the Sage and Dark Knights have introduced themselves. I would appreciate it if the others could also introduce their identities." The Emperor Said.
Everyone started to introduce themselves one by one. So tried to lie about their rank but the Emperor caught their lies. Dain still couldn’t understand how he could differentiate lies from the truth, but he knew even in his previous lives that never lie in front of him.
He had twisted the Truth and the Emperor seems to not notice. He sighed with relief; at least he knew how to avoid his lie detection skill or sothing like that.
Soon it was ti for Dain to introduce himself. He walked to the center and took a deep breath and opened his mouth.
Through the corner of his eyes, he noticed the three girls paying attention to him.
"I am Dainsleif. I have a D-tier Class called ’Drear’."
